I ordered an item may 26th with a delivery date of June 18th today is the 22nd and i have not received my item or any updated shipping information. When i look online it still says delivery date of June 18th. I have been on hold for one hour and 20 minutes so far to get an updated delivery date.
Was on hold for TWO HOURS! Finally hung up. My item was never delivered and Fed Ex said I would have to contact wayfair to file a claim. But there is no email address and I dont have time to wait on hold for 2+ hours. I will NEVER do buisness with this company ever again and I will do my best to tell everyone I know to NEVER use wayfair.
Ordered my bed on 6/6, it was shipped on 6/8. There is no information on their website and customer service told me that they don't know where it is, that's after waiting 1 hour and 56 minutes on the phone.
Horrible and worst customer service! I received a defected item. I have been waiting for replacement parts for over a month, finally decided to returned it and waiting for 3 weeks for the credit to go back to my account.
I am a general contractor and have used Wayfair for years. I understand the challenges faced by them and others during this time of the pandemic. My business has also suffered but I have remained customer focused. Wayfair has not. I have spent hours on the phone waiting to get through to customer service only to be hung up on. Emails, direct messages on twitter and promises of call backs from a supervisor have all failed. NO callback as promised and no answer. The vanity is 2 weeks late shipping. The delivery was scheduled for Thursday and they blew me off. If there was a 0 rating, it would be too high. I will let all my customers know to stay clear of Wayfair.
Placed an order on May 17th. The day it was to be delivered I rec'd an email stating it had been backordered. Placed a call to them and waited for an hr on hold. Finally spoke w someone amd she apologized and gave me 340.00 off my item along w a new delivery date. Again once that delivery date approached i rec'd another email stating it was backordered once again... I had even asked the girl, "if its not going to be in stock, let me know. I will order something else." SMH... This is so unprofessional... Not happy one bit!
I bought some deck furniture on clearance. About a week later I received an email that the items were not available, but here's some others you might like to buy (for more money). I probably should not reward bad practices, but ended up ordering the more expensive items because I still had the need and just wanted to be done with the purchase. They did arrive and the quality was not great, but it'll work, I guess.
My order was never shipped out. After two weeks l called and was waiting for 45 minutes. Call got disconnected. I wish that I saw the reviews before I placed the order. NEVER BUY ANYTHING ON THIS SITE OR THE APP.
They shipped a completely incorrect, damaged item, just so they could check the 'shipped' box. When following up, they didn't actually even HAVE the item.
In addition:
- over a 1 1/2 HOUR wait to speak with customer service
- we were notified to keep the damaged item for up to 2 weeks just incase the want the item back. IT"S A SHOWER PAN! IT'S GIGANTIC!
- and of course we missed out install deadline since the item didn't arrive in time.
As a business client, we will never be able to use them again. Far too unreliable.
Iam trying to return a sofa i tray call to Wayfair 3 times to return it, I wait 1 hour and the call goes down. On the site do not select me to return. Obviously you don't want to return it. The sofa came all wrong, the quality never includes anything and always understands a lot on the site. I deserve respect and resolve a situation.
THIS COMPANY OVER AND OVER HAD EMAILED WHICH STOPPED NOW SENDING ME HARASSING TEXTS ABOUT PRODUCTS THAT I AM NOT INTERESTED IN. I WENT TO THE SITE TO UNSUBSCRIBE TO NO AVAIL BECAUSE I AM NOT ON THEIR PRIORITY LIST. I WANT THE TEXTS TO "STOP" OR I AM GOING TO REPORT THE COMPANY TO THE FCC.
Took six weeks to get the light. And when it arrived it's marked 165 V to 265 V. Naturally it doesn't work on 110 V. I emailed customer service and they replied they only sell stuff in the United States that works on 110 V. I emailed back since it doesn't work on 110. I wanted to return it. That's the last I heard from them, they refused to email me back.
Get furniture wherever else you can. Not only was my couch put on backorder twice, I asked the question for clarity on a potential delivery date, and they canceled my order as a response. I could never reach a real person over the phone, and you spend about 10 minutes talking to an automated machine. Do not recommend.
Will never buy anything from this company again. Overpriced, junk, damaged when I received it. Don't ever buy from these people.
Ordered storage containers and they sent something different from the picture. I have been on hold for an hour and a half. This is my first and last time I will order from them again. Thankfully I didn't order furniture. I couldn't imagine.
I spent 264.00 on 2 products. I ordered and was given a delivery date of 6/10/20. I never received and they ignored my customer service email. I finally had to get the money put back on my card. They said the items suddenly sold out and were on "back order". They sent me NO notification of that and those SAME items are on their site right now for sale showing in stock... very shady company.
I ordered a gazebo on May 10th from Wayfair.com. It shipped May 21st. We found out through an email that it was damaged during transport on May 29th, so they shipped it back to the warehouse. Our new ETA would be July 15th with a lousy 10% off for troubles. I was so furious, I just wanted a refund. It took them EIGHTEEN DAYS to give my money back! Never again Wayfair!
Overstock.com shipped our new gazebo in two days!
We ordered a 7 piece sofa/2 chair/coffee table set on April 28,2020. The sofa and the coffee table were delivered on May 8,2020, but without the two matching chairs. It is now June 16,2020 and we have STILL not received the chairs despite more than 5 phone calls (with more than 1-2 hour wait times on hold) and several email exchanges. After being told that the two chairs were at the warehouse awaiting FedEx pickup, we received and email today telling us the chairs were out of stock and would be shipped by July 1,2020 directly from the manufacturer. After spending over $1700 for this set, this is how we are being treated. Unfortunately, this seems to be a pattern for Wayfair and they seem to have no problem spinning untruths to push you along. AWFUL customer service!
Bought an expensive table that arrived damaged. Cannot get through to anyone to arrange reshipment of the damaged part. Wayfair's website directs you to a specialist, who then wants to charge you to speak with them!
I ordered a mini freezer. The picture shows a wood looking front panel and handle on it. It did not come with those. I contacted Wayfair 4 times and was told every time that those parts would arrive. When they did not, I googled the manufacturer directly and was told that that freezer NEVER comes with the parts as the picture showed. I have to find a private contractor near me to make me those parts. So I'm back on hold (each time it's over an hour) waiting to see what they will do to return this. I no longer have the box it came in because my homeowners association makes me dispose of boxes, etc. within a few days. Beyond frustrated!
