If you buy one of those Amazon Alexa music devices, Amazon will automatically begin charging your credit card for a music subscription without your authorization and they will do this over and over. They will charge any credit card you have saved with Amazon. What a terrible scam this is. They rip off their customers.
These folks are truly an evil empire. Once you subscribe it is almost impossible to unsubscribe. Google " how to unsubscribe from Amazon prime" for more details. This is what happens when a business becomes a monopoly. They do whatever they want.
I was told in two days I would receive my reward and I did and with no issues at all. I was happy with the process use it right away.
Amazon delivers items to the wrong address, delays delivery, damages items during shipping, and loses deliveries.
There are two distinct patterns related to Amazon deliveries:
1. Most are delivered to the right address with random deliveries to the wrong address.
2. Clusters of multiple deliveries to the incorrect address over the course of 2-6 weeks.
When there are repeated errors with deliveries, Amazon blames the consumer, asks them to update their delivery information (even though it's correct), denies refunds, and tells consumers they must file police reports, and provide that information, to be considered for a refund. It is my understanding, they will still deny a refund, which seems wrong.
Amazon has asked me to return items for a refund on items I never received.
Today I was told I had to file a police report about stolen packages, however, I have proof these packages were delivered to the wrong location, which is not the same as having them stolen. Filing a false report of theft is a Class A misdemeanor and I'm not willing to commit a crime because Amazon delivered several packages to the wrong address.
They say based on 'their investigation' and my response, the items were stolen, unless they see my ring camera, which shows no packages, it seems their investigation is incomplete.
Brought lithium battery, next day burnt me and harley up. Had fire department and police Called 3 times, made me write and send a letter in. Kept saying i was going to be reimbursed. 2 months later told me to call the Chinese company. Takes no returns tell you to video items to waste time. Does not care or respect the customer. Amazon you suck
Because Amazon is so vast you can find pretty much anything you need on their website. To that end I was looking for a way to avoid slipping and sliding on the inevitable ice sheets we get each year in New England. While browsing the Amazon site I found what I was looking for "car tire studs" Normally used in vehicle tires to help cars keep a grip in icy road surfaces and just the thing I needed to help me keep my balance. I had a new pair of boots also from Amazon that have very thick soles which would easily take the 12mm stud length. The result you can see in the picture attached to this review. Now I just have to wait a few weeks to test them out!
Update 10-26-2022
Things are changing at Amazon and not in a good way. As I state below I have been a satisfied customer of Amazons since 1999 placing an average of 200 orders per year. Lately I have noticed some very strange and unacceptable changes in Amazons policies, changes that seem to be being keep secret. First the free return of some items faulty or otherwise will now incur a UPS pickup charge of $7.99. This seems to apply to small electrical goods like computer mice or light switches not larger items. They also give an option to drop off your return at a local drop point which in my case is some 34 miles away. The cost of gas in most cases would exceed the cost of these small electrical items. So much for free delivery and return as noted on all these items Amazon listings. As a Prime member I object to this charge especially as items I return are almost exclusively faulty!
Next we have the strange case of missing reviews. It seems like Amazon is aggressively censoring reviews even 5 Star reviews, which are being withheld without reason or notification. I recently sent in a 5 Star review with a video and images, after 5 days I had not heard back from Amazon and decided to resend the review. When I tried to resend I was redirected to a page which basically said we are not accepting reviews on this product from this e-mail address? I re checked my submission and could find absolutely zero reasons for my review to be declined, no watermarks or links to sites no bad words only a glowing report on a great product. I contacted Amazon via the supplied e-mail link and after 3 weeks no reply. A customer service agent gave me another e-mail to try and again no reply as to why this review has been declined. Now while I 100% agree Amazon has the absolute right to decline reviews I believe it would be in their interest to educate customers as to why these things happen. Instead reviews like this tend to proliferate the web.
I have a third issue regarding seller reviews and how Amazon keeps sellers from getting bad reviews by taking responsibility for delivery, but that will necessitate a much longer review at a later date.
Original review
I have been using Amazon since 1999 and rarely had cause for complaint. Prices seem reasonable and product selection is second to none. Most of my YouTube videos which are about 3D printing, woodworking and airbrushing have some or all of the materials purchased from Amazon. Whenever i do a remodel project i search Amazon for furniture or as in my most recent kitchen update, appliances. Sadly living in New England presents delivery issues which makes being a member of Prime pretty much useless (most delivery take more than 4 days with Prime). Other than that i find Amazon to be an excellent company to deal with.
2 day shipping is now a week or more. The last 1/2 dozen times I bought from amazon prime, my order was supposed to arrive in 2 days but took a week or longer. If it wasn't for the free shipping and shopping for the holidays I would close prime. They raised the price and are doing worse.
So we received an Amazon order today that my daughter ordered yesterday and the package had been open and the product had clearly been used. This is not the first time I have received used merchandise from Amazon. Is anyone else having this issue? This is ridiculous and very unsanitary.
So I was looking at TV's on Amazon the other day and they gave me the option to do a 12 month payment plan of $63. Then whenever it was due for them to s***, they tried to charge me the whole price. So if I'm doing something on a payment plan? Then why do I have the money to pay it all the way up front? And how is that a monthly payment? These people are f****** asinine
My account was shut down on sept 22 "for my protection, due to suspicious activity" to which they can not give me an explanation. I've called every other day with the response of we are escalating your appeal and will return an email to you within 6 hours! I still have no answer and no account, it's been 10 days!
I join Prime / amazon subscriptions but i was not told that a there was charge
i was just looking to buy something that i never bought it anyway and later noticed this charge of $9.99 on my credit statement i checked to see they had been doing this for months
I spoke to amazon customer care and told them of the situation and asked for them to cancel it and reimburse me my money and they agreed the following month again another monthly charge plus no reimbursement Gees i Hate That when these big companies help themselves to your credit card
I again CS got it cancelled this time i asked them to send the confirmation it to my email which they did
Then the hard part was to cancel altogether my amazon account now i know why i had cancelled 15 years earlier there's no going back thew!
Worst online order company that I have ever dealt with!
I called over 100 times trying to get a refund for items not received, and they make so many excuses why cannot issue me a refund immediately and that I must wait til 25th.
That is what I get for paying expedited shipping for my items.
Beware, do not pay extra for shipping as Amazon Scammers will make you wait regardless. Makes no difference.
Amazons shipping is a scam!
I've had some bad experiences with past orders. One with damaged item, was purchased for a birthday gift.
The last 2 orders have been disappointing- I have had to return via UPS and not KOHLS -
Nike shoes and paper towels
Had to buy an envelope to mail the shoes and print out labels - is this the NEW return policy - have never faced that for the 3 years I have had Prime - might have to cancel Amazon!
Amazon consistently doesn't seem to know what it's doing in regards to delivery to rural areas. It's the Walmart of the web. Where as WalMart hire anyone who has a pulse, Amazon just plainly doesn't understand about life outside of town. Announced delivery dates are 88% wrong, sometimes by 3 or 4 days. Online customer service is a joke since it's farmed out to India or Pakistan. Those people are really trying hard but don't understand the dynamics of rural life in the USA.
I ordered a pair of wireless headphones from this website and I am very happy with my purchase. The headphones arrived on time, in good condition, and with all the accessories included. The sound quality is excellent, the battery life is long, and the design is sleek and comfortable. The website was easy to navigate, the checkout process was smooth, and the customer service was responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this website to anyone looking for quality products at reasonable prices. This is one of the best online shopping experiences I have ever had.
I love amazon, always on time, profession custumer service, fast refunds. Its my preferred place to shop online.

I have been using Amazon prime for 7 years with on major problems my last order I got a notification saying order was delayed that was the last and only notification I got. The next day I canceled order and was notified it was going to take 3 to 5 days to get refund I CANCELED AMAZON PRIME
I have no problems with Amazon in general, but can't understand why an item that comes FROM Amazon has to go all over the country before coming to me. Example: I'm in Mass. An item that I bought went from an Amazon warehouse, ALSO in Mass., to Kansas, then to Texas, where it was turned over to USPS, which then brought it BACK to me in Mass.! Why couldn't folks at the warehouse in Mass. Have had it picked up by USPS THERE? I live 29 miles from the warehouse. Amazon sent it 1,768.2 miles to Dallas Texas, then back to me. Instead of using FUEL to send it 29 miles, fuel was used to send it a total of 3,536.4 miles! In addition to prolonging the delivery time, how is this good for the environment?
Really, I am surprised as the service was so good! What I ordered came so fast and though I did not like it I could send it back and the money were back on my account right in time, great! I will order again!
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
