Flew into Malaga had booked transfer with Zip, Unfortunately disabled assistance in the airport were short staffed and we had to wait, A rep from Zip rang and I told them we were waiting to get help, a member of our party went and spoke to the driver, but they left us stranded with no refund given. This is despicable the way they treat paying customers I know I will never use them again nor will I recommend them to anyone else
Total scam, avoid
Total scam. We booked a transfer from Tenerife airport. The email and website says "a driver will be waiting for you with your name on a sign". No one was there despite waiting 15 minutes. There were 2 emergency numbers on the email. The first, in Barcelona hung up 3 times then blocked me. The second answered and told me to go to the taxi desk in the airport. There was no one there but after 10 minutes a very nice lady said that all the zip transfer customers had the same issue. 2 more couples arrived and we all had to go outside and que for a taxi.
This is just a scam. You will just be sent to the taxi so don't bother booking with them at a higher price.
I tried to leave a review on their site but you will notice that the facility doesn't exist which makes you question the amazing customer ratings on their site.
No apology or contact received despite complaining.

Nearly £800 later and we're in dispute with the firm and claiming back from the credit card company. Guy turned up late for pickup, could not read his own satnav on the trip to the resort, resulting in three of us having to direct him and prove that Google Maps knew a bit more than he did (he just kept wanting to go through a particular town even though the route was around it, so we went back and forth about four times through the same area, in complete opposition to the directions). But the best is yet to come...they did not turn up for the pickup to leave the country. Brilliant.
Had a massive row on the phone with them and the guy just kept repeating (rudely) that we were on our own since we "were a no-show". Incredible. Had been waiting there for fifteen minutes, no tyre tracks in the fresh snow on the apartment driveway (photos taken as proof), email proof from the apartment owner who had been out there for half an hour clearing snow from a different area and saw no vehicles arrive, phone logs screenshotted as proof that no call made to us until after we called them to find out where the driver was, a poor excuse given about the driver having been there 40 minutes BEFORE pickup due time (why would we even have been downstairs at that point?) so he turned around, blah blah blah.
Long and short - they couldn't find the resort on the way out and CBA to pick us up on the return. Even have an email confirming the pickup. Just didn't show. Upshot? Two more days added to the trip with additional expenses that these guys are now getting billed for.
Book someone else if you value your holiday.
*** HEED ADVICE - AVOID THIS COMPANY ***
ZipTransfers did not show for the pick up to transfer 2 families of 4 to the airport from Ortisei in Italy, resulting in a great deal of unnecessary missed-flight misery for both adults and children alike during the expensive half-term period.
ZipTransfers claimed we were a 'customer no-show' and yet the unspoilt snow leading to the address proves they fabricated circumstances. There was no call from ZipTransfers or the driver to try to locate us. They made no attempt to turn the driver round even though it was within a short period past the scheduled time when we called them. Basically they said 'good luck getting to airport'.
It appears evident no driver was ever sent for the pre-booked, confirmed and pre-paid transfer. What company would do this, leaving 2 families with young children without their transfer?
This is a dereliction of duty of care. I won't bore readers with the adventure and expense this experience created, suffice to say, you should think twice and read the other recent reviews before parting with your money.
I should add that a week prior I had to personally direct the driver to our holiday destination because he was unable to follow his sat-nav, turning a 2 hour journey into 3.5 hours.
If you are wise enough to read reviews, I'm sure you have sufficient information to take your business elsewhere.
HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE! I just used this service for the first time. As I travel alot I was hoping I could find a reliable, fair and safe transfer service to use regularly. I warn everyone now THIS IS NOT THE ONE YOU WANT.
Immediately when booking weeks before my trip I supplied my complete flight information and destination info.
My driver WAS NOT waiting for me on arrival. In fact he wasn't even at my Terminal.
When I tried contacting the company I got the run around. Eventually the driver called to tell me he was at a different terminal. However, he refused to come to the correct terminal and told us to come to him. We had luggage and suitcases and had to walk around for 20-30 minutes looking for him. Then once we found him he didn't even know where we were going. He spoke NO ENGLISH. This wouldn't have been an issue if he had followed the instructions we provided at tine of booking.
By the time we left the airport it was over an hour since we were first looking for him.
Due to this we missed a non refundable experience and are out over $100 plus despite the absolute appalling experience the company won't even give a refund. The refuse to take any responsibility for this experience and refuse to offer a reasonable solution.
For reference I took a taxi back to the airport and it was the same price. Timely, friendly and helpful and picked me up right outside my hotel and dropped me right in front of the terminal.
Do not use this company. I promise you this is not how you want your start a vacation!
This is a terrible company. Driver was more than 30 mins late with no communication. He turned up without any car seats we had ordered months in advance and drove dangerously despite having two babies on board without car seats. I contacted the company by email to ensure car seats for the return journey as we had ordered and to advise re driver's lateness and driving. I did so with the intention of cancelling the return journey if assurances couldn't be given. I received no response and had to call during my holiday. I was advised car seats could not be guaranteed despite having been paid for and they couldn't guarantee the driver wouldn't be late again or drive safely. I opted to cancel and book elsewhere and was advised I wouldn't get a refund as it was less than 48 hours notice (despite the email being days previous). They also have a policy you can't speak to a manager on the phone. Avoid.
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! They don't even deserve a star. I booked a child seat for my 8 month old son. The driver who collected us from Gran Canaria airport didn't have a seat for him and brought us to an office to choose one for him (there was only 1 suitable for him) and then I had to fit it myself! As I did so, the driver stood behind me at the door of the car making faces at my husband and indicating that I was going too slow. On the return pickup from the hotel, a different driver turned up and, you guessed it... no child seat. After crying on the phone to the helpline, they said they could refund me the cost of the child seat (€9). However, we had no other way to get to the airport or we would have missed our flight. Long story short, I was forced to carry my infant son on my lap from Play del Ingles to Las Palmas airport. This is by far the worst transfer company I have ever come across. They just give jobs to ramdon taxi drivers and don't even tell them that a child seat has been booked. I'd rather take the bus next time.
AVOID! Do not call them. We needed a ride from the airport at 1 am in Barcelona. Never had been before and didn't know our way around. Everyone else's pick up was there at the gate as they should be. Ours couldn't be found. We called and were told several times he was there and to wait. We waited.and waited. He didn't arrive for 40 minutes. That's an eternity after a long flight. Then we spent the next 10 minutes looking for his car because he got lost. If we had taken a taxi, we would have been in the hotel by the time he found us in the airport. It took him 40 minutes in the middle of the night with no traffic to get us to the hotel. It's a 16 minute drive normally. When he couldn't find the hotel, he tried to convince us a church was the hotel. Luckily we were able to show him where the hotel was. We didn't get to the hotel until 3 am. It was a nightmare. When I complained, they offered me 15% off our next ride. I wouldn't even take a free ride in the future. Terrible business
We arrived in Tenerife airport and were instructed to go to desk 14. On arrival there, there was no one to help us. We waited 15 minutes and still no one. I made two calls to Zip Transfers and eventually a representative turned up. I appreciate we were in Spain but the lady in question could not speak a word of English. So communication was none existent. During the calls three older ladies had turned up expecting their transfer. We were then marched down the airport and back to desk 14 luggage in hand still no taxi. We had been waiting 45 minutes by this time. The representative gestured for us all to follow her outside, we waited another 30 minutes still no transfer. By this time I just surrendered and walked to the taxi rank. Which with hindsight I should have done in the first place.
On my return journey I didn't expect Zip transfers to turn up. So I went to the hotel reception called a cab, by the the time I got outside the taxi was there.
That was 66 euro wasted on a specialist transfer company I will never see again. The taxis I used were cheaper as well. Lesson learnt.
Driver didn't show- Zip Transfers were unable to help, left me stranded at airport having to make my own way. Customer service in my experience was none existent and they cut off communication. They made error in booking driver and refused to take any responsibility at all. They take your money but are almost a scam company.
It's clearly stated that I booked and pay for a private taxi for 2 persons only. To my surprised this company failed to provide this service. Instead we are 6 adults and 1 child. The lady who assisted us informed us to take another taxi as they can not provide us a private taxi only for us.Its unacceptable and very unprofessional for them to treat their customer like this. They rest assured us that they can provide a service but unfortunately they didn't.
Excellent service supplied by friendly drivers. On time both ways; driver loaded all our luggage including a heavy wheelchair to our rented Villa and collection from a hotel in Majorca.
What I found with Zip was there excellent communications by email. Had replies to my inquiries in less than an hour. Would definitely use this service again. Thank you Zip for making our journey to and from airport so smooth
I used this company to book a 6 seater car from the airport in Tenerife to the villa we had, back in June, but not travelling until August. I keyed in the full postal address I was given and the website then gives you a drop down option of the local town to select. I chose Adeje as this is what was in the address. They came back with a price of €74 round trip, which felt on the high side but broadly aligned with expectation. We paid and confirmed this and didn't hear anything back until 2 days before we were due to fly, stating that they couldn't pick us up on the return trip from our villa and we had to walk 5 minutes down the road to a different location with our luggage. Not ideal but we had little choice. We got to the airport in Manchester at 4.30am waiting in the lounge for the 7am flight and by chance I checked my email. They had sent a further email saying that the location is wrong and the price is understated and wont be picking us up. Even though I said I selected the address of the villa they demanded a further €70 on top of the €74 already paid for what turned out to be an extra 2 minute journey. But with us not knowing we were not happy but trusted there local knowledge and assumed it was quite a difference away given such a large price increase. Having used taxis for the full holiday we did this additional trip daily and it was around €1-2 max extra and certainly not €70. We even asked local taxi firms and they said €25-30 max should be the cost from villa to airport and not €144 round trip that this company charged. I contacted them when I got home and flagged using maps how this must be an error and perhaps they had charged us twice in error. They blankly refused and said that was the price we had to pay and they would do nothing further in the matter. Please avoid this company at all costs and look elsewhere or use local taxis in Tenerife.
We were due yo be picked up at 14.05 I rang at 10 past. To be told that they forgot to put us on the system and had nothing free and said sorry we issue with a departure refund. That is it. So me and my family 6 of us just stood at the side of the road.
I went into the playa Maria apartments and spoke to reception and explained what had happened. She called them as they were not answering my calls. She said they will pay a taxi just get a receipt email it and they will pay it. She phoned for a taxi and we got to the airport and it cost less than Zip PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE COWBOYS
Do NOT use zip transfers! The lugages were delaied on the belt and the driver did not wait for us! It happened in Malaga. We were in the middle of the night with small children, the driver didn t wait 10 or 15 min more and we got no refund! The worst experience! Shame!
I used ZIPtransfers for about the 6th time last week. This time it was a pick up from Rome Airport and once again they didn't disappoint.
The driver was there when we arrived and was very friendly and polite.
I have booked them again for a trip in September, and have no hesitation in recommending them.

I booked transfer from Girona airport to hotel. The driver was waiting at airport with my name. Helped with luggage. Very good transfer.
Answer: Do not use this company- they are unreliable. They left my family stranded when driver didn't show because he was sent to the wrong destination. And have no back up mechanisms to sort problems out. They wash their hands of any responsibility- as per their terms and conditions. Their customer service is appalling and if they make a mistake and driver doesn't show- you are on your own completely.
