Mesh screen

I ordered a custom size mesh fire screen. It arrived Masonite than expected, but wasn't the correct size. Woodland Direct quickly opened a customer support case and had the screen replaced with the correct size. Very happy with the customer service.

Gas logs

It has not been the greatest experience. We had a bad Thermocouple which the plumber replaced. No the remote will not turn the unit off. It will turn it up. We have tried everything to fix but have just been having to shut the gas completely off every time we need to turn it down Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

My fireplace screen was delivered immediately after a snowstorm. Our rural roads were treacherous. The driver got as close to my house as possible. There was no way his truck could navigate the icy road conditions safely. I was able to drive out to his truck. He attempted to load the fireplace screen but it was too big, then he unpacked it for me and loaded it into my car. What a wonderful driver!

Beautiful custom-made fireplace screen

New heavy high quality fireplace grate

The logs are great, finding the correct size through the website was challenging. A dimension of the logs as well as a sheet explaining how the logs are supposed to be laid out would also be very helpful.

Overpriced and came in off

The product was relatively over priced and the base isn't even connected properly there's large gaps in the insert. It also isn't even straight inside with a visible lean to the insert. Crazy for how much it cost. The dampener is also non-agustable there's only open all the way or closed.

Woodland Direct Experience

Sales guy was helpful and I'm happy with our selection. Shipping was fast for the wood, but the rest of the kit took awhile. I think they were low stock at the time I ordered. It took a few times to adjust the wood pieces so the flame looked natural and wasn't concentrated in one area top much. The wood we choose is lighter in color and after several uses has some heavy burn marks, so it's possible that we should have gone with a darker wood. Otherwise we're pretty satisfied with our kit.

Perfect vendor selection!

I had been searching online for weeks for a custom fit fireplace screen for an outdoor fireplace. I finally came across Woodland. Their selection range was vast - materials, finishes and added features. I found what I wanted, used their online customizing tools and ordered the screen. It arrived early, was perfectly packaged and was EXACTLY what I wanted, and what it was represented to be. I am extremely pleased with the product and with Woodland's entire shopping experience! Wonderful!

It took too long to receive my order.

I placed my order on Nov 17 2025 but I did not receive it till January 23 2026. I used the tracking that you send me to check on status but the status never changed. I called multiple times to check on status but my calls were never returned. I finally got hold of someone in early January and she told me that she will check on it and get back to me but she never did. I left messages with my original sales person but he never called me back. I finally received the fireplace door on January 23 and it looks great. However I never heard any explanation as to why it took so long even though a typical delivery 2-4 weeks. I am very disappointed in the follow up communication but not the product itself.

Classic Design

Superb experience over the course of the order. The website is excellent, many offerings. We purchased a screen in the exact style as 3 previous ones purchased for the other fireplaces in the house. We own an 1884 Queen Anne Victorian, and converted the last fireplace to gas coal basket. I wanted a screen to match the other 3, which are also your product. It has been 22 years since we purchased the 3 screens, you still offered that model. And at a great price!

Fireplace Grill appears durable.
