Bad quality

Bought sport glass. Frame was broken less than one year. I cannot get a replacement part I need. Asked me to buy the whole set. Do not buy from them if you want to good quality product and support. L

Thank you for posting your Zenni review of the sport glasses frame you ordered from us on July 21,2021, full-rim, plastic, translucent and black frame 708223, with a frame width of 145 millimeters, which we are sorry to confirm is now discontinued, and which we were sorry to learn broke. Consequently, we apologize for any dissatisfaction you experienced as a result. We want to advise that our frames have a 30-day warranty period, which starts the day the glasses are delivered. Therefore, if a customer reports that a frame has broken beyond that timeframe, we recommend that the customer place a new order for the same frame with nonprescription lenses, and when the customer receives the new nonprescription eyeglasses, the customer may remove the prescription lenses from the broken frame and remove the nonprescription lenses from the new frame and install the prescription lenses in the new frame. Here is a how-to video, How to Replace Lenses in a Full-Rim Frame (https://www.zennioptical.com/c/how-to#howto-replace-fullrim), which provides instructions explaining the lens-swapping process. In this case, since frame 708223 is no longer available, we hope that you will place a new order for a pair of eyeglasses in a new sport frame.

Please due your research, these glasses are the lowest quality and their refund policy is a joke. They pretend to send it to their lab to check the lenses (even though I took it the glasses to my optometrist) and the prescription was wrong as they manufactured them. Then the only thing they offer you is either a store credit (so you can keep buying the crappy made glasses), or 50% of your money, which means they made 50% profit and you have nothing in exchange. SCAMMERS! - Got to EyeBuyDirect and save yourself the fake reviews and raves online.

Thank you for posting your Zenni review of your experience ordering standard progressive eyeglasses from us with gray photochromic (light-sensitive, auto-tinting) lenses and our Blokz® blue-light-blocking feature. We were sorry to learn that your first order, o4696929229, was placed with incorrect, plus values on the Cylinders, whereas the prescription you subsequently provided calls for minus values on the Cylinders. For this order, you chose full-rim, cat-eye, acetate, spring-hinged, ivory tortoiseshell frame 4437939, with a frame width of 131 millimeters. You returned these eyeglasses to us for a 100 percent refund of their price in the form of store credit to your Zenni account, and you used this store credit to pay for most of your next order, o4697470344, for another pair of standard progressive eyeglasses with gray photochromic lenses and Blokz®, in full-rim, cat-eye, flexible-plastic, spring-hinged, blush tortoiseshell frame 2030019, with a frame width of 136 mm. We were happy to see that you entered the prescription correctly on this order, but we were sorry to learn that you could not see well with these eyeglasses, either. Consequently, we apologize for any dissatisfaction you experienced as a result. You returned these eyeglasses to us for an inspection, and we want to confirm that we do not send the glasses to our lab to be inspected; the inspections are performed by inspectors in the U.S. Insofar as our inspection of these eyeglasses found no manufacturing errors, we issued a $5.00 refund in the form of store credit to your Zenni account, representing the amount of this order that was paid for with a credit card, and we emailed you to ask if you would like the 50 percent refund of the amount of store credit used to pay for this eyeglasses order, $57.45, issued to the credit card you used to pay for the previous order. When you confirm that you accept this refund, we will ask our lab to issue it to your credit card, and when they have issued this refund, they will email you confirmation that it has been issued, with a transaction number. We hope that this will resolve this matter to your satisfaction.

What optical company in 2022 consistently manufactures defective glasses and also happens to have a completely unfair return policy that will always favor them even if they admit fault? It takes more than a month to get your initial order. Then a week to ship the defective glasses back to them, then another 14 days for them to determine if the glasses are indeed defective, then another month to get the replacement glasses back, then repeat that if the second pair is also defective. And then after 4 months, you will only get 50% refund if the glasses are still defective.

I used to only own one pair of glasses at a time and I'd update them about once every two years. I was very specific about the style and I never liked to shop at the optometrist office. The selection was very poor. I loathed getting new glasses. Ever since I've received my first pair from Zenni during winter several months ago I've been extremely open to new styles. Shopping for glasses is no longer a chore because it's fun. My prescription is fairly complex as I have severe astigmatism and every single pair of glasses has been great from Zenni. I own about 5 pairs of glasses for myself, and now I've ordered glasses for family members as well! They've got a very fair pricing structure so you always feel like you've got a bargain no matter what lens technologies or frames you pick. For example, I got perfect prescription polarized sunglasses for about $100! Plus I've interacted with their customer support team a few times and they've always been helpful. They even refunded me the difference on an order when I placed it a day prior to a sale.

Very Poor Customer Service

Frames were way too flimsy, sent them back.? I have a video of the frames actually squeaking (can't post here because sitejabber is saying it's too short?), sent the video to Zenni also before returning the glasses. They keep putting me off on a refund, been a month since they actually received them back. Where is my money? We have order at least 15 pairs of glasses from Zenni in the past... so much for loyal customers

Best Affordable Glasses

I would highly reccomend Zenni Optical for those looking for prescription glasses on a budget. My total price for 1 pair of glasses was only $27 shipping included! Definitely research promo/discount codes before placing your ordering. The shipping time was roughly 8 business days. These glasses are mega clear/crisp and are light-weight, but not cheap feeling at all.

A great disruptor to the expensive eyewear game. Lots of very cheap choices and you can pick all the lens options so you can make it as cheap or as expensive as you want. Instead of getting one expensive pair at a regular spot, I got a normal pair and prescription sunglasses for a lot less cost. I plan on using them again.

Slow shipping poor customer service

Please buy your glasses elsewhere, I have been fighting with them for five days and they said the glasses would be delivered between 7 and 14 days, well now they're telling me 30 days and it most likely would be the post office's fault so I am very unhappy they have not taken care of me it is my first order with them and I will never do another one, in fact I had other glasses in my shopping cart, I have deleted those and ordered them elsewhere and they will be here tomorrow and zany is still out for shipping and no telling when it will arrive because the tracking number shows no movement

My glasses started to run closer to a thousand dollars at conventional eye exam offices. I tried Zenni for a backup pair a few years ago, and I was so impressed I am only ordering glasses from Zenni now. They consistently get the prescription spot on, and they arrive usually in around 10 days from China. That's pretty amazing when you think about it. I get 1.67 high index, photochromic with blue light blocker technology included with frames and shipping for around $110. Versus $750 a few years ago. A penny saved is a penny earned!

I have had soooooooooooooo many glasses made here... and they are great, until a pair is made incorrectly. They are requesting an original rx, regardless that they made 50 pairs for me with the same rx and pupillary distance. So, as long as they do not make mistakes, and the prescription is good, they are great. However, I will not be using them again. Very disappointed. They should request that upfront if they require it, not after the fact, when they are trying to get out of correcting their mistake. I have three pairs of PROGRESSIVE glasses I cannot use due to their mistake. Not cheap.

Thank you for posting your Zenni review of your experience with your eyeglasses order o4597126344, placed on March 13,2022, for two pairs of standard progressive eyeglasses, one pair of which – in oval, full-rim, plastic, orange and yellow frame 1110222 with red hearts and blue flowers on the yellow temple arms and a frame width of 129 millimeters – we were sorry to learn was problematic, and we apologize for any dissatisfaction you experienced as a result. We were also sorry to learn that you declined to provide a copy of the prescription you used to place this order as well as several other orders, all of which had the same pupillary distance (PD) and prescription, although some eyeglasses were ordered as standard progressives, some as mid-range workspace progressives, and some as near-range workspace progressives. We do not require customers to provide their prescriptions when they order their eyeglasses; we hope and expect that they will enter the prescription correctly. However, when customers report vision problems with eyeglasses they have ordered, we will ask the customer to provide a copy of the prescription, so we can determine whether they entered the prescription values correctly. We see that you have placed many orders using this prescription and PD, so we do not need to confirm that you entered the prescription correctly, although you have ordered different prescription types, as we noted. However, if a customer wants to return the eyeglasses to us for an inspection, we ask the customer to provide a copy of the prescription for the inspection. This is required by one of our regulators, the Food and Drug Administration, and we are also sorry that you objected to providing a copy of the prescription. Consequently, we regret that we will be unable to invite you to return the eyeglasses in frame 1110222 to us for an inspection without your providing a copy of the prescription, and we are also sorry for any dismay you experience as a result.

That's fast!

I ordered my glasses Sunday evening and checked the tracking Tuesday afternoon and saw that they had arrived at the FedEx hub that afternoon. I didn't expect to receive them until the next day but later that evening I came home from a walk and there was the FedEx guy. I got my glasses! They are good quality and look great. I will be ordering from Zenni again.
