After agreeing to purchase Ed Sheeran Dubai show tickets at a sizable markup, the final step shows the ticket processing fee which was equivalent to 110% the actual tickets, and chargeable per ticket. So in order to complete my transaction, I'm paying quadruple the ticket value + more which is effectively five times the standing room price. And in the end, it's a legal ticket issued by PDF. I believe that the con is between the promoter and viagogo, who have a massive stock of unsold tickets reserved for auction and to generate profit.

ViaGoGo looks like an official ticket seller, they say for themselves they are a markeplace offering infrastructure to individual sellers.
The truth is they sell you a ticket for one price, when you pay they add to the offered price (which is higher than by official vendor) + VAT + some irational costs and they go to official vendor and buy a ticket for you under a different name.
So actually they are a blackmarket ticket resseller who is hidding behind imaginary sellers.
MY STRONG ADVISE IS TO AVOID THEM!

The site does not make it clear that the face value price is also shown - I was charged 450 pounds more than the tickets are actually worth - with a limited time period to actually buy the tickets you are under pressure and feel obliged to buy the tickets before they run out. My response was that on a Mobile device it is not as clear that there is a blue button for more information which states that the face value is a lot cheaper. When re-enlisting they take most of the money themselves as a sellers fee so youre in a lose lose situation. You also need to have proof of purchase but can only do this on a non-mobile device, which I do not have! When asked if there was anything I could do as I purchased from their website and they had my details of purchase they said no sorry this isnt what you want to hear! I am no longer going to the event and have wasted 600 pounds

I was fortunate enough to be checking 2 sites at the same time to realise this was quite simply a scam. What you initially see is something looking close to the right price, until you start clicking through and the fees get piled on top.
ViaGoGo tickets were 60% more than I paid for tickets from the official vendor including all fees. Furthermore, I got the last 2 tickets from the official vendor for the tier I was looking for, and there was no premium as tickets became more scarce.

We ordered tickets in November 2016 and paid in full for Little mix. The event was on Friday 20th October 2017. Viagogo customer service told me up until the Friday morning of the event that my tickets would arrive before the show by eticket. When I said that I could not wait any longer, they said that tickets were not available and had sold out. They could only provide a refund. As you can imagine, I was very unhappy as I wanted the tickets not a refund. I have received my refund, but will never deal with this company again. It seems to me that they are more like a bank earning lots of money in interest on people's money. I did not realise they are only a third party ticket seller and could not guarantee tickets would arrive.

What an awful awful company!

Not only do they allow tickets to be sold at an unreasonably high price, they also charge almost 60 euros more, just for their own profit! I've also read some horror stories where they have unreasonably charged people even 1000 euros just before they got their tickets!

Other than the RIDICULOUSLY high charges, they, as a company are very unhelpful and downright rude! Trying to get ahold of customer service is a never-ending nightmare!

Their "how to contact us" page only leads the costumes to a vicious cycle of the same pages! It's such a joke! No online customer service chat to be found (as literally, every other site has!) and not an email in sight! Supposedly, you can find your question in their FAQ, and if you answer "no, contact us." when the "was this helpful?" message pops up, you will be immediately connected to a person who can help you. What a load of crap! The "no, contact us" option is NOT available, and the worst of all? If you also select the "this was not helpful" option during this part, you will be taken to ANOTHER pointless page, where you can select the reason behind your answer. One of the options is: (get this) I can log in, but there is no "No, contact us" option available. And when you click on it... it takes you to a page... that says... THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT! They don't even offer you online service after you've told them TWICE you cant find it! What a joke! Even though I couldn't find their e-mail address, I figured it would be of no use, as another customer suggested they sent TEN emails, none of which were answered! Their Facebook page is also a joke, it's been inactive since actual 2014.

All in all, this site is charging too much money and has terrible, and I mean absolutely HORRIBLE customer service! Would NOT recommend under ANY circumstances!

I tell you how it goes:

1) You start checking the tickets - the site is urging you by showing how many other customers are searching for the same tickets. The same "urge"-factor is on all the time

2) They show the ticket prices (which are higher than elsewhere) BUT NOT what are their charges

3) Once you have made the payment they show the actual sum they are charging which includes A LOT of their "charges"

4) They inform you that you can resell your tickets w/o charges. I tried that but they informed that they will charge 40 euros so out of my 410 asking price they would have returned me 370 or so.

5) I received an email stating that your tickets will be delivered a minimum of 3 days prior the concert

6) I emailed them - of course it was bloody difficult to find the email address - and complained them and their only comment was that the 40 resell charge is because they are advertising to 15 million users...

7) Roughly 5 minutes after my complain email I RECEIVED the tickets which means that they wanted to close the deal as they have delivered what was promised

8) Unfortunately my bank couldn't cancel the payment

DEFINITELY STAY AWAY FROM VIAGOGO. IF NOT CRIMINAL BUT BLOODY CLOSE TO IT!

I purchased 2 tickets for the Weekend concert in Miami Florida.the tickets I purchased from their web page was floor row 3 seats 9 to 10. When I received my tickets today it said floor row 7. The tickets I purchased cost 900. The tickets I got only cost 400. I called them up and they said that they r a resale site. I said I understand that however you cannot send me something I did not purchase. This is false advertising and illegal. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEB SITE ITS A FAKE AND A BIG SCAM!

Get your Bank to dispute the transaction, they then have to prove to the bank that the tickets you purchased are legit etc, and hopefully explain all the extra $$$$ they take from u.
Be AWARE VIAGOGO, is a scam. Look them up in consumer protection!
I have never purchased tickets via internet, typed in ticketek / pink tickets and it comes up, as I have never done on line purhcase I got caught, hook line and sinker, I will never do this again and all persons should be ware! I hope they get shut down
Bank has things in place to protect the comsumers, so if you have been scammed ring your BAnk. DISPUTE IT, either way ** u get legit tickets, or your money back
I found it funny that PINK sold out within minutes and I got 5 tickets? In a section that was sold out? Yes I feel stupid and Perth Arena has said that this company Viagogo is not affiliated with them at all.
