I ordered a side table. Delivery estimate on invoice was July 31. I looked at the website again on July 17 as the bank charge was present on my statement. It stated it was shipped and the delivery date expected was the 19th of July. On July 21 I emailed advising it was not received and Fed Ex states the label was created but they never received the package at their facility. 3 emails later Wayfair blames the delay on Fed Ex who state the package has still not been sent to them. As of July 28, Wayfair website still says shipped delivery expected July 19, FedEx has not received the package. I looked at the article on line and if I reorder it has a receive date of August 9. It is listed as in stock. This is first and last time I will purchase from them. According to the Better Business Bureau complaints, delivery and customer service with this company is really bad. I have to agree.
This was the first time I used Wayfair. I was buying a patio set. I called them for the order because I needed it as soon as possible and needed to confirm it was available could ship soon. I was told for this particular set it would be about a month. A month came and went with nothing. So I checked the order and now it said shipping estimated like two months later now. I called in again and said I need to cancel because I can't wait all summer for this. Employee they would have to check if it's shipped or not, they can't cancel if it's already shipped. So the next day lo and behold! It suddenly miraculously shipped. So then about a week or more later, part of the order arrived. Not the full patio set, but part of it. So then I had to call in again and find out what is going on. So they ordered a replacement for the item that never arrived. Now that was supposed to ship last week, but of course, nothing. Now it has been two months since my original order. Now I have to chase them down AGAIN and find out where this item is. It's months past when I originally needed the set. And they wouldn't let me cancel, so they could keep the order. NOT HAPPY. Will probably not use Wayfair ever again. Too unreliable in terms of fulfillment times from suppliers. I felt hustled that I couldn't cancel my order when it was not fulfilled as promised. Now I'm still waiting for the patio set. Not happy.
Ordered a couch July 12, received a "delivery date" of July 30, which to everybody and company means when an item will be delivered to the address. On July 26 tracked delivery and saw it no longer had a scheduled delivery date and is now showing sometime after 8/4. Called Wayfair and they say it's showing on time because according to them a delivery date means when it shows up at the warehouse that will eventually delivery it to you. Guess this is how they show short delivery dates for data purposes when actually you have no idea when your packages will arrive. The woman on the phone said the 30th is when it shows up at the warehouse near me. It then Takes about two days for them to get it off the truck. Then I will get an email to arrange for a delivery date where they will eventually get it to my house. God knows when this will be. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM WAYFAIR IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT IT TO ARRIVE BEFORE THE NEXT COMING! Returning the couch. I can get something just as good that I will be able to have this year.
I was quite surprised with the low ratings. However, this was my first purchase buying Fabric by the Yard by Wildon Home®. The site was easy to search for what I needed and provided much information on the fabric stats. I loved how I was able to order fabric samples before placing my orderand it didn't take long to receive. My 3yards of fabric was enough for 6 dining chairs and had extra to make another seat cushion. Chat was helpful in letting me use my expired 10% coupon. Fabric didn't take too long to receive. Packaging was wrapped nicely in thick plastic. I plan to order from site again since my AMEX has offer rewards when you *******@Wayfair.
Every single time I've dealt with Wayfair, I've had an outstanding experience. And, they are dealing with a Karen. Seriously, they are nice, accommodating and do everything in their power to make sure you are happy. They have earned a lifelong customer because of their outstanding customer service each and every time. Thank you Wayfair for being a step above the rest!
I am not going to be ordering from Wayfair again anytime soon. Very disappointed with their delivery. When I ordered this item shortly after receiving that the other item I ordered was not in stocked I decided to cancel it back in June 25th. They said I could not as it has already shipped out. Mind you this was on June 25th phone call. This curtain was to be delivered on July 10th. Now it is July 25th and I still don't have my item. I have called and sent emails with no return calls and no return email back. I should of ordered my curtain at AMAZON also which I did with the blanket they did not have in stocked. A week later I got my order. Now 2 weeks after the original delivery date... NO ITEM. Where is my item. Is anybody home in Wayfair?
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE! If I could give a negative star i would. Actually that's even being too nice. I can't give any stars on this experience. The way this company deals with disaster/damage placement is unacceptable and unprofessional. If I had not called that my item is not delivered yet, they wouldn't have replaced it. My item got damaged During delivery. Somebody dropped the ball and didn't replace my order right away. Now, I'm looking at a week to deliver my item. The least they could do is replacing the item because they still have my money regardless. They of course need to replace it. They didn't offer anything for the inconvenience. They treat their customers terribly. They don't care about their customers. The inconvenience they have given me as a paying customer is very unacceptable. And to think they are open from 9-6pm today and nobody could help me is beyond me. Spend almost 5 hours on the phone dealing with one issue and still can't give their customer satisfaction. I will never order from this company ever again. This is the most horrible experience I have ever encountered in my life. From the way they deal with delivery issues to the way they talk down on people is the worst experience I have ever experienced. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE! Jenelle martin, Annet toland the Supervisor and Krissy the Manager are not very helpful.
I have been waiting for the delivery of my mattress for two months and today they have still moved to Augustthe mattress is important and we have been sleeping on the sofa for two months terrible service!
Worst experience with an online company EVER. I've never even heard of a company with such terrible policies and procedures. After putting my card on file with one of their sales agent (who makes commission), my card was charged up to an extra $50,000 for items that I left in my cart that i clearly told the agent I was not ready to purchase. I did not receive any of these items, and many of the items I did purchase came in either broken, damaged, missing some pieces, or the wrong item.
When I called their customer service to inquire about all the transactions on my card, and for the missing/damaged items, their support team said they would inquire about this and call me back. We had spent over 2 hours going line by line for the transactions and the items. Two weeks went by with no news. When I finally called back, the new agent told me there was nothing on file from my previous call and we had to go all over it again. Once we went line by line again, the agent told me that we had to call our bank and deal with it from their end because their system showed no errors. They refused to refund me the unauthorized transactions, even after the agent told me he could see on their system that these transactions were not made by me - WITHOUT DOING AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE PREVIOUS CALLS/EMAILS/AGENT OR INTO THE DAMAGED GOODS.
I have now spent a combination of over 10 hours with different Wayfair customer service agents and my bank - and still do not have my credit card cleared or my house furnished properly. This company is not doing its due diligence to protect its customers. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME - do not purchase from them.
Tried to cancel 5 days before delivered was told no problem... received package anyway never opened package. Charged to return $26.74. I also ordered another of same item and outdoor furniture total was around $1700 Too much of hazel to order from Wayfair... will stick to amazon great service
I ordered a mattress in early June. The day after I received it and realized it was not going to work, went onto the Wayfair site to start a return. I didn't see the option, so I called. After (not kidding or exaggerating), 2+ hours, someone finally picked up. She said no problem and "issued" a refund for the mattress and asked me to please find someone to donate to because they were destroying them at the warehouse. I said no problem, I would reach out to a local nonprofit I support. I never got my money back. I sent 3 messages via the website. I'm not spending another 2 hours on hold. Their system is clearly breaking down. I had an issue with another order after that. I ordered a dog bed and it was shockingly crappy. The insert was 2 inches smaller than the cover. No quality control at all. I won't ever shop there again and will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

Ordered a bed set that my fiance and I were super excited about for when we get married. The bed came in multiple parts with both the headboard and foot board scratched and with parts of the wood actually shattered with splinters coming off. The packaging was fine so it was easy to tell that they shipped us previously damage parts. Then they sent us some of the wrong wooden pieces for the bed so the bed couldn't even be put together. We tried to get replacement parts and have now waited 4 months without any luck. I will be trying to return this garbage and hopefully never have to think of this scam of a company again. Please save yourself a lot of work and money and avoid this company at all cost.
Worst experience I've ever had. Ordered a bathroom vanity and cabinet a month ago for >$2500 and one of the items never came. It also can't be located and wayfair is doing nothing except sending generic email replies saying we are trying to locate your item. Correction wayfair, it's "my" item until you deliver it. What does that say about a company that sells things they can't even find? No thank you. Requested a full refund and may have to dispute the charge because wayfair refuses to even consider a refund.
Pandemic or not, customer service should NEVER suffer. Communication and a little transparency would go a long way but apparently wayfair can't seem to find those either...

Sometimes these guys do great. Sometimes they are terrible. Right now, I have been on hold for 1 hour trying to get them to send me the hardware kit for this chair that I ordered. Very frustrating to do business with.
I just purchased 2 celling fan call in to customer service to ask for if wayfarer has price mack policy was greeted by the most RUDE AGENT from stating with, when ask for supervisor was hung up on.

I order many things from Wayfair but I am beginning to look elsewhere such as Amazon because lately all of my Wayfair packages are incredibly delayed and customer service does not answer when you call. My last set of orders did not have a tracking number for me to follow delivery status. When I called to inquire, the system put me on hold for over 22 minutes (a long time for a busy mom) and then an automated voice came on and said the "representative I was trying to reach does not have vm and that I needed to email them". Who? Email who? I was just calling the 800 number to find my furniture. They claim that they are delayed due to the current "environment" which I do understand but they need to attend to their customers during this time if they expect us to keep shopping their. It makes me nervous to not even know if my packages have shipped or even get a ball park of how late we are talking here. It's been two weeks and I still cannot get a tracking number or get anyone on the phone to find out anything about my orders.

I ordered a hybrid matters from Wayfair which was in stock at the time of the order. A week after the delivery due date, I called and was told the mattress was out of stock. Customer Service told me they would get back to me when the mattress will ship. I didn't hear from them and so after waiting another week, I called and was told the date when the mattress will be in stock and was given a new delivery date. The website listed the mattress as in stock on the date I was told the mattress was going to be in stock and it was available for new orders. Few days past the new delivery date, I received an email stating the mattress was out of stock and the new delivery date is now 3 months out. What is really frustrating is that Wayfair took new orders for the mattress rather than fulfilling the backlog from previous orders. If you want to have your order delivered on time and avoid Customer Service runaround order elsewhere. I never had this issue with Amazon.
