I ordered a Alkin Study Table after miyapur(hyderabad) store manager assurance that it will be delivered within 15 days; still I confirmed with him for 4-5 times on call/whatsapp. He insisted on 15 days delivery saying he contacted product manager and table is ready and just that needs to be shipped so max 15 days. I had to cancel order with another vendor(that was Engineering wood table and I preferred this wooden one). I didn't get any update even after 15 days so I tried to contact the store manager and he stopped replying to WA and wasn't taking calls. I called the customer care and they said will get back within 2 days but no update. This went on for a while and then after 3 weeks again I called customer care and finally they confirmed that they just received the raw table so they need to paint and then ship which will take another two weeks. So I finally got the table after 35 days. So long story short, they make false promises and forget and has worst customer support.

And one more thing, I wrote review on their website but looks they don't post negative reviews; mine not yet posted. And all I see is 5 star ratings so don't go by that.

If there is been any option for giving a negative ratings, I would have gone for it. The worst customer service one could ever experience. We ordered for a bed and a shoe rack in the month of March, 2020 ( before lockdown). The bed was delivered without any customisation after 1.5 months. The product was delivered with so many scratches and other faults. They promised they will send the carpenter within a week. But after following up with them regularly for about a month they finally sent carpenter almost after a month. In between they never called us to give us an update. Now for the shoe rack they assured us they will deliver the product by the end of June, 2020. For this also we have called them more than 50 times. Last week also they assured we will get the product by end of June. Today they are saying it might get delivered by mid of July, 2020. I mean I am so disappointed with the service. I asked them to cancel the order and get us a refund. Otherwise I'm moving before the consumer forum for all the harassment and false promises made by them.

So when you go to buy the furniture everyone will be very cooperative and the furniture will look good when delivered but in period of using it for 1 - 2 yrs all the pieces will start coming apart. In 2017 we bought a lot of furniture from them because we had just moved to Bangalore, but over the course of last 2 yes all of it has become unusable.

The sofa set and the arm chair that cost approximately. 60k combined has lost its shape and provides no support while siting.

The wooden coffee table and dinning table set, costs approx 60k combined, the wood is splitting up wherever there is a joint.

The bed that cost 50k makes creaking noise when turning sides because the plank that supports the mattress is very thin and low quality.

When we called them now for after sales support, all they did was misbehaved. So all in all bad place to put your money.

I have ordered double bed(King size Ferguson with storage) from wooden street recently (ID *******). The experience was excruciating. In my life I have not seen such type of irresponsible and hoodwinked vendor. Don't believe on their words at least in terms of quality and delivery. I am sure they can't delver the furniture on promised time.
Poor quality of accessories and wooden also. The polishing of furniture is horrible.
I had been so frustrated with the outcome that I would strongly recommend to NOT TO BUY WOODENSTREET furniture ever in your life customer care, sent message& e mails

We ordered a cupboard on June 29th Hyderabad, they promised to delivery within 60 days, when we ordered the product they told we are giving lifetime warranty but, they delivered damage piece after 3 months.
We raised a complaint in mail more than 50 times,
We call the customer care almost every week,. (18-12-2019) still now they didn't replaced the product. Almost 6 month are over.
Whenever we call customer service they always say that product is on the way, within one day they will deliver the product, but till now they didn't deliver the products.
I would suggest please, no one to buy from this cheater street (wooden street) store.
They take the whole payment at the starting itself, but they are not giving respect to the customers.
Really worst service I never seen anywhere.
One star is too much for this company.

Since there was no option for giving zero stars, had to give one star.

They say that they will deliver you in 5-7 weeks. Please note that's a LIE! The delivery will be anyway from 7th week last day to eternity. And they won't even cancel your order. My 4L has been trapped in this pathetic company.

Worst customer service you will ever find! And they don't have call recordings of your previous calls btw so all the best explaining the Ramayan multiple times!

It is 13 weeks and my order is still not with me, which I was promised would arrive by the end of July (06 WEEKS FROM ORDER PLACEMENT). It is a huge order running in lakhs.

I have been calling every single day, have sent emails, and have had several conversations with various people, each of whom has given me a different status about my order. They also have a no Grieveience Officer(which is mandatory according to the Information and Technology Act) to escalate grievances to.

The last and final resolution that was promised to me was that if my order does not arrive by 15th September(12 weeks later!), I would get a full refund. As of yesterday, I was told that the order had still not been shipped.  

Each day I am promised a resolution by the end of day and then the person concerned never gets back to me, and when I follow up the person is on leave or not available. This is outright ONLINE FRAUD, and now all I want is a FULL AND IMMEDIATE REFUND, which they are refusing to give.

The avoidance in addressing this matter, and only buying time with excuses and not taking calls or replying to emails(as you do not wish to clearly do not want to put things down on record), only further strengthens my point that I have been cheated as a customer with false promises, false delivery timelines, false updates, and that fact that as a company you are not willing to refund my money, even though the fault is entirely theirs.

This just proves what an unethical organization this is and one to be avoided at any cost.

THEY HAVE STILL NOT RESOLVED THIS ISSUE.

Recently bought furniture from woodenstreet, just 2 months back. A bed and a center coffee table. Bought after a lot of review that they make good hardwood furniture but the reality is something else when you get it. In just 2 months, the bed and coffee table have both got BIG cracks on both sides. If a sheesham wood bed and table which are supposed to last years can develop cracks in 2 months, its a really sad state of quality.
On top of that, I have been following up with them for last 10 days and all they say is that our expert team will repair it and put some nuts so that u cant see the cracks. No urgency or concern. Just casual behavior
Worst experience ever. Have bought furniture from other stores like urbanladder and pepperfry also. But in wooden street, both the quality and customer are in a sad state. In a race to deliver orders, they dont care about quality at all
