First I was charged twice for the set of logs, my bank alerted me and I got that cleared up. The bag of embers they sent wouldn't have covered 2 sq. In., they still haven't shipped me more. The set of logs took over a month to ship even though they were in stock. Would not recommend this company.
Thank you for your feedback. Empire's Platinum Ember kit is small bag of media. It is more than enough when properly installed. As tiny as it may seem, when an installer properly separates it and places it within the log display, the small bits of embers glow and provide the realistic illusion of real wood embers. John, you are not the only one who has questioned this feature, but I can assure you, a little goes a long way with Empire's ember kit.
We purchased a Burner that doesn't quite work in our firebox. The professional support is in the midst of trying to help us get the right one and return the one we ordered. The service so far has been top-notch.

I ordered the Woodhaven 39" Crescent Firewood Rack with Cover. I was happy to see it was American made and it showed with thick powder coated steel and quality construction with instructions in intelligible English. The rack works well and looks nice.

I bought a lifetime warranty fire grate from Woodland direct way back in 2013. My grate is just now starting to disintegrate in the back part of the grate. I called on the phone remembering I had a lifetime warranty. The girl I spoke to told me to take pictures and send them via email. I did. They looked at the pictures and decided I had a claim. Within a week a new grate arrived! Literally the best company!

Received the grate quickly, however it wasn't packaged very well and some of the edges got scrapped. Other that that, we're very happy with our purchase and the grate fits perfectly.
