Glasses look great! I get tons of compliments and the fast shipping options was amazing. My glasses arrived in 3 days and I didn't have a backup pair of glasses so it was definitely worth the $20 for the fast frames.
Great lenses, great delivery - all the way around great experience. Would purchase again from Zenni.
Satisfied and got it earlier than expected. Good service
The process of choosing a pair of glasses and uploading my prescription was so easy and got my new pair of glasses in just a couple days. Will definitely order from Zenni in the future.
Love my glasses and the quick delivery! The selection of frames and prices was wonderful! I will definitely order from them again.
I have ordered from zenni about 10 times. At first, the glasses quality and prices were amazing, and the customer service was great. In the last year, Its been very challenging to get any real help through them. Email customer service is slow and unhelpful. Returns have been made to be very difficult, requiring to deal with multiple emails and a lot of red tape.
Today, my order arrived and the glasses are too small. I wont bother to try to return them, instead I will go to a brick and mortar store locally.
I'm done with this company.
I want so much to give Zenni a good review because their pricing is outstanding and the reps seem to try to please. I've had glasses made before by Zenni with a couple of hiccups to finally get it right but this last time goes way beyond that. It took Zenni 6 tries and they were not able to deliver an acceptable product. Because of the previous experience, I even asked about by expectations before ordering and was assured that what I wanted was standard processing. Well, it took 4 tries to get to what I thought was the final product but the left lens fell out after a few days. Upon examination, the lens was cut slightly undersized so you could actually wiggle it. I informed them that they almost had it right; just make the left lens the correct size. To keep it short, they tried 2 more times and went completely backwards with the edge processing (roll and polish) and make them way worse than all the other attempts. Attempts 5 $ 6 took way too much from the edges which causes flare whenever light is behind me. After that, they just said they can't do it. Remember that they did it right about 2-1/2 years ago with my first order. They did refund my money but I wasted 2+ months and a good bit of aggravation. I have deleted the pics of the final 2 attempts so I can't post them.
Thank you for posting your Zenni review of the multiple attempts we made to produce your eyeglasses, which we were sorry to read were unsuccessful. Consequently, we apologize for any dissatisfaction you experienced as a result. After several remakes, on April 21,2022, we issued a full refund, $113.90, of what you spent on the initial order, o4375277496, to the PayPal account you used to pay for it. We hope that this refund resolves this matter to your satisfaction.
I made two purchases of Zenni prescription glasses over the last 2.5 years. After 14 months the anti-glare/anti scratch coating started to peel off around the edges of the lenses. I ordered a second pair (believing the quality problem was just a fluke) with only the anti scratch coating and 13 months after getting the glasses the coating on both lenses started to deteriorate! I looked like 100's of pin holes across the lenses which you could feel with your finger not to mention compromising my visual acuity.
Thank you for posting your Zenni review of the deterioration of the anti-reflective coating on the standard progressive eyeglasses you ordered with gray photochromic (light-sensitive, auto-tinting) lenses in your order o1874696751, placed on November 10,2020, as well as the deterioration of the lenses of the standard progressive eyeglasses from your subsequent order, o3473515755, placed on December 4,2020, and ordered without an anti-reflective coating. We were sorry to read your description of the lenses of these two pairs of eyeglasses, and we apologize for any dismay you experienced as a result. Unfortunately, our anti-reflective coatings and photochromic films have a one-year warranty, which starts the day the glasses are delivered. Therefore, we regret that the eyeglasses from order o1874696751 are too far outside their warranty period for us to receive the eyeglasses for an inspection or one of our two refund options, which are a 100 percent refund of the price of the glasses in the form of store credit to the customer’s Zenni account or a 50 percent refund to the source of payment, in this case a PayPal account. In addition, the eyeglasses from order o3473515755, which were ordered without an anti-reflective coating or photochromic lenses, have a 30-day warranty period, which starts the day the glasses are delivered. Therefore, we regret that these eyeglasses also are too far outside their warranty period for us to receive the eyeglasses for an inspection or one of our two refund options. We also apologize for any dissatisfaction you experience due to this matter. However, we want to confirm that if you order one or more pairs of eyeglasses with either an anti-reflective coating or the photochromic feature, and if you notice that either of these items is starting to deteriorate within one year after you received the glasses, please contact Zenni Customer Service, at 1-800-211-2105, and the customer service representative will ask you to provide pictures of the deterioration of the anti-reflective coating and / or the photochromic feature. If we see that these items are faulty, we can offer to remake the eyeglasses for you for free. If the wait to speak with a customer service representative is lengthy, you may have an online Chat with us by clicking on the button labeled Support, at the lower right-hand corner of every page of the Zenni website. You may also email us, at [email protected], and if you choose this communication method, please put your order number in the subject line of the email, and please attach pictures that show the deterioration of one or both of these features to the email. We hope that this information is helpful, and we apologize again that the glasses from these two orders are too far outside their respective warranty periods for us to address these matters.
I returned two pair of glasses to the company in one package with one printed label. It is impossible for the glasses to have been seperated. The company will not credit me for the second pair and will not connect me to a customer service supervisor to listen to my complaint. I've dealt with the company favorably since 2018 but will not make the same mistake again.
Thank you for posting your Zenni review of the eyeglasses you returned to us for a 100 percent store credit refund. We are sorry to confirm that our Returns team found only one pair of eyeglasses, the polarized gray single-vision distance sunglasses, in full-rim, round, acetate, spring-hinged, streaked-gray smoke-colored frame 4426612, with a frame width of 138 millimeters, in the package. They did not find the standard progressive eyeglasses with our Blokz® blue-light-blocking feature in full-rim, square, acetate, spring-hinged, red frame 4427818, with a frame width of 137 mm. Consequently, we apologize for any dismay you experienced as a result. Nevertheless, insofar as you insist that you did return these standard progressive eyeglasses along with the sunglasses, we are going to make a one-time customer service exception on your behalf to ask our lab to issue a 100 percent store credit refund of what you spent on these standard progressive eyeglasses, $79.72, to your Zenni account. You should receive an email from our lab later tonight or tomorrow, confirming this additional store credit refund. We trust that this additional 100 percent store credit refund will resolve this matter to your satisfaction.
I have been ordering from Zenni for a while but I have to say in the last few years the quality of the glasses have gone down hill. I am not satisfied with my current order but I'm going to keep them because I need glasses. The cases and the cleaning cloths are nice but they are not very good quality like they were before just wonder what's going on with zenni
Thank you for posting your Zenni review regarding the two pairs of standard progressive eyeglasses with our Blokz® blue-light-blocking feature you recently ordered. We were sorry to read you are disappointed in the quality of these eyeglasses and the cases and cleaning cloths that came with the glasses, and we apologize for any dissatisfaction you experienced as a result. We want to confirm that the cases and cleaning cloths are the same items we have offered since your first order, placed in 2018, and we are sorry that you feel that the quality of the eyeglasses and these accessories has declined. We apologize for this matter, as well.
They sent me the wrong lens. I returned the glasses in early May. They received them on May 10, per USPS. Today is May 28, and although I reached out to them multiple times, they keep telling me they will be inspecting the lens "later" and let me know what's wrong. Totally unacceptable.
Thank you for posting your Zenni review of the standard progressive eyeglasses with our Blokz® blue-light-blocking feature you ordered on April 16,2022, in order number o4491708107, with which we were sorry to learn you could not see well. Consequently, we apologize for any dissatisfaction you experienced as a result. We have received the returned eyeglasses for an inspection, and we will inspect them soon. Once we have completed the inspection, we will email you the inspection results. If our inspection finds any manufacturing errors on the glasses, we can offer to remake them for you for free. If we find no manufacturing errors on the glasses, we can return the glasses to you or issue one of our two refund options – either a 100 percent refund of the price of the glasses in the form of store credit to your Zenni account or a 50 percent refund to the credit card you used to pay for the order. We look forward to inspecting the eyeglasses and emailing you the inspection results, which we hope will lead to a successful resolution of the issues with these eyeglasses.
Love my glasses but data was breached, unauthorized charges submitted and my bank closed my account without notice. Huge fiasco, holiday weekend, just had surgery/cant drive and nearest bank is 90 minutes away. What a nightmare
Thank you for posting your Zenni review of your experience ordering standard progressive eyeglasses with our Blokz® blue-light-blocking feature from us. We were sorry to learn that your account was hacked, and we apologize for any dismay you experienced as a result. Please let us know if there is any information we can provide you to help you address this matter with your Google Pay account-issuing bank, and we will be happy to assist you in this matter.
My glasses were too small and I ordered a large pair, and when I contacted customer service they weren't helpful at all. Very disappointed. Her name was hazel and she was very rude
Thank you for posting your Zenni review of the eyeglasses you most recently ordered – in full-rim, aviator-style, stainless-steel, spring-hinged, gold frame 419014, with a frame width of 140 millimeters – which we were sorry to learn did not fit you well. Consequently, we apologize for any disappointment you experienced due to this matter, and for any dissatisfaction you experienced regarding your interaction with our customer service representative. This order is within its 30-day warranty period, which starts the day the glasses are delivered. Therefore, if you would like to return these single-vision eyeglasses to us for one of our two refund options – either a 100 percent refund of the price of the glasses in the form of store credit to your Zenni account or a 50 percent refund to the PayPal account you used to pay for them – we invite you to telephone Zenni Customer Service, at 1-800-211-2105, and anyone who answers will be eager to assist you with emailed instructions to return the glasses to us for the refund option you select. If the wait to speak with a customer service representative is lengthy, you may have an online chat with us by clicking the button labeled Support, at the lower right-hand corner of every Zenni page. You may also email us, at [email protected], and if you choose this communication method, please put your order number, o4584722609, in the subject line of the email, and in the body of the email please advise of the refund option you prefer. We will email you instructions to return the glasses to us for this refund, and we will also email you a prepaid mailing label to use for return postage. We very much hope to hear back from you, so that we may resolve this matter to your satisfaction.
I ordered Zenni eye ware and clip on sun glasses last July. The sun glasses scratched off the finish of the eye ware over time. Now I want to reorder the eye ware but want compensation due to the damage caused by the defective Zenni clip on sunglasses. I 'chatted' with customer service with no resolution. I will be glad to look else where for eye ware, but wanted to see if Zenni would work with me 1st.
Thank you for posting your Zenni review of the frame you ordered on July 6,2021, o3991951467 – full-rim, cat-eye, flexible-plastic, lavender-and-green frame 2027817, with a frame width of 140 millimeters – which we were sorry to learn got scratched by the clip-on sunshades you selected for the glasses. Consequently, we apologize for any dismay you experienced as a result. As we advised when you contacted us about this matter, on May 24,2022, we advised that this order had a 30-day warranty period, which started the day the glasses were delivered, which was in July 2021, but you may order a pair of free nonprescription glasses in frame 2027817 and replace those lenses with the prescription lenses from the glasses on your original order. We are also sorry that we do not have a 20 percent promo code to provide you on your next order, and we apologize for any disappointment you experience as a result. However, since you advise that your prescription has changed, we want to recommend that you place a new order with your current prescription and use one of the promo codes we are currently offering on the homepage of our website. We hope that this will resolve this matter to your satisfaction.
I would never buy here again. I have worn glasses for over 20 years, but they treat you like a child. I know when glasses are not right. They try and tell you well, progressives are different, I have had progressives for over 20 years. I have never had progressives I could not wear until Zenni.
I finally got an RA from them, well then it takes nearly 21 days for them to receive them, send them to their QA department review them, and disposition them, then you cannot get a full refund, you either have to take a replacement, why get another pair of glasses made wrong? Or 50% of what you paid? Seriously.
So I ended up ordering a pair for sunglasses, and work glasses with wider tolerances against my credit, hopefully they cannot get those wrong, but now nearly 60 days have passed since I gave them my money and they are still in transit to their distribution center.
Zenni, true fact, Progressives need to be measured from the bottom of the fame to the center of the customers pupil to be correctly split for the adjustment, you cannot make a proper pair of progressives by just using averages. Peoples eyes are not average, that is just plain stupid.
Shame on you Zenni for trying to pass off professionally made progressive eyeglasses without the proper measurements to make them correctly.
Thank you for posting your Zenni review of the first order you placed with us, for a pair of standard progressive eyeglasses with gray Transitions® photochromic (light-sensitive, auto-tinting) lenses with which we were sorry to learn you could not see well. Consequently, we apologize for any dissatisfaction you experienced when you received these eyeglasses. You returned these eyeglasses to us for an inspection, and we were also sorry to learn that our inspection found manufacturing errors on the glasses. We apologize for this matter, as well. In addition, we want to advise that we have a standard placement of the top of the progressive reading corridor – 5 millimeters above the centerline of the lens. We have found that this standard placement works well for the vast majority of our customers who wear progressive glasses, since our return rate is less than three percent of all orders. Of course, we are sorry that this standard placement did not work for you with the frame you selected – full-rim, geometric, stainless-steel, spring-hinged, pink, gold, and multicolor frame 3228219, with a frame width of 137 mm and a lens height of 38 mm. We want to suggest that you consult with your eye doctor to ask where the optical center should be on an eyeglasses lens that would enable you to use the progressive reading corridor, the top of which is placed at 5 mm above the centerline of the lens. Since frame 322819 has a lens height of 38 mm, the centerline is at 19 mm up from the bottom, and the top of the progressive reading corridor is placed at 24 mm up from the bottom. If you eye doctor recommends a specific lens height that would put the top of the progressive reading corridor where you need it to use a pair of standard progressive eyeglasses successfully, you may order a frame with this lens height for a pair of standard progressive eyeglasses, and we expect that this progressive segment height will work for you. You declined our offer of a free remake of these glasses and advised that you would prefer a 100 percent refund of the price of the glasses in the form of store credit to your Zenni account. We issued this store credit refund on May 12,2022, and you used the store credit toward the placement of your next two orders – o4643788669, placed on May 13,2022, for one pair of mid-range workspace progressive eyeglasses with our Blokz® blue-light-blocking feature, and o4751956981, placed on May 14,2022, for one pair of single-vision sunglasses with a gradient amber tint and a rose gold mirror finish on the lenses. We completed manufacturing the glasses in order o4643788669 on May 16,2022, and we completed manufacturing the glasses in order o4751956981 on May 18,2022. We will mail both orders to you soon, and when we do, we will email you the U.S. Postal Service tracking number you may use to keep track of the delivery of these two orders. We hope that when you receive the mid-range workspace progressives and the single-vision sunglasses you will be pleased with them.
Got my first pair and love them so far and price was so affordable, very comfortable light weight
Thank you Zenni definitely recommend to everyone i know
After a extended delay in shipping, The Glasses finally arrived, Not only were they damaged they were not correct, I contacted Zenni Optical and they refused to send out a replacement. Then after a extended Conversation with their agent It was finally admitted by Zenni That they ripped me off and thats was it.
The return policy is not to help correct their issue Its designed to further Defraud the customer,
I even stated that I would pay for the replacement if they did not receive the defective ones
What a scam, Buyer Be Ware..
Thank you for posting your Zenni review of your experience ordering eyeglasses from us. We looked up the order number you provided with your review, o416333925, and it yielded no orders placed with Zenni. Therefore, please reply to this review response with the actual order number, the email address that is your Zenni username, and your first and last name, and we will be happy to look up the order, research this matter, and respond to your concern. We look forward to hearing back from you, so that we may research this matter and, we hope, resolve it to your satisfaction.
My family have used ZENNI for a few years now and we've ordered many pairs and each time they've been reliable and delivered. The one time that it wasn't delivered, customer service sent out a replacement at no additional costs. I'm happy with ZENNI and have recommended them to friends and family. They're good quality at an affordable price. My most recent order arrived and my son is quite happy with it!
Still waiting for my glasses to be even shipped. We are on week three now. Says it is enroute to distribution center and that has taken over a week to even get there. I would not purchase from here again as being a first time customer, is has not been a good experience. There system is automated response as well so questions don't get answered.
Thank you for posting your Zenni review of the shipping time of your order. You placed the order on April 30,2022, with Standard shipping, for $4.95, which comes with a seven-14-business-day delivery-time promise. The 14th business day after the order was placed is Thursday, May 19,2022, and since the database record of the order indicates that the order was received at the U.S. distribution center on Friday, May 13,2022, we expect that we will not meet the delivery-time promise to deliver the order to you on May 19,2022. Therefore, we are going to ask our lab to proactively refund the $4.95 Standard shipping fee to the credit card you used to pay for the order. You should receive an email from our lab later tonight or tomorrow, confirming this $4.95 Standard shipping fee refund with a transaction number. Of course, we hope that you will receive these two pairs of single-vision eyeglasses – one of them a pair of single-vision distance eyeglasses and the other one a pair of dark amber sunglasses with a rose gold mirror finish, both with our Blokz® blue-light-blocking feature – within the 14-business-day delivery time promise. However, if the order is delivered to you after May 19,2022, we hope that this preemptive Standard shipping fee refund will resolve this matter to your satisfaction. Of course, we also hope that you will be pleased with these two pairs of glasses when you receive them.
Answer: Hi. We are sorry to tell you that we have recently and temporarily discontinued delivery to Spain. We hope to ship there again soon and we encourage you to check our website frequently to see when it is available again.
Answer: I had no problem with returning my initial pair of glasses. I contacted customer service via online chat and explained my reason for return and I was told I would receive 100% credit that could be applied to my reorder. I followed the return instructions given and kept track via USPS and the transaction went smoothly without any glitches.
Answer: Hi Reginald, thank you for your question! We do not manufacture only lenses, or lenses for non-Zenni frames. I am sorry about any inconvenience!
Answer: Hi. Yes, store credit is one of the options available when you contact us during the 30-day warranty period. And our Customer Service department will be eager to help you with the return. Please call us at 1-800-211-2105, email us at [email protected], or chat with us live by clicking on the floating Support button that appears near the bottom-right corner of any page on our website and a representative will issue a return authorization number and provide return instructions.
Answer: Hi. Progressive lenses contain three viewing areas: distance-, intermediate-, and near-vision - the distance vision area is near the top of the lens, the near vision area is at the bottom, and the intermediate vision area is in the middle. The clear viewing area is located in the central "corridor" of the lenses, so there can be a noticeable but expected blur when looking toward the edges of the lenses. Due to this design, and because there are slight differences between progressive lenses across brands, someone new to wearing progressive lenses may initially experience some difficulty adjusting to them; likewise, someone who is already accustomed to wearing one brand of progressive lenses may have some difficulty adjusting if they switch to a different brand, and they will find that it it will take some time to become accustomed to the new lenses. Despite the period of adaptation needed, we are happy to report that we do not receive a disproportionate number of complaints about our progressive lenses. However, we don't ever want to assume that needing time to adjust to the lenses is the only reason a customer could be having difficulty with their glasses; consequently, if you have recently purchased progressive lenses, and have problems seeing clearly through them, we encourage you to contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-211-2105. Doing so will give us an opportunity to address the issue and to offer you a proper resolution. Thank you for posting your question.
Answer: I had the same experience. Very disappointing. When I called about the problem they questioned the accuracy of my prescription. I was able to return them for a Zenni credit, less shipping costs. Waiting to see if the second pair is better...
Answer: Yes, it costs a little more for bifocal lenses. It does not however cost as much as it does in a typical eyeglass office/store.
Answer: None. There is no guarantee on anything (lenses or frames) beyond 30 days.

Thank you for posting your Zenni review of your recent experience with our customer service team. We were sorry to read that you have been displeased with the return process when you have wanted to return frames you ordered that we were also sorry to learn turned out to be too small. Consequently, we apologize for any dissatisfaction you experienced as a result. The frame from your most recent order, o4792917930, placed on May 31,2022, and delivered to you on June 11,2022, according to the U.S. Postal Service website, is full-rim, cat-eye, acetate, spring-hinged, pink tortoiseshell frame 4437919, with a frame width of 131 millimeters. We were sorry to read that this frame is too small to fit you well. On your most recent previous order, o4657857721, placed on April 7,2022, you selected full-rim, cat-eye, flexible-plastic, translucent floral frame 2018723, with a frame width of 135 mm. We see no notes in the database record of that order indicating that you had any issue with the size of these single-vision eyeglasses. However, you returned your glasses for a 100 percent refund in the form of store credit to your Zenni account from the order prior to that one, o4550249796, placed on February 22,2022, in full-rim, rectangular, acetate, black frame 439521, with a frame width of 126 mm. Although this frame is narrower than frame 4437919, the notes in the database record of this order indicate that you were happy with the frame. Nevertheless, if you would like to return the eyeglasses in 4437919 for the refund option available for an order placed with a combination of store credit and funds from a credit card – a 50 percent refund of the amount of store credit that was used to pay for the order to the credit card used to pay for the other part of the order and a 100 percent refund of the amount that was paid for with funds from the credit card – insofar as this order is within its 30-day warranty period, which starts the day the glasses are delivered, we invite you to telephone Zenni Customer Service, at 1-800-211-2105, and anyone who answers will be eager to assist you with emailed instructions to return the glasses for this combined refund. We will also email you a prepaid mailing label to use for return postage. If the wait to speak with a customer service representative is lengthy, you may have an online chat with us by clicking the button labeled Support, at the lower right-hand corner of every Zenni page. You may also email us, at [email protected], and if you choose this communication method, please put your order number, o4792917930, in the subject line of the email, and in the body of the email please advise that you would like emailed instructions to return the glasses in frame 4437919 for the combined store credit and credit card refund. We will email you the instructions to return the glasses to us for this refund, and we will also email you the prepaid mailing label. Moreover, since you have had size issues with the frames you have ordered, we want to recommend the information we provide in an infographic found toward the middle of the bottom of every page of our website, How to Measure Your Frame Size: https://www.zennioptical.com/measure-eyeglass-frame-size-how-to. This infographic explains how to measure the dimensions of each element of a pair of eyeglasses you have now that fits you well and looks good on your face, so that you may shop for a frame on our website with similar dimensions, which can be seen under the enlarged picture of the frame on our website, under Details. It does not have to be an exact match. You have a 2-mm leeway on each element of an eyeglasses frame, with a 3-4 mm leeway on the temple arms. We also have information in our Help Center that is very useful for determining the frame size you need for a frame to fit you well: https://help.zennioptical.com/hc/en-us/articles/360049904633-How-Do-I-Find-My-Frame-Size-. We hope that this information is helpful, and we very much hope to hear back from you, so that we may resolve this matter to your satisfaction with a combined refund, and so that you may place a new order for eyeglasses in a frame that should fit you well.
