Terrible Quality Parts

I got ball joints for my 03 CR-V back in October and had them installed. Come to find out now the rubber that protects them is already cracking and ripping which was the whole point I replaced them. Only difference is the old ones were 20 years old and these are 4 months old. Called customer service to report my findings and ask for a refund and they basically said we can give you a new set which defeats the purpose. I would be calling back within half a year for the same problem! So basically I can't have my money but I can have another defective part. TRQ, Trusted (you can't trust them to give you good parts), Reliable ( you can't rely on good policies and customer service), and "quality" well that speaks for itself. First and last time buying from here. Other buyers beware!

Bad business

Ordered a start online for my 2008 Honda Odyssey and after placing my order I called to confirm that I was ordering the right part and they confirmed it was the right starter. Got the starter installed it and come to find out it was the wrong starter. Call back to tell them it was wrong and they pretty much said I have to eat it because I installed it. This company is a scam company. Buyer beware. Do not do business with them

Wrong part

Ordered a break kit for my 2013 Audi A4, did the front breaks just fine, had the back breaks broken down on one wheel and was going to put the new pads on when I noticed the anti vibration clips they sent looked nothing like the ones I pulled off, they were the wrong ones. Had no choice but to go to a local Audi dealer and get the correct clips as the ones I had pulled off were so rusted they cracked. When I complained and asked to be compensated for the locally sourced clips (which Audi charged $92.50 for) they just gave me the run around, saying there was no issue with the equipment they sent (even though I sent photos of the 2 clips side by side showing the difference). After complaining repeatedly they finally reimbursed me $22.07, will never do business with them again.

I ordered a suspension kit from them and it was missing an upper ball joint. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until the car was torn apart. I had to pick one up at the store so I could get the car running. I called them and they would only reimburse me for THEIR cost of the ball joint rather than what I had to pay for the part at the store. I even talked to a supervisor and they wouldn't budge. They lost a customer for life over $10!

Plus, these parts are very cheap and low quality. Good if you are fixing a car to sell it but not if you plan to drive it for a while. Spend a few more dollars and buy something that will last longer than a wet piece of paper.

I think 1 auto is a joke they want you to know the money your car is built. Bought struts put them on to fond out there wrong and know have to buy new one they won't even give me my money back so I think they suck

Defective Shock Absorber.

Ordered a set of shocks for my 2000 Frontier the front worked great, but 1 of the rear shocks was defective the rear spring was hitting the rubber bump stop when going over speed bumps. I called the most helpful customer service agent Shikitta? She sent me another set of shocks, but when I got the second set the same thing happened when going over speed bumps. 1A Auto refunded me 100% of my money and told me to keep the shocks. Wow 1A Auto is the best I buy parts from them and they have quality parts that are cheaper then places in Hawaii where I live and that includes shipping.

Best customer service!

Ok so I ordered a O2 sensor for my wife car and it made it to UPS pretty quick then from UPS when they dropped it off at USPS some how it got lost I waited and waited contacted customer service and they responded within 24hrs and they went ahead and sente a new one out right away. I really appreciated 1A handling it quickly. I would recommend them to anyone. The package getting lost was not their fault but they made sure I was satisfied! Thank you very much. I'll make sure I order through them. I may pay for UPS expedited to make sure it doesn't have to get dropped off at USPS have a great day

Do not buy from them. They sent a cheap Chinese knock off that was not even close to fitting. Wanted to charge me $17 for return shipping. Pay more for OEM parts. 1A auto is a rip off

Responsive customer service.

They don't offer much, but what they do, is costed very well.
Update:
They keep selling the door handles for a Nissan Titan. They don't fit. They lack enough plastic to alter a fit. I bought chrome, didn't fit. I bought black, didn't fit.
I wrote a review of product, but it never showed up. Wrote another one, they said thanks they already had my review in house. Because it seems they might not post bad reviews, I lowered my review to two stars.

I bought a replacement wheel hub for my 2006 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer and was shocked to have it shipped to me in just two days...Amazon doesn't even get here in under 4 days anymore and the shipping was FREE! The part was an excellent fit both for the hub and the brake cable connecting up the speed sensor. I was so nice to tear into the job and get it done, and 1A Auto even has top quality videos to walk you through the repair with tips and suggestions supplementing the basic instruction. Very positive experience this time, and every time! Thanks, 1A Auto!
