Hate this company it's worst customer service. That sent all my package to the wrong address and was outside for a week being rained on. I spent hours waiting to talk to customer service to know resolve ask to speak to superviser they put me on hold even long then ask if they could call me back never called back. My Product does have all the part it suppose to have in the box. Do not order anything from them.
Wayfair disappointment, I don't recommend at all. As much as I was excited about furnishing my new Apt from Wayfair as much as I have disappointed and disappointed. The photos are not real, Quality is normal, or even poor if compared to prices. I received a $ 2,350 dresser without the mirror, then they told me that the mirror (included in the picture when buying) was not included, and that was not available for sale through the site also. Of course I returned the purchase, but the biggest problem today is the seventeenth day I didn't get refund yet.
We ordered a vent for our kitchen in plenty of time to receive it for our complete remodel. Didn't come. They said the order hadn't gone through their system. Would we like to reorder? Yes. The order screwed up again. Now we are in a pinch, time-wise. Over a total of more than 8 hours on the phone (on hold & talking), we were promised it was shipping overnight 4 different times. It never happened. We were told someone would call us back the next day. Never happened. After 10 days of this, someone did finally call us back to say the second order never went through either, but they would be happy to try a third time. Oh & by the way, 2 of their reps had promised that the item would be at no charge to us because of all the problems, and then during this last phone call they took that back as well, saying they would have to charge us full price after all. No thank you. After putting our kitchen reno back weeks, we finally cancelled, ordered elsewhere & promised never to order anything else from Wayfair. The rep said, "Okay." WOW! We lost several weeks of progress with nothing to show for it. Wayfair is TERRIBLE!
Returned patio sofa cover to Wayfair Checked my Wayfair credit card and see the balance for the amount. As of July 7th, spoke to Wayfair and Comenity Card, cannot get it resolved forced to pay my card
We have been a customer of Wayfair for a few years... We have never spoken with a customer service rep that has fallen below par expectations like I have with a rep name Mariah. She isn't overtly rude she is "cold"vertly insufficient. I hope you record your calls... I called twice this morning the first call the rep was very helpful but when I call back 30 minutes later I spoke with Mariah. I remember her because I have spoken with her in the past but unlike this time I didn't bother to send and email. When I asked to speak with a supervisor she provided a gloom outlook for speaking to one of a 2 hour wait minimum. I hope this message finds it's way to the right person and the call can be listened to because Mariah isn't the best example of our Wayfair experience but she's truly the worse example. Please listen to the call and judge for yourself. I remembered speaking with her in the past and I instantly recognized her name and "cold"vert approach to customer service. Feel free to contact either myself or my wife if you have any questions. We believe the phone call if you are able to retrieve speaks for itself.
If anyone speaks with Mariah run don't walk away she's not helpful and you will find my review to be spot on
Like many internet purchase sites they hide behind the so called service center. As per usual the wait for the call to be answered is long but remember that they 'are receiving a high number of calls at present' & 'your call is very important to them'. To be honest I found it easier to contact them by the internet but I recommend copying yourself on any emails to keep a record.My negative review is based upon my experience which seems to be what a lot of others have experienced. What is apparent is the fact that there are a huge amount of negative experiences mentioned here & the management of this company have done nothing about it so in my opinion they are either not fit for the job or do not care, I requested to speak to a manager/supervisor but surprise no one was available. The outcome of my experience of this company has resulted in any future purchases online is going to be kept to an absolute minimum. One last observation is that when paying for an item online the money leaves your account in a split second yet refunds take '3 to 5 days'.
Worst Online Store with deceptive products description
Wayfair is the worst online company I have ever dealt with. As a first time customer, I purchased some bedding including quilts from Wayfair. The product description and specification did not match the merchandise I received. The customer help desk person was extremely rude and arrogant. She told me that you should read the description and product shipped was correct to the description. Wayfair does not pay shipping for the returned goods because they know that customer will have to think twice before returning the goods. Customer will be out of pocket for shipping charges for returning the goods and end up with complete loss. A double whammy! I will never again purchase from Wayfair. Amazon, Walmart, and other businesses provide such a better customer service. Not sure how Wayfair can stay in business with such a bad policy and customer service, and selling extremely bad merchandise which does not even meet the description and specification provided on their website.
I have canceled order within 30 mins, and yet they shipped. Now they are charging for a label to return. Upon cancellation, I got a mail saying they would process on a business day. By the mid of the next available business day, I get an email that the item is shipped. Nevertheless, I tried to call the customer support with a wait time of more than 30 mins, I waited for 20 mins, and it got disconnected. I need to pay for a shipping label even though I canceled my order immediately. I don't know how the supply chain has missed my cancellation. Wayfair will be my last recommendation to anyone.
They apparently will sell stuff that they don't even have. Be prepared to wait. 3to 5 days shipping is a lie. Never again will I consider WAITFAIR
We purchased a sofa from Wayfair that arrived on June 18. We then spent $200 to have put together, only to discover that it was missing parts. We called Wayfair and we were told that the parts would get shipped out in a few days on June 22. We were fine with that. We gave away our old furniture as we waited to receive the parts. They never came. I called again and I was told there was a delay and that the parts would get shipped out in a week, but that I would have them by July 2--- before the holiday weekend. On July 3, I called again and I was told there was yet another delay, this time until August 21! Apparently, the parts they would have sent over would have come from another sofa... and they preferred to sell the sofa to someone else rather than rectify the situation with us. I am writing this as I have been waiting on hold for over a half hour to speak with a manager. Wayfair just lost a good, long time client.
I applied for this card in Feb 2020 and was approved. I made a purchase in March and payed it off before the end of April, and I have not made a purchase since. I planned on making a purchase this month for some outdoors furniture, but today i saw on my credit report that they have closed my account. I guess because I have a zero balance and they are not making any money off me. They do not want to report that zero balance to the credit bureau and it benefits me. I do not reccommend this company
I should have read some reviews before ordering a sofa, of all things. But, this is the time of Covid-19, and I couldn't go out to shop. The sofa looked perfect on line, but when it came it wasn't quite like the picture. It's a much darker brown leather and the legs are not curved like the picture, they are more modern. The sofa came in two boxes, but not on the same day, so the second box had to be chased down and delivered. It was a lot of work to assemble. One of the cushions on the bottom has been pushed out of shape by the packing. I'm not going to order from Wayfair again.
Ordered a table on 6/8/2920. It's almost a month now and the table still has not shipped from there warehouse. Last time I order from them. Very poor customer support.
I have used wayfair for years and was always very impressed with the service. NOT ANYMORE! I had three items that were supposed to have been delivered this week that have not even shipped. According to customer service, no update is available for estimated delivery. I paid for a vanity and they never even processed that order. A bathtub that had supposedly shipped has no shipping company information or estimated delivery date. Never again!
Go to Mass BBB, read hundreds of horror stories, UPS there delivery is having trouble. Save your endless problems and buy else where.
I am appalled at the piss poor service and utter lack of organization, communication, and overall clusterf*ck of an experience. We ordered a couch that, upon delivery at my house, was discovered to have water damage. We ordered another after four back and forth phone calls with conflicting messaging. A week later, we're told our couch is no longer in stock. I wait for over an hour to ask a CSR to match our price if we find another. About another week later, we find one that Wayfair is willing to match (our fourth preferred option.) We place the new order, that I'm unable to track via the website, and was told to reach out to the local warehouse around 6/24/20, when the couch would be shipped. I reached out to a CSR online whose response clearly indicated she didn't read my message or look into it at all. NOW, today on 7/1/20, I contact the warehouse and they're telling me the couch is yet AGAIN delayed. I asked if anybody was going to reach out and he told me he's never heard of that happening. How are you a huge company and yet offer piss poor solutions and services? I'm furious. We're still out $1500 with no couch, two and a half months after we were supposed to receive one.
How embarrassingly awful do your services need to get to require oversight to fix a problem? I would never have wasted my time with you or your affiliates if I knew how much of my time would be dedicated to trying to solve a problem Wayfair caused with my money.
We've purchased a wardrobe cabinet, which was much overpriced, they were shipping it for over two months and after we've received it there was parts missing. We've called numerous times without a luck. They kept sending us to their website where we could not do anything. Finally I was able to chat with someone and of course they kept sending me same nothing worth links to their website, See picture below (right corner) of their respond to my complaining of customer service. Never again will order from them and will make sure that everyone I know will NEVER order from them as well.
I ordered 4 pendant lights form Wayfair. They ended up shipping only one. They kept stating the others would ship, but when it appeared that wasn't going to happen after one missed date after another, I cancelled the order and shipped the one back. I received a partial refund for the one I sent back, but kept getting strung along on the remaining portion they never even sent out. Had to eventually file a charge back with my credit card company. For all those in similar shoes, do a charge back on your card. It may be the only way you'll get your money back.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM WAYFAIR! I ordered a bathroom vanity at the end of April. It arrived within a couple weeks. However, the countertop to the vanity was shattered. I submit a request for a new one to be sent. It took them 2 months to deliver the replacement... and guess what? It was shattered. I am beyond pissed. That is absolutely ridiculous that I had to wait that long for a replacement when they broke the first one. And it is unbelievable that they would let the second one arrive shattered as well. I waited on hold for 45 minutes to speak to someone. Their customer service is awful and the quality of the countertop is obviously not good. I will never buy from Wayfair again and I highly suggest you don't either.
Doing on line ordering. Advertising said get credit card now & save $40 on order. SHOULD have said on next order. Ask the credit card Company why our bill did not have they $400 discount and they said that we still had to pay the extra $40. That is very misleading advertisement. Product was good after we got replacement parts but will not use them again because the customer service department is not properly managed
