Extremely bad quality and life of the auto parts. They only provide 60 days warranty which means that the customers will take a loss that normally doesn't occur with normal quality products. Customer care is unsatisfactory!
Bought headlights for a 2016 Rav 4. They physically fit but had 3 connectors that were completely wrong. Tried back and forth getting a refund online, was told I'd get an email back and never did. I had to email 1A directly to get a response. When I did I was then asked to take pics of all packaging, headlights, labels, etc and email. After I emailed them the response was that they didn't have that in stock, what? Can someone please read the emails? See below order and return info.

I ordered a condenser for my 2017 dodge challenger. The original is black as it shows through the grill and the color helps blend it into the facia and make it not noticeable. Their pictures clearly showed a black unit. I received a silver one. Well in TX u need the AC so beingbthat all ports matched I installed it but looks terrible from the front as it now looks like my car had some silver added to its teeth.
Sent an email to support. They say the are sorry and that it should have been black as shown on the site when ordered and to send pictures of the part and the part numbers of the box so they could escalate the issue. I did all that. No answer and on my follow up days later, they say u got the right part and installed so there's nothing we can do. In essence no honesty from these site. All pictures included high Def showed the item to match in ports and color to my car. But they sent me something else. And then tried to tell me.i ordered what I got! Infuriating.
I purchased some ignition parts - coil, control module, wires for my Chevy S-10. Would have paid more for AC/Delco parts, but they don't sell them. Needed in a hurry so decided to take a chance, even though there could be a high probability of issues with the ECU. Sure enough, the control module threw a P0351 code immediately upon installation. Put the old control module in and worked fine. Contacted 1A Auto for a return and after jumping though multiple hoops finally got a credit.
Installed the coil, which did not work - no spark at all, so put the old one back in and worked fine. Contacted them again, and after MORE hoops got no where as they seemed to be confused that it was a second return request on same order, and in their simple minds the first return resolved everything. Gave up trying to get a credit for the coil as my time is worth more than the $35 part, effort, and frustration it would take to get those knuckleheads to resolve the matter. I don't like to characterize people that way, but that's the impression they gave me.
So 1 star because delivery was relatively prompt, and you can't give negative stars or I would (-1)

Only reason I gave it a star is because I couldn't put none. I recently spent $160 on spark plugs and ignition coils.(purchased 6-29-23 "shipped" 6-30-23)(estimated delivery 7-6-23) and after it was shipped I put in for a refund I was going to send it back since I bought parts off Amazon. They had sent me emails that won't even let me select the part so I can't finish my return and it says only items available for refunds are purchased in the last 30 days so I'm guessing they are just gonna wait 30 days and tell me I'm sh*t out of luck. Well it's the 13th now and no refund or package. So I'm guessing it's a scam site so really no point in writing this, ig I'll just have to learn to verify sites before buying.
Purchased a complete break kit package front and rear rotors, pads and accessories. Installed the front rotors and pads and had an excessive noise with pulsation during stopping. After many times of removing the calipers and verifying proper installation and regreasing every point. I even purchased a front CV drive axle and determined the problem still existed. I had the rotors inspected and found they were warped and not balanced. I contacted 1A Auto and they refused to do anything about my problem due to the timing. I at this time do not recommend buying any critical drive components from 1A Auto.
Ordered front end suspension kit 10 part set and they would not warranty replacement said the shop would have to give print out of every part that was defective and why... The shop I went to is just a regular old school shop they don't give print outs of what's wrong they only tell you what the issue is. They were supposed to send an email that I was to attach the service document from the mechanic BUT THE MANAGER NEVER DID I CALLED BACK TO TO TELL THEM THEY NEVER SEND EMAIL TO MY SURPRISE THEY WERE CLOSED! I will never order parts from this place again.
I bought a pair of expensive headlights and paid a lot of money for extra fast shipping and they decided to cancel the order without even telling me. I received no confirmation of this and had to call multiple times just to get an answer, they also never gave me an actual reason why and I'm STILL waiting for my money to be returned. Do not use this company, they're AWFUL.
I don't typically write these, however, this warrants a review to warn other customers. I will never purchase another thing by this company - I bought brakes and rotors for $263 and my refund is that amount minus shipping costs. So I am losing out on $100. You are better off going to a local Auto Parts store or buy from a reputable company who offers free returns. I didn't even open any of the boxes. That was my experience with this company and never again.
Ordered a steering and suspension kit and was missing a sway bar end link. I sent a message to customer service and was contacted immediately. Stacey corrected the problem within 20 minutes of me receiving the package phenomenal customer service. Would highly recommended shopping here.
Ok so I literally got my Passenger side Cv axle replaced and used this Site and Not even 2 days bearings clicking.Everything was installed properly yet My Axle is Once again Clicking.
Box was damaged for one of my rear drum brakes. Upon further inspection, the metal dust cover for the bearing part was bent up. First time ordering from the website, it may be my last.
Received the cv-axle three days late. The cv joint cap was off of its housing, the joint had come apart inside, grease was everywhere. Started the return process, unbelievable, it goes into a loop! You fill it out, it says one final step, check your e-mail to confirm, well takes you back to what you just filled out! Then sends you back to your one final step! Stupid! Never again! Scammers!
Sucked-up my $150.00 loss, and went to O'Reillys
I had the misfortune of ordering parts from 1 A Auto, and it was a complete nightmare from start to finish. First of all, it took them weeks to even ship my order, despite promising fast delivery. When the parts finally arrived, they were broken and completely unusable. I immediately contacted their customer service team to try and return the parts, but that's when the real problems started.
Despite me providing proof that I had ordered the correct parts for my car, 1 A Auto accused me of having the wrong car altogether. They refused to believe that the broken parts they had sent me were their mistake, and instead tried to shift the blame onto me. It was a completely infuriating experience, and I wasted so much time trying to get them to take responsibility for their own errors.
To make matters worse, their customer service was terrible. I had to wait on hold for ages, and when I finally got through to someone, they were unhelpful and rude. It was clear that they didn't care about me or my order, and were just trying to brush me off and move on to the next customer.
Overall, I would strongly advise anyone considering using 1 A Auto to avoid them at all costs. They are completely incompetent and unreliable, and will waste your time and money. I regret ever ordering from them, and will never make that mistake again.
I would give them 0 stars if I could. I ordered $1200 worth of parts from them for my 2010 Odyssey EX-L in November 2022. However, then I had some life events take precedence & wasn't able to install the plugs & coil packs until March 2023. When I went to install them, I found both the plugs and packs were wrong -- they didn't fit in my vehicle. Since I had my car pulled apart, I went to AutoZone, who set me up with the correct parts. I contacted their customer service, who promptly refused to do anything to make it right, based solely on the fact that I was outside of the return window. They refused to consider the fact that they made a mistake in their order fulfillment. I will never buy anything from this company again.
I made a purchase and 5 minutes later cancelled. They told me they would delete the order, however next thing I know I get a email stating it's been shipped. So I call them back and they say they will reroute the order so I don't have to worry about it. Next thing it shows up at my door. Now they say I have to pay shipping which is $65 dollars and so I did this and now they say they never got it back which I gave them the tracking number. How do people like this stay in business? Insane
I bought front shocks for my Rav4 and had to replace them, they make you pay to ship the old parts back. I replaced my shocks again and now less then 3 months later I need to do it again. I only owned this for a year and 4 months. SAVE YOUR MONEY DONT'T BUY HERE
I do not recommend you buying nothing from this company. The parts are really cheap quality. I ordered some inner tie rods for my truck and they only lasted 2000 miles.
I ordered a door lock for my truck. Turns out, I didn't need it. Started a return and was immediately given a refund and told not to bother with returning the part. Probably wasn't worth as much as the shipping but still, that was pretty nice I didn't have to pay to ship it back.
Was very disappointed in the quality of parts that my husband and I purchased. We purchased a complete set of tire rods and wheel bearing for his 06 dodge ram. Not even a year past and his truck started roaring once again. Today after taking his truck to the mechanic we found out the wheel bearing need replacing again. Same mechanic which replaced the ones from A1 auto. Spent $200 with A1 and had to spend $500 today for parts and labor wish we had just gone this route instead of buying parts from your company. We want be ordering any more parts from your company. There not worth their value especially when you have to have replace the same parts that didn't even last a year.
