Wayfair CEO must be an idiot. I run a very successful business and I can't even imagine how poor the management of this place is. Total loosers. Buy somewhere else.
I was a Tried & True reviewer for Wayfair.
This is someone who has been asked by Wayfair to select 2 items a month to review within a certain time period and the items you chose are yours to keep for free. This worked well the first few months, however the selection started getting a little scarce.
Then on 2 occasions I was charged for orders on this program. First time it happened I called and it was corrected, 2nd time it happened I called twice and was on the phone a couple of hours. I was told it had to go to a case mgr and they would call me back. Next day I received a call back and was basically told they couldn't refund my money unless I returned the item(s). Mind you Wayfair selected me for this program the items were via the program and now I have wasted time selecting items that
I didn't really need and am going to get charged for them because their system can't compute when the available items for the program are no longer available under that program. My options are to return items which is a hassle or keep and pay for them, even though I only ordered them to fulfill my obligation to the program. Customer service is null and void here! What a scam!
Ordered a desk, got confirmation and delivery date for the next week. As the delivery date approached, Wayfair updated with a new date THREE MONTHS OUT!. Customer service confirmed that the item was in stock when I placed the order, but then backtracked and said that by the time the warehouse received the order, it was out of stock. If this isn't a fraudulent practice, it's at least a vert deceptive way of doing business.
I will never attempt to do business with Wayfair again. I'd advise everyone out there to be very careful. Satisfaction from this vendor is NOT guaranteed!
I ordered a custom made couch and waited 2 months for it to ship. I scheduled delivery and a lady called me and said it had been lost! A 6' couch, how can that be lost? Then I wanted nearly a month for my money to be returned and called twice after waiting a month and was told the first time there was a glich in there system and he would request my money be returned within 72 hours and when that didn't happen I called back and waited another 1.5 hours and the supervisor I talked to didn't think it was long enough that I had to be patient! I'm sorry but I doubt they even had the couch made! They are very rude - to tell me after 2 months that they lost my order and then take another 30 days to refund me? I still have not received my money- but I will file a small claims action and let's hope for Wayfairs sake that the coach was ordered as they said!
I ordered a two-pillow set for my patio furniture. Only one pillow was delivered, and a second pillow would have taken 3 weeks to get to me, which didn't work for my schedule. I arranged for the return, and was promised a refund of the full purchase price. Today I received an email notifying me that I am being refunded only a portion, because they're charging me almost $19 for the return shipping. NO mention was made in the communications with their customer service that I would have to pay the return shipping for THEIR mistake. Never again.
I had ordered a patio umbrella beginning of June 2020, was expected to deliver on July 7, until July 9 I still haven't receive my order yet, so I can the customer service, they were saying the ship it out on June 28 but FedEx never scan it, so told me to wait until they contact FedEx to find out what's going on, so today I call them again on on hold for about 30 minutes in order to wait for a representative to assist me, the representative told me the item that I ordered was out of stock, so I have to wait until August 5 which it another 6 weeks to get the item, so she said I either wait or do I return, and I ask her is there something they can do for me, they said they can't do anything about that, I was very frustrating about they didn't send me any email to let me know the item I ordered was out of stock after 6 weeks, I wouldn't recommend any one order thur Wayfair at all, unless you have no other choice, horrible customer service.
I ordered a headboard about three months ago. Its initial arrival date was supposed to be 2 months ago, but they mistakingly did not send the order to FedEx. I had to call and wait 1.5 hours on hold. The person told me that she had to send out the order because it was never sent initially. Then, the date of arrival passed with still no product arriving. I called again to be told that my product has been lost, and they need to ship out another product. However, the producer of the product is on backorder meaning that my product hasn't even been made or shipped out at all. The service member simply just told me I have to wait for another month or maybe longer. She had no idea when I would get it. Obviously, the whole situation is very frustrating having to wait for a product this long. My friend had ordered the same headboard the same day, and her's arrived 2 months ago. I have concluded that this is not an issue with the current virus, but it is an issue with Wayfair and their inefficient customer service and management.
So I received wicker couch in 2 boxes took hours to put together bad instructions the cushions that came with couch super thin poor quality
Then wayfair lower the price online and did not do price match I ended up overpaying
I attempted to reach out to wayfair
They replied
Sorry for your inconvenience you can return at a $60 dollar charge!
Plus how the heck was I going to return after I put it together
Very dissatisfied
Wayfair is a bunch of sick bastards. Boycott them. If you don't think they are selling kids, you are moronic. #pizzagate
Item was not as pictured, very yellow, not beige as in the description. Trying to return my item, link to initiate a return doesn't work. Logged out and in again, it just keeps taking you back to the order screen after clicking the return option. So I had to call customer service, still on hold after an hour. No email option, no return phone call option and only one music line that keeps repeating every 60 seconds, horrible! They make it very difficult to return anything as they don't want you to do. STAY AWAY! I will NEVER order from them again, not worth my time or their overpriced items.
THIS COMPANY iS INVOLVED IN SEX TRAFFICKING! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE! THEY SELL OVERPRICED ITEMS NAMED AS MISSING PEOPLE AND JUST RECENTLY GOT EXPOSED AND THEN TOOK THEM DOWN.
My card was charged twice and duplicate items were shipped, and absolutely no response to phone calls or from customer services. I was charged 2 times for the items i don't need. My recommendation, stay away from wayfair
After ordering a chair on Wayfair, my husband deemed uncomfortable and promptly repackaged, boxed and brought back to fedex. I did the online return and received a partial credit on my account. They are charging me over $100 for shipping back to them. I cannot get anyone on the phone, and the email I receive from customer service is they are sorry I was not pleased with the order.
I got my order, and it was a defective product. Made a huge mistake buying anything from them. I usually get all my stuff from Amazon, but this time, Amazon didn't have the furniture I needed. I should just buy it from a local store.
Our office bought a fire pit from Wayfair and we made the purchase and 3 days later we got a message saying order needed to be cancelled due to "non in stock" after purchase was made. The horrible part that this is a gift for our boss and we had to scramble trying to look for another one. So stressful, this is horrible business. Thanks a lot Wayfair. We just lost customers, customers beware
STOP BUYING FROM THEM. THEY ARE SELLING KIDS. THERES SO MUCH EVIDENCE AND ITS DISGUSTING! I HOPE THIS BUSINESS GETS SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD!
I purchased a storage they sent me a storage out that I didn't purchase the same storage space show me I told them that's not the one I ordered so they showed me the right one but they sent the one I didn't want it's also filed to remove things off of there when you know that you're wrong I can't even put my bikes into this storage
We ordered an Emerson love-seat / couch to be delivered to our apartment in Houston, Texas which was supposedly shipped from a California warehouse. We waited over a month for delivery. When the scheduled delivery day finally arrived, we did not receive a call from the "delivery specialists" that they were headed to our address. Because we live at an apartment complex and the loading dock/freight elevator remains closed unless requested to the leasing office, and because they did not give us a heads up, they drove by our complex and left without us even knowing. We received a notification that they had" attempted and failed delivery," and would re-schedule another attempt.
Upon calling customer service (very long wait times) they told me they had missed us because our phone number on the website had an extra digit (false because I received text message updates from them every day up until the delivery day). They proceeded to re-schedule our delivery -- first to 4 days later. They called us again a day before that day to say that the couch had not been logged back into the warehouse, so we moved the delivery out another 3 days to allow "processing time."
The day of this supposed final delivery, an hour before the delivery window time started, we got another call, this time saying that our item had been "lost in transit." A 78-inch long couch lost in transit.
The replacement would take another month - month and a half to deliver. Due to terrible and unreliable customer and delivery service and Wayfair stretching our patience as thin as possible due to their unfactual claims actually blaming us for their mistakes, we decided to cancel the order and issue for a full refund.
I strongly caution you from ordering items for home delivery with this company. Very, very frustrating process and zero regard for peoples patience and dignity. Cheap furniture buys cheap customer service, lesson learned.
BEWARE! I ordered online. They sent me two items pretty quickly. I ordered a shoe rack that was fine, but the other item was a wine rack that couldn't be put together because it was missing pieces and a board but the predrilled holes were also in the wrong spots so the drawers wouldn't close. How does a company send something defective?
To make matters worst the Customer Service Agents just give you the runaround. They actually made me wait over a month for a refund.
Not happy.
Answer: Ive ordered several things and I believe they've all had pictures on outside- sorry.
Answer: No, they will take returns, but you pay fees. As for poor quality, I guess we just swallow it.
Answer: From my experience, this is company is to be avoided. Sounds like your life will be hectic enough for awhile so you don't need additional stress. Buy elsewhere is my advice.
Answer: Need to call Customer Service ( a/k/a Customer Disservice) about any issue. Expect to be disappointed, but they may honor it. Best to avoid Wayfair in the future.
Answer: Suggest calling Customer Service aka Customer disservice. A word of advice: buy elsewhere; anywhere else. This Co. Just does not care.
Answer: Obviously their mission to become popular has worked. They don't need to be a good company anymore. They will take the money and run. When the time is right, they will close up shop and reopen with a new name. It is hard to find a business with integrity anymore.
Answer: Stay away. They do not follow up to make things right concerning your order.
Answer: Call customer service (aka customer disservice). This company should be avoided. Deal with a reputable Co like Amazon or its partners, They care.
Answer: I wouldn't order anything big from Wayfair. I had to order the same product 3 times, and each time, the product was damaged. Wayfair rhymes with nightmare for a reason.
