They are NOT your advocate. I spent HOURS on the phone. I returned item with Amazon. I had screenshots, emails and tracking number proving that Amazon received the return. Amazon website tracks return. Amazon was HORRIBLE and claims they didn't receive although their own website, customer service emails and tracking PROVES they did. Credit card charged me back although I can SHOW screen shots of returned item where Amazon SAYS I am due the refund. Crazy! Not done after a month and a half! I sent in 12 screenshots to Capital One and then Nick, Morgan and Alvin tell me that I have to submit new case number. The old case number for which I sent paperwork-that THEY sent me- isn't the right case number! I have to submit all over again! Use another company! I still don't have credit!

Ordered merchandise a month ago. Wrong item shipped, and I contacted Amazon, who said they would contact the seller for a refund. I have talked to Amazon four times and they have tried to contact the seller to get them to contact me. This has happened numerous times and they have tried this stunt for the third time today. The seller will not contact me for a return of the wrong merchandise, and Amazon keeps asking me to fill our another form to start the process over. This has been going on for a month. I'm ready to simply throw the merchandise away, lose the money, bur Amazon will ger no business form me for the rest of my life. Tired of a charade lasting over a month.

Late delivery

Amazon prime more and more times do not arrive as advertised. This has happened to me more than once. Today I received notice that my order would arrive before 8 or 10 pm depending what you read or what customer service claims. My package is currently tied up in an Amazon facility in Kentucky. I live in the Cleveland area. It is now 1500 local. There is no way that package will arrive today
When I called amazon they gave me some weak excuse saying the package is still due to arrive today but if it doesn't it will within 2 or 3 days. This is simply unacceptable service for something you pay for faster delivery. Amazon prime is really become very disappointing. I will probably start purchasing from local brick and mortar stores instead. I rated their service with 1 star but 0 star on this service is closer to the truth⁷

I have been using Amazon for the past few years. The products are prices are reasonable. Delivery is usually excellent, often times delivered earlier than expected.
But I have recently become aware that at least 90% of their products come from China. Therefore a good portion of the money I spend on Amazon goes to support Chinese workers instead of American workers. I can remember seeing a bumper sticker approximately 40 years ago that said" Buy American. The job you save might be your own." I would rather buy American made products than foreign made.

I HAD an Amazon Prime YEARLY account for many, many years. I started receiving additional Amazon Prime MONTHLY charges of $16.30/month. I had to reach out to Amazon 4-5 months in a row as someone was using a similar email and my credit card each month - the FRAUDulent person had more rights than I did. The charges came the next month after thinking it was resolved. Then the next month. Then the next month for 4-5 months. The charges were reversed by Amazon AFTER talking with Amazon many times at up to 60 minutes each time. I had to change my credit card 2 times as the charge carried over to my new credit card. Finally, I had to block my credit card. I'm assuming it's taken care of now. This has taken me countless hours to resolve between talking with Amazon, changing my credit card multiple times, setting up new credit card payments and more. There doesn't seem to be any pursuit of the FRAUDulent person by Amazon. I was a huge Amazon fan until this time. The resolution has been painful and frustrating. I'm not entirely sure that this card hasn't been used for payments of products that went to someone else. Amazon - protecting FRAUDulent people over long-term customers is a poor business practice.

Customers don't matter

They just simply cancelled my order, not an apology or anything. Just an email three hours after the delivery slot saying your order is cancelled. No apology nothing. Unreliable and useless. I have been prime customer for over 15
years and not a message or anything. They are going downhill really fast.

Theft by deception

Locked me out of my account canceled my order and give me the run around they now they have 55 dollars of my monies. This is the fist and last time I'll use amazon. You would be wise not to use amazon.

I bought the dress from Amazon and I returned the item I got refunded within 3 weeks but after two half months, the third-party vendor took the refund money from my account. I called three times and so far no help even though I have proof of UPS returned items.

I have attempted to order several large bulky items that would come with professional assembly. The first couple of times the orders were cancelled by Amazon claiming package was damaged and undeliverable. So i switched to ordering completely assembled products, a lot more pricey. I ordered one bookcase at $600 for delivery in house unpacking and haul off of packing materials. That was cancelled by Amazon but they didn't let me know or refund the money until I made several phone calls then they claimed once again undelverable because of damage during shipping. I then odered 3 of the same bookcases for same type of scheduled delivery for August 24th. Within 15 minutes amazon changed delivery type to threshold and delivery date to August 31st. Well I only received 2 of the 3 and 1 of them was damaged. What happened to Amazon? I use to order everything from them from toliet paper to tvs. They block my reviews from public.

I've been shopping with Amazon for i dont know how many years. But lately it's been lackluster. I'm seriously considering discontinuing shopping Amazon altogether. It's become SUCH a pain. Shipments have been ok. Most of my issues are with customer service and returns. Because they deal with so many third party sellers now I've had to return items, wait for a refund and hope to find the same price on the item I ordered. Back in the day they'd do an exchange and simply gave you send the item back.
My biggest gripe currently… I returned a Try Before You Buy item on 7/31. Mind you, it was in the same box with 3 other items from the order. 1 of the 4 was not scanned in (per Amazon). I received an email saying, "did you forget to return". I called and was told it was resolved (it shows as shipped and delivered on 8/2 but not scanned in by the warehouse). 3 weeks later I was charged. UGH! I called back and was told nothing could be done until 8/31. I called back AGAIN on 9/1 and i'm now told I have to fill out a form for it to be investigated. WHAT! Per AMAZON it shows delivered! Why do I need to be involved in your review process. I just want my refund. Simply insane and super frustrating to me. I will NEVER use Try Before You Buy again.
And since I've had issues with other items shipped back not being received and customer service being little help, I'm feeling like I don't want to deal with Amazon at all anymore.

I bought some seeds, put it on the ground and watered it for weeks and nothing showed up. Called and spent over 2 hours total with several customer service people and still cannot get a refund back! Don't ever buy seeds from Amazon again!

I pay for Amazon prime to speed up delivery. For last several months now it takes at least a week just to ship, some cases longer I live out of country but ship forward is Miami...so add at least another 4 days to reach me...this is unacceptable, why am I paying for prime if it takes that long just to ship? Again this is in the last few months.

So, my dog gets prescription food delivered every month by chewy, I work at Amazon so I thought why not switch retailers because her vet changed her food. I had a paper prescription because it's hard to get a hold of Luna's Dr so it took literally hours to find out where to upload this prescription, then I call on a Sunday to find out why is this order still pending when they already have a copy of the prescription and I get put on hold only to be told that the department was closed. I called the next day, I'm told that the department is opened 24/7, to hold on that they would transfer me, 44 min later and having spoken to a manager, still can't speak to the right person! It's unacceptable! I cancelled and went back to chewy and In one day my order was shipped and on it's way. I have only had one problem with Amazon but it was a big one!
