She is so far away from North America that she doesn't care. She considers her behaviour acceptable to customers as her agent Jasper was exactly the same unapologetic for any mishap. It's just that wrong items get sent all the time and the company doesn't care...
Placed an order, redeeming a $40.00 Amazon gift card. After entering the gift card code, Amazon required an "alternate payment method" with a debit/credit card, so I couldn't check out. I don't have a credit card, and I'm not comfortable providing Amazon my debit card information, however. Called customer service, but they couldn't resolve the problem. In the meantime, by using a deceptive method, Amazon has hijacked my $40.00. Amazon is "DISGUSTING!" And if mere words could really make wishes come true, Amazon would cease to exist...POOF!

The card that gets charged for my amazon prime membership expired and I had unfortunately not updated it to the new card in time, so instead of amazon contacting me by phone or email, they charged a random card that I had used to purchase something a long time ago. That card is linked to a checking account I don't really use anymore so I was overdrafted and got a $30 overdraft fee from the bank. The bank wouldn't refund since the prime charge was legitimate so I went on to amazon's online customer service chat to see if they could help. One woman passed me to a supervisor named Fatima. Fatima apologized and said that she would refund August's charge to the card that shouldn't have been used and to make up for the $30 bank fee, she would refund me for June and July's charges as well. Obviously I was at that point a happy customer, until... Two weeks later and not one refund had been received. So I call this time, instead of using the online chat. I don't know the name of the man I talked to, but after placing me on hold twice, he lets me know that even though HE COULD SEE the convo I had with Fatima, he couldn't honor her promise because it was "against policy". I can't believe he was able to see the convo I had where a supervisor stated that she'd refund me and was still unwilling to resolve the issue. I was so disgusted I cancelled my account with them. Honestly, I hardly watch anything on prime video nor do I really order anything anymore, so my membership won't be missed. That company doesn't deserve a single dime from anyone if that's how it's going to operate.
Benefits of Prime membership have been cut, especially with Amazon Music and Prime video. You used to be able to download music to your phone and play offline as long as you logged in every month (great for deployments) to verify your status, now you have to pay an extra $15 for Amazon Music Unlimited just to be able to listen to music while flying or offline. Prime video was 90% free and now its 10% free/90% pay for subscription or have adds. Prime delivery used to be 2 day guarantee, now its "expedited".
The quality of content on this site has dropped exponentially since 2019. Granted... I can't think of one good show or movie that has come out since COVID that was decent unless it was pulled from a decent book. The quality of their "Amazon Original" content isn't worth the price.
I called Amazon direct when I was deployed overseas to have my account deactivated before the renewal. I was unable to access the account to do so myself due to country limitations, Amazon agreed verbally but continued to charge me. Never cancelled my account. Now on their app I can cancel (which I did) but I am stuck with this crap service for another 6 months because they no longer offer prorated cancellation.
Biggest red flag in the world, try reviewing Amazon Service itself on their website. You cannot. They do not allow it. Proof these greedy bastards don't deserve your money or your trust as a company. Also took me about 1hr to find a place that would allow legit reviews without signing up for their site.

I don't like leaving negative reviews but I am tired of Amazon sending me the wrong product that I didn't order it's happened morning three times. The packaging department needs to do a better job and the delivery drivers also it's upsetting when you are expecting something and you don't get what you paid for and that makes the process even longer if you pay for Amazon Prime they need to respect it and do a better job for their customers.When ordering from Etsy I've never had this issue!
I cannot count how many times they've offered next day delivery and every time I've ordered within the time frame and with a purchase amount to meet the "requirements" and not once has any of it been delivered next day. Not once. Do not fall for it. And it appears some of their drivers are either illiterate or just lazy or both. I order all the time from Amazon because it is convenient but Temu offers much better deals and even though the shipping takes longer, they don't lie about that and you get a credit if it's late. Watch your back Amazon.
On aug.31 2023 I attempted to buy an amazon GC Through a Google link. They declined for fraud suspicion but still charged my credit card. GC says Amazon. Charge on my card says Amazon. The claim link doesn't work but they charged me. I called 6 days in a row speaking to 12 agents who never connected me to the fraud dept. Calling Google is a joke. Look at Amazon's third party platform ratings.
First of all, Amazon refused to accept my review on their own website because they didn't like what I posted even though it's from my own experience just that it was negative. And why should I not complain if the Amazon warehouse shipping department decided to save some of their time and just slap on a delivery label on my order?! They chose to send my order 'as is' without any protective box. It was an item of clothing that came in its own plastic bag. So the lazy Amazon clerk who handled my order decided to save his/her time and just paste the delivery label on the plastic bag. This person could have cared less if my item was not just unprotected but any and all could see what I ordered! And worse the Amazon customer service decided to not allow me to rate them negatively since they do not like the comments! All I can say is if one decides to order from Amazon just be aware that the shipping dept. could care less how they send one's orders for delivery.

The Amazon website is simple to search a whole lot of catalogue on planet earth but they simply lack the capabilities to improve on their technology which a startup website Pillyrig.com is now doing their job and bridging the gap. It is not about fast delivery but how well we benefit from the services. Amazon.com should learn from these new startups and create partnership with these brilliant companies in order for the website to stay ahead of the game.

As a Amazon prime member i get to take advantage of many perks, amongst them is what they call the A to Z guarantee wich means if my item does not arrive on time i can get a no questions asked refund the following day. So i ordered a battery for my granddaughter's scooter and it was suppose to arrive on august 23 approx. Wich means if it doesnt arrive by the 24th i can get a refund so on aug 23 rd the status of my package changes to sorry you package is now arriving on sept 9th,wich means that on the tenth i can get a refund but on sept 9 th my status changes to ( your package is now arriving on sept 14 th and if it doesnt arrive by the 15 th i can get a refund, so ya see there really is no refund because they keep changing the date and the guarantee time, ive spoken to customer service explaining that i should have been refunded on the 24 th but they wanted me to contact the seller in wich i did and todays message read please wait six more days and contact us if you havent received your item and that means sept 17th i can send them a message so they can have me wait again so that guarantee means wait till you get your item cause were not ever gonna refund you.
Too many LIES. Incorrect GPS, no concern for delivery, manipulating the reviews chosen to post, and ILLEGAL CHARGES FOR ALREADY RETURNED ITEMS.
I order from them every single day but now have emptied my cart and canceled subscriptions. I agree with others that say they will not allow the truth in the reviews which is wicked and misleading. Charging me 5 x for already returned items is actually ILLEGAL.

I pay yearly for prime but a quarter of my orders just dont get delivered until next day after it is suppose to be here. WHY DO I PAY FOR PRIME? Customer service in Manatee county florida is opathetic and amazon is showing itself to fit right in. Why if its late dont they atleast try to get it to you next day morning. This is rediculous.
Amazon took my $139 membership and I put a $400 Gift certificate that was given to me on the Amazon account. Then Amazon locked me out of the account and will NOT talk to me or explain why this action has been taken. When I call I am told to email Amazon to which I have done repeatedly and no response, I believe they think I will pay the membership fee again and open another account they are wrong. I made an order September 7 about 8@ for 2 small items and was told my delivery date was September 7 in between 5pm-10pm never got my packages and Amazon took my money for the order and I haven't received anything and now they bull $#*! and try and change my date to the next day he'll no you took my money today and I don't have my stuff Amazon is the worst place you can or could order from and honestly they should be put out of business and I will not and won't recommend them or there services or anything that they offer Amazon doesn't deserve to be a company.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
