Late one night I stepped on my backup pair of glasses and broke them. I didn't have a lot of money and needed them very quickly as I was down to a broken pair I had glued together. Anyway, I got on Zenni and found the selection with 3 to 5 day shipping. I'm not even sure it had been 3 days when my glasses arrived. They fit great and while, they aren't my favorite they were the cheapest and fit my needs.
This is my 3rd pair I ordered from Zenni. The first two were super cute and I always received compliments on them. These I just bought for the fast shipping so they aren't as cute, but they are comfortable and durable. I like that you can order a pair very quickly or that if you want to pay a little less you can wait. Even ordering the faster ones they are still so much cheaper than going to the store and they come with a hard case.
I miss being able to try the glasses on my own face (virtually) and found the try-on feature didn't work most of the time, but the fast feature option to get my glasses in under a week is the very best!

I ordered a pair of glasses from this company. I ordered them online using the computer generating website. I paid extra for some small engravings on each side of the arms. When I opened the package, the engraving test WAS PURPLE! Certainly not what I ordered. I called customer service, only to be told that I must have made a silly mistake, as many people do this. I was never offered an option for a color for the text. After much frustration, patronizing, and being spoken to like a child from a "customer service representative", I was then told that I cannot have a full refund like I had asked for at this point. I was told that I could only receive half of my refund if I wanted it in cash, or 100% refund in store credit. What kind of scam is this? Now I have to take time out of my day and deal with this package to return with a shipping store. Not the end of the world, but I certainly will not be doing business with this company any further. Stay far far away from the bait of cheap prescription glasses this company tries to take advantage of people with, as well as their ridiculous return policy and customer service experience. I will be passing my experience with this company along to the better business bureau as well.

I was scammed. Explanation below:
I found a pair of sunglasses that looked nice. Then I proceeded to sign up because I always like to have an account when purchasing online.
I paid using Apple Pay and sent the sunglasses to my work address. I didn't take a screenshot of my order number because most online stores send an email when an order is created.
A day later I proceed to log into my account to check whether there's a tracking number ready and the site rejects my password. Using the "Forgot my password" link does nothing as it doesn't acknowledge my email as a valid account email.
Support was next to useless. I can describe exactly the item I paid for (apart from the model number), including the prescription, color of the frame and lens coating. I provided my delivery address also. I can even provide the exact time the money was deducted from my bank account and the approximate time of creation of the account. Yet they can't find me in the system.
Currently I'm waiting for the financial department of Zenni to (probably) tell me they can't find any such transaction in their system. I'd only like to know: was I scammed by a human or is their system programmed to routinely scam people like that?

This site has a great selection of frames at a great price. I own two Zenni progressives with transitions. Their virtual try on tool is the best online and accurate. They are good with making your prescription to your needs well. Just had your PD correct! What they cut corners on is their selection of Transitions. They ONLY carry Signature 7s. I thought they were totally discontinued in favor of the Sig 8s. Apparently they still make the 7s for Zenni. They fall short of the newer 8s and Xtractive. You can get them on Payne for about the same price as the 7s. Payne's selection is more limited than Zenni, but still good. Zenni is a good place but not for Transitions, until they decide to modernize their choices!
My Optometrist told me not to buy from them... I thought, yeah, you just want to make a buck off me. Jeez was she right. This is the worst buying experience I have had in a long time. It took me almost an hour just to get a return number and then it was not a return, but an "Inspection" only to see if they make the lenses incorrectly. I can tell you the lenses are wrong because they hurt my eyes as soon as I put them on! Do yourself a favor and buy from your local doctor.

Ordered a tortoiseshell frame a year later because I bent the original frame. Left eye has no tortoiseshell design on the new pair and they want me to pay shipping to return and reorder and wait another couple weeks. Essentially if they make a mistake, the customer will deal with the burden to correct it. I attached 3 pictures. 1 is of the old pair and look great, 1 is of the picture online, and 1 is of the new pair that is extremely inconsistent to previous order and picture online.

I contacted customer service via online chat and explained my reason for return and I was told I would receive 100% credit that could be applied to my reorder. I followed the return instructions given and kept track via USPS and the transaction went smoothly without any glitches.

Progressive lenses contain three viewing areas: distance-, intermediate-, and near-vision - the distance vision area is near the top of the lens, the near vision area is at the bottom, and the intermediate vision area is in the middle. The clear viewing area is located in the central "corridor" of the lenses, so there can be a noticeable but expected blur when looking toward the edges of the lenses. Due to this design, and because there are slight differences between progressive lenses across brands, someone new to wearing progressive lenses may initially experience some difficulty adjusting to them; likewise, someone who is already accustomed to wearing one brand of progressive lenses may have some difficulty adjusting if they switch to a different brand, and they will find that it it will take some time to become accustomed to the new lenses.
