December 21, 2023

I have ordered an item and paid in Amazon during their promotion period.
As a prime member have get better price on the product. But it has been more than a month the product is not delivered. It seems like Amazon giving fake offers and cheating costumers

I've had great service when ordering stuff from Amazon and in the past I've had no issue with their Customer Service but that was when I was able to talk to someone I could understand, that is someone that spoke clear English. Now it's like the same Asian guy whom I can barely understand. This last summer they activated a 2FA security measure I didn't use and ever since I've been unable to access my account because I don't have my old phone. You used to be able to fall back on your email to verify and re-access your account. Now you have to answer verbal security Qs and the guy enters As that you have little control over (meaning you don't know what he's entering) into their computer system and the last 4 or 5 times it's failed for me. The last time he said my account was no longer accessible. I've been so frustrated and am just pissed now. I've had the account for years.

Suppose I create a new account and something happens to my phone again? Anything can happen. You never know.Nevertheless, here I am still unable to access my acct.

I filed a complaint against Amazon for their excessive collection of my private personal information and for withholding over $800 in refunds. They are demanding a government-issued photo ID, driver's license, or passport before releasing my refund. I reviewed Amazon's latest Privacy and Information Collection Policy dated August 2023, and I found it to be an intrusive and excessive collection of data. They exchange and share data with third-party groups without any details on restrictions to their use, including financial information, addresses, contacts, internet service provider, IP address, login, email address, password, location of my device or computer, product searches, purchase history, content interaction information, and much more. This invasion of my privacy has gone beyond reason. The type of personal data collected by Amazon is beyond what government agencies like the IRS and Social Security Administration do. Amazon's demand for a photo ID to verify my identity is absurd, considering they justify their collection methods and type of data collection to prevent fraud and for verification purposes by following select internet and social interactions. Amazon has been collecting my personal information since 2010 when I made my first purchase on their platform. They have a full purchase history for this same timeframe. My shipping and billing addresses and the card/bank used in this purchase have been the same for the past three years. Therefore, I find their demand for further verification for returning my money to the same bank payment was made from to be unreasonable. I returned the items to Amazon four weeks ago, and they refunded a portion ($19) of the purchase several days after they refused to refund the $801. They threatened to keep my money if I did not provide them with a photo ID. This is an online retail service, not an in-person point of sale. The refund should go directly back to the bank the initial payment was made from. Amazon has not sent any notifications of changes and modifications to Policies as other companies courteously do, like PayPal, eBay, REI, Walmart, etc., with a list of the changes being made 30 days in advance. Their demands are abusive and intrusive into my personal information.
I made several attempts to accommodate but they remained obstinate threatening to keep my money. Will end all association with them and go back to regular online shopping without the convenience of one-stop shopping, won't be lazy any more;)

I am so tired of Amazon deleting all of the reviews I write. Most of them are positive, all are honest, based on my experience with the products and sellers. Yet, for some reason Amazon feels the need to delete them all saying I've gone against the company's community standards. I've read them again and again, I've violated no standards. What's the point of asking me to review products (literally emailing and asking) to block me from doing so or to delete them outright? This policy really needs some work.

Buy here and regret it. Used to be a reliable company, but now deliveries are hot or miss and they never tell you that the prodcut won't be delivered on time until after you have wasted all day waiting for it to be delivered. Then when you call customer service, they can't tell you where the product is or when or if it will ever be delivered. They also use ridiculous excuses like the waether slowed delivery when its sunnsy and 50 degrees outside. They should rename the compnay Scamazon.

Made one large purchase of several items, Amazon breaks it down in multiple orders which is very confusing and done this way to add extra fees I believe, than one order gets cancelled for whatever reason and I'm stuck waiting on a refund, can't just resend item have to go through the whole process of reordering and repaying, I will never use this company again!

Not only do some Amazon vendors charge more for their products while promoting "free shipping" (i.e., Hoka Shoes costing $225+ on Amazon, versus $180 on Hoka.com with free shipping!), the delivery process, especially from international vendors (who do not warehouse in the US) is NOT prime as it may take a month for the product to arrive! "Free," and "Prime" are seriously misrepresented on Amazon.

I live in an apartment complex which has an Amazon locker for deliveries. The Amazon deliverer logs the package into the locker and the apartment complex's mail system so that residents know they have a package to pickup. I got a pair of headphones that were delivered and that Amazon confirmed the delivery. The problem? The deliverer didn't log it into the apartment complex's system, meaning they have no record of it. I spent over a week trying to figure out what happened, but nothing came of it so I had to go through the "did not receive" process.
At first, I was told they'd send me a new package for free and that no further charges would apply. A day later, I was told I'd have to return the original package in 3 months or they'd charge me again. No one could tell me why I had to pay for it twice, why I was told I wouldn't be charged again, or where the original had ended up. I was told to return a package I didn't have and that it didn't matter that my apartment complex had no record of receiving the original package. I've been dealing with this mess for over 3 weeks.
Today someone from the apartment complex next to mine, so an entirely different apartment business not associated with mine, stopped by with the original package. Apparently, they'd been out of town for a few weeks and that's why they'd only just found my package. I'm grateful that this person returned it to me.
TL;DR: Amazon delivered my package to a different apartment complex, took no responsibility for their mistake despite confirmation that it wasn't delivered to my apartment complex, and will change their mind on charging you for their mistakes. No accountability, no respect, no consistency, no interest in providing even basic customer service.

I never joined Prime because if you don't but still select free shipping, it would only take a day or two longer.
I placed an order 11 days ago and only received 3 of the 12 items I ordered were delivered 8 days after ordering. The other 9 are due for delivery in 2 days or 13 days after I placed my order.
Seems they're in the business of forcing people to pay for Prime or it'll take 2 weeks to receive your items. They're so big now, their only interest is to screw people over.

Amazon makes shopping convenient and easy and it saves you money. You find/buy virtually anything on Amazon from car parts to food. I've found that prices are typically lower than any other site or store.
Save items to your wish list if you aren't ready to purchase and go back to it later and when you do purchase, it takes only seconds. Most items can be shipped for free under certain circumstances.
If there's ever a problem and you need to return something Amazon customer service is always there ready to assist.
Whenever I'm looking for something be it, something I use on a regular basis or a hard to find item, Amazon is my first stop. I may look at other sites to compare prices but I always end up back at Amazon.
Amazon is second to none!

Love shopping on Amazon bc you receive the products fast and the return policy is easy however for a while now I've noticed a problem in their review department. If something has good reviews when you read those reviews they are all actually about a whole different product. For instance, I was looking at a facial steamer but all the reviews where about a set of pots and pans... I've even contacted Amazon customer service multiple times but the problem still persists. Since I can't trust the reviews it makes my purchasing decision harder. I normally go on the Walmart app to check reviews before purchasing on Amazon.

Ordered an item from amazon only got half the order when i initially contacted them they sent a replacement which the magically got lost in the mail after requesting a refund they sent me a return label HOW CAN I RETURN WHAT I DONT HAVE!

They bounced to back and forth through customer service chat and phone calls and emails and requested i fill out an incident report with the details which is simply some plain text questions in an email no app or website site applications were used they then tell me my answers are incorrect and they can't issue a refind until corrected.

My issue is they know what the details of the order are why cant they fill out the incident report what do i work for amazon now? I still haven't gotten my item or my money back and customer service has continued to be terrible maybe hire some individuals that can speak and read english better and results would improve i feel there is a major translation and comprehension issue here.

AMAZON IS NOW AN OVER GLORIFIED CATALOG THAT I WILL ONLY USE FOR REFERENCE AND I WILL BE GOING DIRECT TO OTHER MERCHANTS TO MAKE FUTURE PURCHASES AMAZON WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER DIME FROM ME.

I am writing this review to share a recent experience with Amazon that has left me deeply disappointed and concerned. After purchasing a Panasonic camera, I discovered that it was missing an essential component - the battery charger. This led me to contact Amazon's customer service, where I expected a simple and straightforward resolution. However, what transpired was far from satisfactory.

My interaction with a customer service manager named Cris, based in the Philippines, was not only unhelpful but also deeply troubling. Cris's approach to handling my concern was evasive and unprofessional. The situation escalated to a point where, following my expressed dissatisfaction, I received a notification about "abnormal activity" on my account, which I believe was a retaliatory action.

This experience has raised serious concerns about the misuse of power within Amazon's customer service. The treatment I received was not just poor service; it bordered on tactics I would associate with organized crime - using intimidation and authority to suppress and control. As a customer of over 18 years, I am shocked and appalled.

I believe such behavior within Amazon's ranks is unacceptable and poses a significant risk to customer trust and loyalty. I urge Amazon to address this issue seriously and take necessary steps to ensure that no other customer experiences such treatment. Until then, my confidence in Amazon and my decision to continue as a customer remains uncertain.

When you have a problem it is purposely made difficult to talk to a person. You will keep getting sent to an automated chat where you go around in circles. I had to request a call 3 times to talk to someone. Once I was on hold and was disconnected. The last year or so there have been problems with the delivery service. There are always packages being delivered to the wrong places. Sometimes a kind neighbor will bring it to you sometimes not. This time I ordered a quanity of two of an item. One was delivered and online it says both are delivered. The package contained one instead of two. It was hell getting to talk to a person. Hopefully I won't be charged again for having the missing item re-ordered.
