I've ordered from wayfair on several different occasions. From beds, to dresser sets and even pillows for my couch. On two occasions I was sent entirely different items from what I purchased and another time wrong sizes. The problem is in all actuality, the incompetence of the warehouse workers who seemingly pack whatever they want to apparently, but the bigger problem is the customer service and the so called supervisors who handle your issues as if your the one who caused them. I waited over a month for a chest to be delivered and upon arrival turned out to be an entirely different style that I hadn't ordered. I called customer service and after an hour of back and fourth (and no compassion what so ever) my only options were keep the dresser (I didn't want and waited a month for) with a 20 percent discount OR house the dresser in my home for two weeks until THEY decided whether they wanted to come back and get it or would like me to "donate" it. They also told me they would do the "courtesy" of issuing me a refund as if that's not what they were suppose to do. Today I went to buy a nightstand that was listed at 389.00 yesterday on sale with an original price of 495.00 and today the same nightstand is 639.99. When I spoke with a representative about the price increase she informed me her managers only option was to give me 10 percent off. I am completely done with wayfair, they do not value their customers and I highly recommend for people to spend their money elsewhere, with companies that value and appreciate their customers, especially during a pandemic where money is scarce as it is.
Over a month since placing my order for 2 outdoor sofa cushions. Have not received a single valid Wayfair update on the disposition of my order. Waited over an hour on phone before rep could answer. He sent message to warehouse asking they update me on my order's disposition. Told me I'd hear something from them via email by today. Still no notification. If Wayfair is using COVID as an excuse for their poor performance then it's a double fail. I've been receiving shipped home/garden items from large and small companies all over the US throughout the pandemic without issue or significant delays. When brief delays were to occur, that vendor alerted me in advance, which is all any customer really wants the truth plain and simple. With Wayfair, all I get are crickets and repeated credit card authorizations to see if my money will still be there if/when my supposed order ever processes. You've done a great job, Wayfair, in losing a very disappointed customer, and one who is ready to warn others to avoid any similar experience. I'll be canceling this order tonight. The whole thing was a colossal waste of time, expectation, and energy. Never again. Now I know.
I ordered a carpet from Wayfair and right after ordering I realized my old address was on the site for a delivery address. I updated it and they acknowledged receipt of the update. When I went to track it a few weeks later it showed the old address as the delivery address and gave a date. We had to drive over an hour to attempt to pick it up... it never came. I had tried to call the day before but was on hold for 30 minutes and gave up. So, it showed delivery for the next day... now shows delivered... again to the old address. So now we must spend over and hour each way to go pick it up. That's 5 hours of driving because they didn't update the address for delivery, which I updated right after I placed the order. Never using them again. If they can't staff their call centers any better than that or hire employees that do their job they might need to take a look at how they can better their presence.
Call them all day long no one $#*!ing answer.
Bought a king size bed, delivery guy came with half of the bed. And was very rude. Left tons of voicemail. So far issue isn't solved.
I ordered pillows and a blanket and in less then a month they pretty much are falling apart. I try to read reviews and after seeing too many, I'm done with Wayfair.
I will never buy anything else from wayfair. They are a $#*!ty company and I'll nvr recommend them to anyone ever. Plus I want my $#*!n money back from them not being able to deliver the $#*!ing furniture I paid for almost a month and nothing not even my $#*!n refund when I paid 89 for rush... by FedEx for my delivery. They are dirty asf. Pos company.
After reading the bad reviews, I got pretty nervous about calling to request a replacement part that had come damaged. Despite a little bit of a wait, customer service was super quick and friendly and got a replacement part shipped out in the next two days. The chair was fairly low quality, but I paid a low price, so I can't really complain about that. Looks fine, just cheap materials. I'm sure the more expensive chairs are nicer. Anyway, thought it was worth leaving a good review about customer service since it seems they might be stepping it up!
I am a regular online shopper and am so disappointed in Wayfiar. I purchased a rug three weeks ago. It was supposed to be delivered in three days and my card was charged immediately. Three weeks later I'm still waiting on someone to tell me where my rug is sitting. A fedex label was "created" but nothing is showing as shipped. I spent over an hour on hold to speak with someone a week ago who told me to give it until the end of the week and my card would be credited if it was not delivered. I've been trying for a week to get a credit with no luck. The customer service email responses are horrible. Since they don't have to speak with you, they don't care. One person tells me I can get a credit, another tells me i can not. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting to locate my rug. I will never purchase from Wayfair again!
Bought tv stand. 2 pieces broken. Replacements would take over 2 weeks so they sent me whole new unit in 3 days. Same 2 pieces broken. Now they refuse to pick up damaged units. Got refund but now I have to pay someone to haul both to the dump. How is this fair... I am out $120 for haul away and still have no tv stand!
I order a stove and cancel it then they send one off any ways now the credit card company calling my phone telling me about late payments i don't have there product so why should i pay for what i don't have they should of get back there stove in the warehouse already i email them and this person going to reply i should pray the bank before the mess my credit up they already making late payments on my credit score am so mad because i don't have there product i have be calling wayfair for 3 days now about the matter and no one answering i want someone to rectified this matter
I was looking at sheets for my bed and The original price was 789.00 but then I saw they were having a sale and it came up to 589.59 that is too expensive like come I have kids
Don't walk. Run, they will immediately take your money and it may take several months before you receive your item

I ordered two rugs in May. Supposed to get in one week. Didn't get, so I followed up. They changed delivery date a couple weeks and didn't tell me. Then they changed it again a couple times (did tell me). Then on July 7 they told me it shipped and charged my account. They have now changed the delivery date four times without notifying me. Now it is mid August. Even though it shipped July 7. Very unresponsive too. Is this a scam company?
Received our propane firepit, one of the legs was defective. Tried to call the manufacturer all I get was voicemail. Spent 1 HOUR on hold with Wayfair finally hung up. Emails do not work, they are the worst. Will never order from them again, shame company.
Do not buy anything from Wayfair! My daughters headboard came with bedbugs. It is costing us $1,000.00 to fix the problem and Arin P from the customer advocacy team has stopped all communication and will not return my calls. Ordered a freezer that wayfair notified me was in stock 6hrs after they took the money off my debit card they sent me a email saying it was no longer in stock and I would get my money back in 3 to 5 business days highly pissed
Opened up a Wayfair Credit Card. Spent $389.00 on two items. WAS SUPPOSED to get $40.00 off for opening up Credit Card. Called and called, on hold for over an hour. Neither Wayfair, nor the Credit Card company, would refund my $40.00. It was in Plain English that opening a Credit Card and WALLA 40 bucks off. NEVER AGAIN> CARD WENT THROUGH SHREDDER AND ACCOUNT CLOSED.
My husband ordered a pergola from Wayfair and paid for the "assembly", which of course was an additional charge of $299.99. We received the pergola, but never got any confirmation/contact for the assembly. This was in May, so we wait, i understand COVID happened and some delays may be expected. Fast forward to today, July 15th... still NO assembly. We were told there was a mix up on their end and a "booking number" was never generated, so no assembly team was ever notified. Ok, fine, just refund us the $299.99 and we'll assemble the pergola ourselves. I was told no problem, please allow 3-5 business days to process the return... that was in June. Now fast forward to today, July 15th, after several very frustrating phone calls, and an email promising a refund within a week, sent July 1st, Wayfair STILL HASN'T REFUNDED my husband his money. This is ridiculous! How can a company operate this way? Absolutely disgusted with Wayfair, now its onto the Better Business Bureau!
Save yourself a head ache and go with any other company. Nothing ships on time from here and when you try to cancel the order the send you an email with a bogus tracking number and saying it has shipped when in fact only the label has been created and it's still in their warehouse. All this so you'll have to pay for return which in my case is $60! Why should I have to pay for a return when the item is still in your warehouse? Deleting my wayfair app and never using them again! Terrible customer service.
