I waited for over a month for outdoor sectional to come back into stock. Within hours of receiving the email notifying that the set was in stock I placed my order on June 14th with estimated delivery date of June 30th. Here it is the 29th and the items haven't left California for arrival in FL tomorrow. When I finally got through to Wayfair, I was advised that because of COVID the shipment was being held in Fedex warehouse and won't arrive for another 10 days or beyond. Said that because of COVID more people were ordering online causing backlogs and the warehouse wasn't fully staffed due to social distancing (as if warehouses are packed with people shoulder to shoulder. Chrissy failed to mention that Wayfair laid off hundreds of people back in February. Then Chrissy said Fedex was backlogged because priority was given to shipping medical supplies as hospitals didn't have sufficient medical supplies -- hospitals have had plenty of supplies for over a month now. As I told Chrissy, ALL of these COVID circumstances (which are much less now than 2 months ago) were known to Wayfair on June 14th when they gave the date of June 30th. It was despicable to me how Chrissy tried to use COVID as the excuse for Wayfair getting me to order from them instead of a competitor by misleading me as to a delivery date that they knew they would not be able to meet. She said COVID so many times, I think I'm coming down with it. No integrity.

Misleading Images

Bought bedding from Wayfair that was supposed to be Coral, it was hot pink! Then they just me the full shipping to send it back... even though the pictures on their website were completely misleading! I will never buy anything from them again!

I ordered this beautiful white 55 inch TV stand. My handyman arrived on time so that part was great. However while putting the stand together he realized that there was a missing part (Letter O was missing). I called Wayfair and the representative agree they were sending me the part it has been three days now and I still have not received it. I just attempted to slide the TV stand over and the bottom part fell off which means he did not install it tight enough. NEVER AGAIN!

Just made my first and last purchase from Wayfair. They adverised a quality assembled loveseat. What I got was an unassembled low quality item. When I said I wanted to return it they said it would be no problem as long as I was able to professionally pack it, take it the Fed Ex (I would need a truck to move it), and pay the $82.00 shipping fee. Their customer satisfaction guarantee is a complete sham. Watch out for this outfit. They sell garbage at inflated prices and don't stand behind it m

False Advertisement

My wife and I bought a new TV stand. There are many stands that claim to fit up to 70 inches and even get past the filter when searching on the website. We ended up buying one for a 65 inch TV and it STILL didn't fit the stand. It turns out the width of the product was only 58 inches. How is it supposed to fit the size of a 70 inch TV?

Also, one of the parts came in cracked. Just a poor experience for our first time purchase with Wayfair and we will never be buying another product from them again.

Don't bother

I wish I had seen this before purchasing. My item arrived damaged and I asked for a replacement. When I found out I had to wait almost two weeks after already waiting, they said they could waive the $53 expedited shipping fee and the item hasn't even shipped yet! Won't be a customer here

Birthday gift

Received a gift card and proceeded to order. Delivery to be 06/12. Two weeks later and no details?. Called to get a response. I'm now 40 mins on hold and don't know if there in the office? Not what I would call a Customer Service oriented corporation. I've had great response from other internet providers.

Shady company

Very shady business, I placed an order for an outdoor loveseat, come to find out it would take 3-4 weeks for it to get here and I needed something before then. The very next morning I tried to cancel my order, but was informed that it had "already shipped" so they would not refund me. Avoid using this company

I ordered a dining set from Wayfair.com and they sent me a shipping confirmation for the table that had a fake (none working) tracking number which made me look into the item in my Wayfair account, the message for the table showed the Item as "out of stock and unable to tell when the table would ship" however Wayfair still shipped the chairs and when I tried to call their customer service three separate times with the intention to request the order to be filled when all item were in stock, I ended up sitting on hold for a total of 4hr and never reached Wayfair customer service. As a result I decline the chairs delivery through FedEx BUT Wayfair reply in my account was to change the status of my WHOLE ORDER (including the table WITH THE FAKE TRACKING #) as delivered.

I was forced to open a case with my bank... SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF TROUBLE AND AVOID THIS COMPANY.

They set me up with a line of credit they gave me a credit card number, they gave me an amount, and they let me purchase merchandise. After stating the screw-up that they made and caused me all of the sudden I've been told that they cut my credit card off. Obviously I have a balance, but all of a sudden my credits not good enough. So tell me how many companies do you know that give you the credit card, give you a balance to use oh, and allow you to use it before checking your credit. A little $#*! backwards if you ask me.

If I could give zero starts, I would!

My wife and I have just moved and need to buy some furniture, so we bought a couch from wayfair. We placed the order on June 11th, and were originally told the delivery date would be June 15. June 15th passed, so did June 16,17, and 18th. I then sent an email saying that my delivery date has passed by a few days and I haven't gotten an update nor a couch. 2 days later I get an email back saying that my new estimated delivery date would be June 26th with no explanation of why I hadn't gotten an update on my delayed delivery until I reached out to them. June 24th came, 2 whole days before the new estimated date, I open our door and see 2 boxes sitting outside our door! Hooray! We bring the boxes in, start putting them together all excited that our couch is finally here. We get all of the parts put together and we look at the masterpiece... 3 parts of a 4 section couch. We got 1 end piece with all the cushions, the middle piece with all the cushions, the foot rest with no cushions, and no second end piece. Don't worry, that's not even the best part. The couch is super comfortable... for a child. The pictures and measurements on the website are very misleading. Knowing the headache it was to get an update on the delivery, I look forward to the migraine of trying to return this rip off of a couch and trying to get a refund.

The customer service sucks, and the product is about the same quality

Worse experience i have ever had in my life. I'm 19 year old i work 2 jobs plus an intern. I work hard for my money no help from my parent cause i only have one and they just left my package out side for someone to just steal it also damage my steps not even knock on my door no nothing. I had to wait on the phone like a hour and half just to get an answer then they gonna tell me i have to go out of my way to make a police report i hardly have time to make it home and sleep mind you i have 2 jobs plus my intern. I leave for school tomorrow back in Cape Town South Africa stood outside on my break on intern time wasted a about 2 hour 1 of those hour was waiting for someone to pick up. After my overnight job i gotta rush home to pack then back off to school. Thank you for robbing me and wasting my time wayfair cause there's Ntn fair about you guys only bad ways. Enjoy that money i spent with you guys. And thanks for Ntn customer service team Andrew Sherrod and Janet anderson. Ps Walik Robinson the hard working black kids you guys robbed.

Ordered dining room set on 6/1, Notice from Wayfair that it was shipped on 6/2. On 6/16 asked for the status. Answer was they are checking and will get back. No word as of 6/23. Called and endured a long wait to finally get the information that they did not know where it was and a search would take 5-10 days at a minumum. We cancelled and will never buy from them again.

I ordered porch furniture early June and it is llist. Working for hours on phone just to get to Customer service - Supervisor Rachel has not followed up at all after multiple phone calls to get status and my money back. They can't figure out where the order is or if it ever even shipped. DO NOT go through the nightmare of ordering from this company. Horrible customer service follow up.

Fraudulent Charges

We made an order and the Wayfair site doubled the order, which we didn't know until we received them. When we tried to return one whole order ( 8 boxes) they wanted to charge us a shipping and handling fee. We have disputed it and received credit on credit card, but this company tries every month to bill me the fee. I heard from delivery company that Wayfair is known for this. Whether this is a one time case or is really a scam by Wayfair, becarefull. We will never order from a company with low level of ethics again.

Covid 19 purchase

I purchased a replacement canopy top for my patio. With the Covid 19, I was unable to get anyone to come out to put the product on. As soon as we reached phase 2 I had someone come out, the canopy is short. I contact Wayfair to return the product for the correct one, but was told 30 days only. Covid played no part in the problem as far as they were concerned. Wow, the country shuts down, but not the lack of service. No purchases there.

Terrible!

They advertise shipping within 24 hours, seven days later my order still has not shipped. The price dropped while I was waiting for my order and they would not honor the price drop. I cancelled my order and they acted like I could not cancel it, but I locked my credit card so they can't bill me now, so I bet they cancel it now. I will never order from them again! Just awful, TERRIBLE!

I had ordered a swinging basket, (egg chair), for my birthday that was scheduled to arrive at the end of June. I ordered it June 4th after reading the reviews for the chair on the site. I got an email saying they would let me know when my item shipped. Once it got to be about the 15th and I hadn't heard anything else I started to get worried that something was wrong so I googled wayfair orders taking forever and found all these reviews of people being scammed. I immediately canceled my order to which they sent me an email saying they would see if it was possible to cancel my order or not. Which it should be since it hasn't shipped, but they took my money already and it is still up in the air whether or not I'll even get it back. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM WAYFAIR.COM!
