The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

Bought Adele tickets as desperate to get two. Completely hidden charges totally £130 added to the price of tickets. Still in shock at how I could get totally ripped off by crooks. This site should be shut down. The pay day loans of the ticket world, but with no regulation. Adele should be ashamed- has a site selling a few tickets and the main tickets go unregulated and end up on scam sites such as this. Adele has let fans down. Sorry to say it but it's true.
Purchased on Tuesday 2 tickets for El Clasico match on 3rd of December. Initial price 420 euros/ticket plus booking changers plus whatever whatever whatever... came to 1200 euros plus... today we got the tickets... Face value 160 euros/ticket. Rip off 880 euros at least. $#*!ig thieves.Do not buy through them!
This homepage is a rip off:
- They charge double the price than the official concert homepages
- They charge a booking fee which is not sufficient. E.g. 263.01 SGD when the ticket price was 471 SGD
The booking fee is never mentioned anywhere it just says "Booking, Handling VAT" - what booking fee or not and how much?
Let's stand together and collect experiences of methods on how you can get your money back.
More feedback much appreciated!
Hidden booking fees and rip off charges. Have ended up spending an extra £100 for a £65 ticket for an event that was meant to be a Christmas present. Completely put a downer on it now. Hidden charges not displayed until confirmation email arrived, to then find out company policy prohibits refunds or cancellations. CON MERCHANTS, AVOID!
Paid £290 for 2 x tickets to see Green Day in Manchester. Tickets arrived today, face value £55 each. These tickets were my daughters xmas present. Will never use these TICKET SCALPER again. AVOID!
Booked tickets for adele don't mind paying a bit extra to guarantee seats they charged with hidden costs £460 for two £95 seats. Dont touch them they will rip you off big time totally disgusting
So upset at paying 289 pound for tickets, they have arrived and only 37.50 per ticket plus 6.50 fee how can this be possible, it has completely spoiled the event and we are so far at the back we wont see anything. Never ever will i use viagogo again and i will make sure everyone knows what they have done. A discrace
Rip-off scam merchants Don't go near Viagogo

Supposedly the tickets will be sent 3 days before the concert YEAH RIGHT! LIKE THAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN!
Any emails to them just bounce and they have a no cancellation policy
I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. DISHONEST AND DISGUSTING
This site is a blatant rip off. You do not discover the handling fees ect until after the purchase and there was no indication that the purchase was in Euros rather than Australian dollars.
Worst experience ever buying tickets online! Ordered 2 tickets for my wife and kid, they never arrived, no email, no nothing. Cannot log in to the site but they did debit my credit card almost $300. Now saying they have no record of the order! These guys are thieves!
Will be filing a charge back on my credit card.
I bought Pete Tong presents Ibiza Classic tickets from Viagogo back in March 2016, with the total cost to me of £168.07. Tickets arrived in the post yesterday 23rd November 2016 with the event next week, ticket price of £35 each, £70 total. I understand a booking fee etc but I've paid £98.07 over the face value price on the ticket. They do not make this clear enough that you are paying way over the face value. Complete scam!
Paid $399 each for two tickets to Guns N Roses when they turned up ticket price was $350 not to mention the $100 each booking fee. Will never use again
Won't be using viagogo again an absolute rip off, paid £367 all round for a £86 rugby ticket
Discussing
Last night, I bought tickets for the Adele Concert on Brisbane. They've advertised it for $182 but was charged at the last for the huge booking fees. Upon checking my bank account, they have debited $500! Apparently, in the fine gray words upon checking out says that they are charging me in Euros as the seller of the ticket prefers it that way! What a big rip off! I know it's also my fault because I forgot to read the reviews but apparently I got caught up with the pressure of the tickets being sold out.
Also, the latest that tickets will be delivered 3 days before the event! But I clearly read upon checking out that it stated I will receive it within the week.
After the transaction, I immediately called the bank to file for a dispute and cancel my card however they said that couldn't do anything as we should be contacting the merchant if I wanted for a refund even if the money is still pending. Apparently, it says in their site that they all the goods sold are final with no refunds or cancellations, customer service told me not to worry because they guarantee that I will get my tickets.
I feel ripped off, and will never ever use this site. Hope they go to hell!
I paid £104.33 for 2 tickets, they arrived by post in good time, however when we arrived at the venue having queued to get through security for about 20 minutes we went through the scanning process to be told that our tickets had already been used earlier by someone else. We were totally embarrassed and treated as if we were the perpetrators. The tickets were immediately confiscated and we were told to go to your office at 02. This was at least a 25 minute all-round walk, we were at your office for at least 30 minutes and needless to say when we got new tickets we had to queue again and missed the first 30 minutes of the Murray / Wawrinka match All because it would seem Viagogo had sold these tickets TWICE, and whoever got there first was allowed in!
The treatment we received at your office ( when we finally got seen) was nothing short of downright rudeness and again we were being treated as the guilty party, when all I had done was spend a load of money and not got what I paid for.
We got there in good time so please do not use this as an excuse. Your company have behaved, in my opinion, in a fraudulent and at best dishonest manner and I want an outcome that at least reimburses my total outlay.
I purchased tickets and they were instantly delivered to my email, went to concert, got it, perfect.
Booked and paid for 2 vip tickets for elvis concert in leeds in July for concert in mid November. No contact until I rang prior to concert, hotel sorted and time off work. Told tickets not available and they would try to get some prior to event. Got two cheapest seats sent by royal mail standard post at 1pm on the concert date, charged for booking fee also to add insult to injury. Be very careful folks a very doggy company that sells tickets, holds people's money well in advance when they don't have tickets in their possession. Still waiting for refund of difference from vip tickets to cheapest provided. Advice don't go through what we have had too. Thanks
Bought 2 tickets for Dan TDM. Price per ticket was ridiculous, but event was sold out so bit the bullet. Admin costs charged by Viagogo, on top of ridiculous ticket price, was insane - £150 became £225 (the site doesn't inform you of hidden costs until the end of your purchase). Tickets were originally £21 each. Contacting them is likened to contacting Elvis - ain't gonna happen! Unless you're happy to waste your well earned bucks... AVOID AVOID AVOID :(
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
