I recently ordered a binary watch that was set for same day delivery for 08/28. I received a notification saying that it was out for delivery at 5:51 PM from Manteca, about three minutes from where I live. It was supposed to be delivered between 5 PM and 10 PM—it never showed up. I called Customer Service at around 12:30 AM, only to be informed that the distribution site in Manteca never received the product after waiting on hold for eight minutes. I was told that it was due to an error in their system. It would not make any sense that they would say it's out for delivery when they haven't received the product yet! Incredibly disappointed, I returned the product for a refund. I will be buying locally from now on and not feeding a massive corporate machine that has little regard for their customers.
I bought a printer which was identified to be faulty while setting up and immediately set up return, which brought only 2 options - using QR code or label with UPS.
Now, here comes the problem - amazon delivered printer without a brown box, just in the printer box. But, to return this - UPS needs the printer package to be in brown box and that costs about $18 to be paid by me(customer) to get my money back. This is bull$#*! - some genius in amazon decided not send packages in brown boxes for whatever reason - now that might have damaged this printer and costs money and time for me. I also wasted arguing with customer service for about one hour to no avail. Check the mail from amazon customer service in attachment.
Amazon has amazing customer service...I've had to call due to item damaged and their service representative fixed the issue fast and friendly! All products purchased hae been exactly as described and durable highly recommend Amazon to everyone.don't believe you could ever be disappointed!
Have you tired to contact customer support on Amazon and find you go in circles with links until you finally get to chat with agent?
I recently submitted a review for an item that was a scam. I bought a couch in canada from a seller who used an existing shipping track number to a product that was delivered in the USA.
My review was to worn other shoppers on Amazon so they did not fall for ads similar to this and Amazon blocked me from making reviews.
We apologize but Amazon is not accepting reviews on this product from this account. If you would like to contact us about this decision, please email *******@amazon.ca.
I GUESS Amazon promotes scammers to join there website and ripe off real people. Otherwise my review which was not wrong would have been posted.
The following is MY Review of Amazon Prime!:
Wire Shelf Clips, Wire Shelving Shelf Lock Clips 25 Pairs 50 Pieces for 3/4" Post, Shelving Sleeves
I needed this item to fix a Shelving Unit for my Grandchildren. I ordered the item on Saturday. Item was to be delivered the NEXT DAY (Sunday) per Amazon Prime. Item was not delivered on the NEXT DAY as per Amazon Prime advertised. Per Amazon Tracking: Product left the Amazon Facility in Oakley, CA., August 27th at 5:39AM and then the Product arrived at the Amazon Facility in Oakley, CA, at 2:51PM. Called Amazon and asked what was going on...Was informed that the product may not arrive until Wednesday or Thursday. I rechecked the Amazon Tracking System and found it saying I HAD AGREED TO RESCHEDULE the Delivery... While I was on the Phone! I informed them that was a LIE. After 3 times being put on hold by Amazon I decided to cancel the order and buy a new shelving unit locally. I also cancelled my Amazon Prime...This is my 3rd time trying out Amazon Prime...All 3 times, Amazon Prime did NOT Deliver as Advertised. As for the movies and games Amazon Prime has, well if you want to watch a New Movie or play the New Game Releases you have to still pay for them on Amazon Prime. Not worth it.
Amazon Supervisor spoke to me regarding my refund request. It was a long phone call with said supervisor; all went well upon ending phone call. He promised me my refund. Then he spoke to seller and changed his mind. I returned product asap, as it was given. I'm ENTITLED to change my mind and receive a REFUND. Unsure if I'll remain a customer.
I like Amazon better when they actually screen sellers. As of lately.the service is not good anymore
…and not in a good way. Recently received part of a larger order in which two cans arrived partially crushed. Their return/refund process has changed. Good luck getting a human to help you, first of all. Whatever is communicating with you from their side does not understand what you type in their poorly executed chat program. It will give you different versions of what to do. After being online "chatting" with two entities, I asked for a phone number…and had to repeat the request two or three times to get one. I called and got someone whose English was almost impossible to understand. I did exactly what this entity instructed me to do, which was to send a single image showing two damaged products plus my name, order number and date the photo had been requested. After several days, I requested a status update. After another day, I received a response that the picture was invalid because there was no visible damage. This entity gave me a different version on what I had to submit. Regardless of whether I receive the refund I am due, this will be my last Amazon order. It's time to take control and go back into brick-and-mortar stores. If you've had a similar experience, consider boycotting Amazon. Make a complaint to the BBB as well as to any and all consumer rights oversight agencies.
I've been a prime member since 2018 up till now. I recently cancelled do to how long it takes to get what we pay for. We pay for Prime, why does it take over 4-7 days (if it shows at all)to receive our packages. I will never understand. I'm so tired of hear " I'm sorry" from customer service with no better outcome on the next order. Mind you, the picture I posted with this was suppose to arrive on the 24th
I sent $185 in merchandise back 8/15 with confirmation and still no refund or update on the site Wow
I I ordered something that never came, so I asked for my money back, customer service made a call to the police department for some fake charges even though I have 20+ witnesses, plus CCTV proof as well as proof from the FTC under the consumer protection act of the lies of customer service, so I was forced to close my account.
Amazon are currently being investigated for selling fake cds dvds electricals. Food past used by date. Also investigated from online fraud. And charity fraud.
This company needs to just cut the shizz. 1st thing they need to do is top hiring these 3rd party companies that hire people that wont do their job. Just this week alone I have placed over 10 orders and over 50% of them didnt show when they supposed to or either didnt shw at all. When you call customer services they have no clue what happened. They first of all need to revamp there communication between the drivers, the company, and the customer serv reps to give a better understanding of what happens to people packages instead of training these reps to give some watered down excuse that u keep hearing over and over and over again. I had a package i order 8-20-23 that was supposed to be received the morning of 8-21-23 i later checked and it said couldnt get access to door, now what that means i have no idea because u can just ring the door bell at my house. It was out for delivery again the next day and came bck the same thing. Well I called and was givin the same info I already seen. Gave it another day and call back mid day that day to be told the item was damaged in transit. Well why does it say the driver can not get access. I have items now that were supposed to have been here yesterday and they still arent showing any movement. Again they need to cut the prime until they can figure out a way to maximize on it instead of giving people excuses after excuses..
I ordered a laboratory notebook and had it shipped to my door. When it arrived at my building, the local Amazon delivery guy stuck it in the delivery boxes downstairs. At no time was I given any kind of code to be able to get into it. After 10 days of trying to be able to access the notebook, I had to go ahead and purchase one at the bookstore. The $31 has never been refunded.
Bought an item for a military neighbor, I have an Amazon account, but he doesn't. He got activated and never got to using the product, Now the product doesn't work and we are at 34 days out and Amazon won't take it back...Never had this problem at Costco for Military families.guess Amazon doesn't support the troops
Amazon is by far the most incompetent delivery service. They refuse to retain all meaningful delivery policies. My drivers don't knock, hide packages safely, respond appropriately or even attempt to complete deliveries. They removed interaction between delivery drivers and customers to fill quotas. Why this was implemented baffles me yet I still fail to receive more than a photo of a clearly incomplete delivery and lackluster attempts to ensure packages are safe until received.
Amazon sucks! The driver delivered my package to the wrong address and it was stolen! You ruined everything I had planned.
Intelcom is a bloody nightmare Amazon. All I can say is stop using them and hire more Amazon drivers or find a better company than Intelcom. Failure to do so WILL result in you losing many good and frequent Amazon customers. Temu is becoming a much better service, even Canada Post brought my Temu package right to my suite door, as instructed. If Amazon doesn't fix all this, I will be one of many I know that will stop using Amazon. People that pay for a Prime membership (which isn't cheap anymore) expect proper customer service from start to finish. Get your crap together!
Customer service has gotten worse over the years. They are not truthful to their customers. This company needs to do better. They hired anybody to work for them. I'm always shopping with them and just as others said—Prime is a total waste and I am thinking about canceling soon. A class action need to be started for unfair treatment.
I've lived at my current address over 4-1/2 years. Until 2-3 months ago delivery services were great UNTIL August 6th when the driver REFUSED to deliver my order due to a 4 pound dog barking at him! See pics. I've called 5 times to complain, get an apology and assurance this will NOT happen again and Amazon Logistics will NOT speak with me or address this issue. That driver needs to be reassigned to a more appropriate job. I've dropped Prime and am using Walmart. That dog ran up to the Walmart delivery guy last week wagging his tail and licking his shoes!
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
