Sellers beware I purchased ticket from viagogo for $600 couldn't attended so put them up for resell sold them supposedly but in the end they charged my account an addition $500 I'm out $1100 at this point,

Purchased tickets ( or thought I did) for the Premiership Rugby Final a week before the event. Two emails received, one 22 hours before the event stating they couldn't provide the tickets. Blamed reduced capacity (there is none) and the worn out excuse of Covid as to possible reasons why. Useless company
Purchased tickets to the 2022 Kentucky Derby. Purchased on Feb 12,2022. The Derby was held on May 7,2022. Their initial response to my inquiry was that the tickets are often released shortly before the event. Made at least 30 phone calls to Viagogo and their response was that I would get the tickets in time for the event. Then I was notified that the issue was sent to relevant department to resolve. Then the issue was sent to their specialist customer support team. I'm guessing these teams were the round file because I received no response from anyone.
I live just outside of Portland, Oregon. It's not that I walked across the street to Churchill Downs. My airfare and hotel costs was $6200. 00. The whole time I was guaranteed by Viagogo that I would receive my tickets in time for the even.
We flew into Louisville and on the Thursday before the event we went to Churchill Downs and inquired about them releasing the tickets to the third party vendors. The assured us that the tickets had been released several weeks earlier. Another call and was again assured that I would receive the tickets.
On the day of the event i called and they said the tickets would be there. We went to the event and was told there was no tickets for us. $2200. 00 down the drain. We were able to purchase tickets directly from Churchill Downs.
They only refunded my money after I issued a dispute with my bank. They refunded the money on June 9,2022. Which means they held onto my money from Feb 12th til June 9th.
I was told today that I would not receive any further compensation for my costs.
I am a disabled Vet on a fixed income and this is how Viaggo treats people.
They will not deliver your tickets and will continuously give you the runaround. When you calll they promise to get back to you within 30 minutes and never call.

Do not use Viagogo. Tickets did not arrive when stated. Numerous calls to customer services. Changed tickets to e-tickets in the hope that they would be sent out immediately and reduce the risk of further delay. That didn't happen! After reading the reviews I was sceptical about whether I would receive the tickets at all and what should have been an enjoyable trip away created a lot of unnecessary stress. We received our tickets on the morning of the evening event. If I could have scored Viagogo no stars in this review I would have! In addition to this Viagogo charge considerably more than the face value of the tickets. Use another provider. I won't be using Viagogo ever again. Lesson learned!
Spent $933 on morgan wallen tickets to a sold out concert. When we went to the venue and went to scan the tickets they came up invalid! The tickets sent to us were fakes. Talk about embarrassing! We had to scramble to find tickets from another platform. After 2 weeks of arguing over a refund, they claimed they would "escalate" the issue. After another week they claimed they would sent a full refund as long as I had proof from the venue they were denied. Thankfully I had been smart enough to take a picture of the denied screen. I did FINALLY get my refund but it took a long time. The customer service seems kind of shady and I am not sure I would ever trust to buy tickets again from them. I will be avoiding and using Vivid Seats which I know is reliable.

Paid $400 for tickets in Seattle Washington, live in Portland Oregon. Paid for the tickets in April 2022 and drove all the way to Seattle. Day of the concert and it's 3 hrs till the concert starts and they're just giving us the run around for us not having our tickets. We have been calling 5 or more times a day for an entire week prior to the event. Spent hours on the phone and they just give you a scripted excuse and saying they're contacting the seller. Absolutely no help what so ever. They can't give you an answer, can't give you a refund, they can't do anything at all to help. Please please PLEASE do not buy ANYTHING through them. They do nothing but steal your time and money. I can not stress it enough. Top grade robery.

My daughter bought 4 tickets to a concert 6 months ago. We were supposed to receive them the day before the event, but never got them transferred to ticketmaster. I've spoken to them half-a-dozen times, and all they say is they'll call the seller and they've been transferred, but there is clearly no tickets transferred into her account. 1) no manager is available. 2) no manager ever calls back. 3) they won't give me the sellers information.
The "service" is useless and it's a complete scam. Now I'm waiting for the fight for the money to be refunded.
After fighting with them for two and half years to get refund of £176 and being ignored we are now bluntly told we can't get money back even though the show was cancelled. Every other review says the same thing. Someone is a millionaire by stealing money from so many people.
I spent 420 euro on tickets for Andre Rieu. On the day itself of the concert, my mother and aunt went to Dublin, spending money on accom and transport etc, and the tickets were not available. Viagogo said they were corrupted so in essence they sold me tickets they never had. Throughout the day they had refused to respond to me and strung me along before going silent from 1 hour to go to the concert onwards. 2 weeks later I have still not recieved a refund for the tickets, let along full compensation for all the costs incurred.
It seems that they sell tickets they do not have. Basically a ticket tout on a website. Avoid like the plague.

I'll never be using these again. I uploaded tickets to sell, they gave me 24 hours to confirm the sale but I didn't check my emails in time.
The sale was put through as completed on the website with the payment due. It wasn't until I called them to ask them how to upload the gig tickets, that they told me the sale was cancelled. They told me that the sale was cancelled two weeks ago and they did not re-list the tickets! So now I'm stuck with two tickets that I cannot sell this close to the gig.
They deserve zero stars, but unfortunately not an option here. This company lies. I, like many others writing reviews, paid for overpriced tickets in their website and never received the actual tickets. They send you a lot of emails promising the tickets will be delivered by they DICE app/platform, meanwhile they never actually seem to send the tickets. And when you try to actually confront them about the issue the people in costumer service just read off something they have in front of them and are incapable of having a conversation and help you in any way. I will be reporting them to econsumer.gov and any other appropriate authorities to be investigated, and should everyone who has ever had to deal with them. They should not be allowed to exist as a company, as they are bonafide scammers.
Don't ever do any business with Viagogo! I paid $328 for two two-day tickets to the Kentucky Derby and Oaks and only got tickets to the Oaks. I called four times to tell them I didn't get the tickets to the Derby. Finally gave up and bought tickets from Churchill Downs. The email I got from VIagogo said if the tickets didn't come I would get a refund. That is a JOKE. They kept saying I got my tickets.
Bought overpriced tickets from them only for the event to be postponed then cancelled. I provided evidence of the cancellation from the venue but still, 6 weeks later, they're denying that it's been cancelled, instead just sending me standard useless emails, despite 4 phone calls with their customer 'disservice' dept. I've place an order for F1 Miami Grand Prix, have said many times the story of the viagogo guaranteed, that they will either replace tickets on time or do the refund. I'm 6 hours away from the event. NO tickets still, and no refund. It's impossible to talk to someone capable of taking a decision and a solution. This is only a call center, they get messages and "escalade" them. Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO

Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
