This is the second time I've used Vital Check. Both times went exactly as they showed online. I did call my birth state bc the certificate looked so different but the depth said they changed it and verified it was sent. Once again, Vital Check came through.

I had time sensitive material that I needed asap and there was an address issue. Vital check sent a link to make corrections but it was useless as ups said I could make no changes to my order. I went straight to ups, I did want the runaround with vital check, and was able to pick my order up from the ups hub at the airport... I got the documents I needed but not the service I paid for

I was very disappointed. There's a lot of information on my specificket is wrong and I have to find a way to go all the way out to this property. Or place of property and tell me that I have to pay for them to fix the mistakes and everything in computer should be right. And what I felt out was right. I got my mother's name wrong birth rate not dead. I don't even know where I was born at. I'm so confused or why they can't see an assistant and put my information in this in a system on a birthday ticket because it's all wrong.

In early January 2024 I ordered a copy of my NY marriage certificate thru vital records online which turned out to be Vitalchek and paid extra for express -- total of $100. A few weeks later (after refund period) I receive a letter from VitalChek that my request was sent to NY vitals department I would receive it between July - August. When I contacted them on website I was told that the express money was to send it fedx to the department. All of this info was not available when I ordered it online. Today I received a letter (4/24/24) a reminder of what I ordered, etc.
Totally a scam in my eyes. If I would have know the time it would take, I NEVER would have ordered. I needed it quickly for SS administration.

We do not authorize them to use our name or our service. Often times what happens is that the customer initiates an order through one of these third party services and provides them all the vital application information and pays a large fee. When the customer agrees to their terms and conditions, they essentially give the third-party company permission to act as their representative. Since the third-party company has all your information they then turn around and initiate an order in the VitalChek system as if they were you. From our end, it appears as if you, the actual customer, is entering the order and we charge you accordingly. Unfortunately, we have no way to detect that another company is involved. The order simply appears as any other new customer order. Please contact us with your order number and will be happy to look into this for you. 02/22/2024 Received email from Vitalchek stating my husband's Birth Certificate we ordered had been mailed and should arrive by 02/26/2024. It never arrived, I cannot get response to emails, I cannot get a person on the phone (always on hold) and when I just contacted them via chat, the rep said we would need to order another and he suggested UPS instead of mail. No refunds, no assistance, just told reorder and pay again and pay MORE for UPS shipping. NO THANKS!
