After Waste Connecrions failing several weeks ina row of picking up trash on our designated day. We cancelled service and went with Eagle. That has been over a month ago and after numerous phone calls to their business and speaking with Samantha, they still have not picked up their two containers.
I have been using Waste Connections in Justin Texas since I moved to Sanger Texas in November 2019. At first it was good but over the years there have been many times that they missed pick up in my area. Since January 2022, I have tried to get an additional trash can for my residence. Ordered online, sent emails and have talked to customer service. It is now June 2022 and have been unable to get the additional can. However, they did start charging for the trash can but still have not received. Customer service and distribution has no idea how to deal with their jobs. Management needs to get control of the situation.
If there was a way to give negative stars I would. The just forget to pick up trash and the women in the local front office are rude and just want more and more charges. WOULD not recommend to even give them a chance
Prior to my five year contract expiring I contacted other companies about their rates and most of them were cheaper than Waste Connections (WC). In contacting WC sales person Allan Valenzuela, He quoted me a similar low quote via email. When the new term started I paid what I was quoted but instead I ended up getting bills with late fees as the amount was much higher alleging that as I did not sign a contract the monthly rate is higher. I was forced to pay the new made up rate as the tenants needed a place to put their trash. Talk about extortion.
Waste Connections is by far the worst waste company in Calgary to deal with - there is not a low enough scale to put them on - their management staff will do nothing to help resolve an issue - they charge for services like Fuel and Environmental charges every month whether they dump your bin or not - their auto renewal contracts are next to impossible to get out of - they require REGISTERED LETTERS in a very Specific time frame other wise you are renewed and stuff you and your company and there is nothing they will do for you - They even cancelled our service agreement via an e-mail and yet continued to insist that we were still under contract
We have the best team that comes down Hill Ave. In Ocoee on Wednesdays. These guys go above and beyond to help us with our lawn cuttings. Two super men, Adreine and Devaris. I believe are their names. Kudos to them!
They told me il100 sq feet of of bulk i ad 75 i measured it and they just drove right past didn't pick it up tell me why just left it there I had to rent a truck a drive to the dump i wish RAD still did my pick up
The amount of times I have to call and tell this company to do their job is ridiculous. I'm done babysitting this company and wasting my time.
My attempt was to advise the pick up person that I paid for bill removal, he refused to speak to me as if I wasn't there, then drove away. Still no resolution
Thumbs up to Jeramie and Irvin! Thank You Missed putting my trash out on time. However, on their way back, they noticed my can was just put out and they stopped to picked it up.
My dad passed away and signed a contract with them in 2014 for 50 bucks
The contract is suppose to be over in 2019 but it has a clause where it automatically renews for another 5 years. They are taking advantage of us because of dads death. He died right when the renewal would have stopped JUST BEWARE THEY DONT TELL YOU ANYTHING ABOUT AN AUTOMATIC RENEWAL! In addition our ratew has gone up 80 percent since he died two years ago in November. Talked to many people and I am now dealing with a manage
I will let you know how this play out. PLEASE READ AND OPT OUT OF THE AUTOMATIC RENEWAL. I know my dad would have said no but he is dead and the original sales person is gone so they are taking advantage of the situation SO SAD

We signed up in August of 2020 and our quarterly cost was $90. This quarter, Nov 2021-Jan 2022 is $137.56. That is almost a 35% increase where a competitor doesn't have yearly price increases and we just signed up for a $90.00 all fees/taxes included price per quarter. We had several instances where our trash was not picked up and we made a request on the WCI app. Our account does not reflect these requests and now that we are canceling our service, we are being charged a $25.00 cancellation fee without having been notified at sign up of this fee or having a contract with WCI.
Wish I could give them negative stars. As their prices for monthly residential service continues to rise, now about $65 with tax, their reliability and service continues to drop. And when you call to find out why, once again, your trash was not picked up, the story changes daily (i. E. truck broke down, driver is sick, we are running behind, etc.). I have asked for a supervisor to call me several different times, but I never get a call. We finally cancelled our service after many years as a customer and went with Roadrunner Disposal at just $30 per month.

This company supposedly bought out elite services without telling their clients. They billed my for late fees for non paid charges when I was not getting billings. Come to find out they were mailing them to my projects address that does not have mail service set up yet. They also do not do prorated service so when you have the porta jon picked up in the first part of the month they want paid for the entire month. What a rip off. Do not use this service unless you want poor customer service and overcharges.
In 8 days 5 times the trucks broke down. I quit after the 8 days and still dont have my two checks. Called the office twice now to be told they mailed my checks. The office is 20 miles from me it doesnt take 7 days for the mail. Angry past employee out of Corpus Christi.
We have both residential and commercial account. The commercial side is beyond horrible. We have had to contact them 4 times to get our trash picked up because they just don't come. They took about 6 weeks just to even drop off the dumpster. Everytime we call it "oh yes" we see that in our notes. We have even tried to cancel and no one will get back with us. We also canceled our residential service because of how horrible they have been on the commercial side.
I literally just want to rent a large dumpster because Im moving and YOU CANNOT GET ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE OR HELP! THEY CAN TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT YOU CANNOT GET ANY ASSISTANCE! THIER POOR EXCUSE OF A VIRTUAL ASSISTANT IS LITERALLY A JOKE!
I work for Real Property Management Solutions and I had a tenant issue regarding Recycling bins that needed to be replaced and Christine went above and beyond for me and I really appreciate her politeness and attentiveness to the situation. Kathy Rollins
Being a new customer to Waste Connections, fortunately I was home today and I met one of the friendliest crew members, Jeffery. This fella was so energetic, well spoken and happy. Service can't get any better than that!
He also placed my container back in the proper place before departure, unlike others last week.
Two weeks in a row I'm not seeing litter debris floating around the neighborhood!
I hope other customers realize how fortunate they are when they have someone of service on his level.
I hope his superiors see this review and recognized him for outstanding service!
