The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

I purchased tickets for Don Henlley a day on the green at Mt. Duneed estate. The cost was 147.99 per ticket. I purchashed 8 tickets. When my credit card details where entered there was an extra $ 334.21 and 4.95 added. This cannot be legal. As the tickets i recieved have 111.99 printed on cost we have been scammed. L
I needed to re sell 2 tickets for Bob Dylan in Cardiff. 2 tickets cost under £360 but rocketed to £430 when 'costs' added. When I re sold them I was quoted under £300. I won't get this until mid May. How the government lets these people operate is beyond me. Also, no phone or email address to contact them. Should be 0 stars
No reply to request for help to locate email with link to download tickets for Adele's Adelaide concert.
Went to book 2 Ed Sheeran tickets for my daughter extortionate price and tickets in the rafters I thought I would bite the bullet for £400 for the pair. But when I went through to purchase, it had Jumped to £555 with numerous add on's. Needless to say I did not go through with purchase. Viagogo and the people who sell tickets at such an inflated price are parasites and hope government legislation comes in to stop sites like this from taking advantage from genuine fans
My first and last attempt to purchase on this site.
Fell for their advertising best price. In excitement to get tickets missed exorbitant booking fee of 33% lost £70 when I could have booked direct with venue for free.
Supposed to get tickets in A reserve and $750 finally got the tickets which are $309 with $592 admin fee and all up total cost from viagogo $2958
HOW CAN THEY DO THIS
Sent email after email and was told they accept no responsibility
Ripped off to the max
I bought tickets to see Russell Howard show for my daughter's b-day, she loves comedian so much. I wanted good seats so I picked stalls row 2. The price for 1 ticket was £60.99 double the original price, but that was not enough for viagogo, when I click to pay the total price end up being £170.44! No forewarn and no go back! Receipt came like this:
Number of Tickets: 2, Price per Ticket: £60.99, Total Ticket Cost: £121.98, Booking Fee: £35.43, Delivery Fee: £5.95, VAT £7.08, Total Charge: £170.44
I was charged over £35 for booking fee! And delivery fee for ticket sent to my email!
When we got there to see the show, our seats where sold to other people, only 1 seat was available!
It was my stupidity not checking the company before I purchased the tickets. I am gobsmacked how they are still functioning and keep ripping people off and getting away with it?!? AVOID!
Overcharged and cannot contact a single person... can't even comment on their Facebook page. How are they still allowed by law to operate?!? Complete scammers.
I bought Justin Beiber tickets for 10 March at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne. Paid twice the marked price for two tickets... over $700.
My tickets were refused at the door and i was informed that the tickets were refunded
So my romantic night ended up being stuck in the M1 carpark, paying for overpriced Citylink, parking in a dodgy and expensive carpark and now i probably wont even get lucky.
We are absolutely disgusted by this company. We bought tickets for allegedly premium seats for Adele concert in Sydney and paid more than 4 times the face value of the actual ticket. Of course you don't know this until you have paid and then when you receive the tickets discover you have paid for pretty average seats - nothing premium about them. They also advertise in Australian dollars and then charge in British pounds - very dodgy. Be warned about their dodgy practices before purchasing.
I bought 2 tickets for a football game in Buenos Aires for when I am visiting the country as a tourist. The total cost was nearly 3 times the face value of the tickets, but then 10 days before the game I got an email to tell me the game had been rescheduled to a different day when I won't be in Buenos Aires. I can't go to the game, and I can't get a refund on the money taken from my credit card. Viagogo are a disgrace and no better than professional thieves. I will never use this company again and feel stupid for being conned by them. Their website has no facility for customers to complain to a real person or to work out how to make a legal claim against them. They should be outlawed and the directors put in prison for fraud.
I bought tix to a show in Brisbane Australia- they were to be $61 each - I was charged $354 AUS! Yep! They converted my AUS into UK currency and has the hide to tell me that 'it states before purchasing them you know how much'... RUBBISH! It showed me the AUS amount - they are disgraceful. Use the above email address!
Never purchase anything from this site, I purchased tickets that were over priced and they were tickets that didn't work once we were at our concert. I have had major issues trying to contact the company. Never Never use this company
SCAM! Avoid them, customer service and everything about this company sucks! They didn't want to give me my money back even though Ticketmaster agreed to it! Worst experience ever
This COMPANY IS A MASSIVE SCAM! GET YOUR BANK TO DO A CHARGE BACK!
The price your credit card gets billed is VERY different from the price you are LEAD TO BELIEVE you are paying!
You have no idea they have charged your credit-card for almost TWICE the amount they say you are going to be charged and you don't know until the purchase is finalized and the transaction has been completed.
Under the Australian Consumer Law, businesses must not engage in unconscionable conduct, when dealing with other businesses or their customers.
THIS COMPANY HAS DONE JUST THAT!
As a result EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU THAT HAS BEEN OVER-CHARGED, Contact your bank and dispute the amount and they will do a charge back for the difference.
Be sure to have the transaction to prove the amount you thought you where paying.
Hope this helps everyone thats been scammed by these parasites.
ALSO TICKET TECH AND TICKET MASTER SHOULD NOTE: YOU BOTH ARE JUST AS LIABLE FOR ALLOWING THIS PARASITE THIRD PARTY VIAGOGO TICKETING BUSINESS to act on your behalf to sell tickets at twice the price.
ITS CALLED SCALPING!
We purchased 2 tickets to a concert in New Zealand the website said $164 NZ dollars so we proceeded. Got a confirmation email with the inflated price of $416 NZ dollars in a weird Currancy, I have tried mamy time to email them without any reply. We contacted ticketek in NZ as this was where the tickets were issued from. The ticket has some random name so hopefully we will get into the concert. The face value on the ticket is $81 so totally ripped off.
What a digusting company they should be taken down.
This site is very very dodgy and I will never use it again and dont recommend anyone use it. While we got into the venue we know of 5 people that night who were refused entry because the tickets had already been scanned. Pre-warned we turned up before the gates opened to be sure of getting in but even then we were anxious the whole time. Tbe booking fee was outrageous too. I reported them to the ACC who responded that they are already under investigation. Avoid!
Panicked when I didn't get tickets via main ticket outlet and ended up buying tickets from Viagogo. Paid twice the price of the tickets and then nearly the same again in "fees". Now prices on their site for same tickets are reduced significantly. Really hoping that they are valid tickets after some of the other comments I have read. Never again!
How do you sleep at night you scoundrals. You put your heads down on your comfy pillows and drift off while leaving people sucked dry of their hard earned cash, or do you sleep... I hope you are proud of emptying my daughters uni fund from her account. She worked hard for that but what do you care solong as you can fill your fat arse back pocket with everyone hard earned cash. Why dont you lot try working an honest days work, oh thats right its way easier this way. Well you know we are coming to terms with the loss and recognize it is no where near as big a loss as for some. Well i hope you enjoy your comfy pillows because it wont be long before you are caught up with. We will quiety celebrate that day.
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
