Bought shoes, received a quality message letting me know items were missing and I could cancel my order, which I did. The seller and I wrote to each other and she knew I was going to cancel the order and was ok with that. There was a glitch in the system because right after canceling my order I received a confirmation message. I immediately contacted customer service (literally 5 mins) and after many back and forths they end up writing to me that they couldn't do anything other then relist the shoes at the same price under my account and keep the shoes in the meantime. I asked if the duties and taxes I paid would be refunded, they listed the shoes and never answered me. I had to write back and was told no that it was not refundable- absurd! I didn't even receive the shoes so why am I expected to pay 300$ worth of duties and taxes plus I need to pay the commission for resale! Obviously I asked for the shoes to be shipped to me because I was loosing so much money. I still haven't received the shoes, they are still for sale on my account and it's been one week since I last spoke with customer service. Awful experience! Will delete app as soon as I receive the shoes.

It really helps put any of my concerns at ease being able to see the whole process and status of my sale in great detail. Also the payment process is the quickest I've seen anywhere and the seller fees are lower, making it easier to price my item.
This has been an overall terrible shopping experience. I placed an order for an item and was notified it was cancelled because the seller did not ship the item in time. Except the seller did ship the item within the window but Vestiaire Collective's system did not update until after the shipping window had closed. Because of this, I received a refund and then a subsequent shipping notification. I received the item but still had the refund. I was told there was no way to just recharge my credit card. So I have to make an international bank transfer since I would like to keep the item. However there is no way to do this transfer via PayPal or ApplePay/credit card which is how I originally paid. This is a big inconvenience and something I wish Vestiaire Collective would change. This entire process has been confusing and the agents in the chat feature were not helpful (one agent told me that I could do the transfer via PayPal when I actually cannot). After this experience, I will not be using Vestiaire Collective again because it is just too much trouble and too much burden on the customer to fix a problem that the company caused. I'm giving 2 stars because the seller was very nice and the item came in perfect condition. But Vestiaire Collective as a company deserves zero stars.

On April 25th I bought my birthday present, a YSL bag, supposedly unused (although it looks damaged in the photos), and with express shipping (48 hours from VCNY). It is May 6th and they haven't sent it, nor did they return my money, taxes and shipping cost. No one attends, no one answers and no one solves. A crap

I love this site and have found so many gems BUT the fees are out of control! Duties and taxes = about 30% of the price (on a second hand item!), which is in addition to the shipping and authentication fees... My items ship to Canada so perhaps it is not so bad for other countries but for me it takes a bit away from the experience. Always blows my mind and leaves me frustrated. I still keep shopping because I think this is an amazing and much needed concept. Please work on the fee structure!

While looking for authentic items and not wanting to pay the full retail price. I came up on this site thru Luxify. I like knowing that my product will go through authentication before it's shipped to me. Also if i don't receive in the allotted time frame i will receive a full refund. I want to believe we have honest sellers. Since i'm waiting on my item, i cannot review condition.
Always find new items here at fair prices with the option to make an offer, which is nice as well. The fact that they also confirm authenticity as well, is a huge bonus!
I like it, is pretty good, and easy and secure for both parts, to the buyers and sellers.
The only thing is this app don't have any phone number for whatever issues, and I have to wait for email response
I don't know why the app doesn't send me a notification when I have one sale or also a email, I has to open the app for see if someone buy and in my past sale; I saw it after 4 days.

Fast shipping will purchase again. The sellers are really nice
I sold my first item last week, but had to cancel it as the courier company (Couriers Please) had no record of me despite the fact I downloaded the mailing label. They were not told to come and pick up my item, and I was not told anything at all. I contacted them and they had not received any information before then. Once they realised, they were very apologetic but by then, it was too late and my sale was lost. I do not understand how this is supposed to work when the courier company does not realise they have an item to pick up. I also do not understand how I am supposed to know when the courier is scheduled to pick up the item if they don't tell me. How am I supposed to make sure I'm home so the item can be picked up!?
I don't really understand how this is supposed to work, though if it does work, it's good.

Buyers beware! Vestiaire declares customs incorrectly, resulting in DHL Singapore attempting to collect import duties from me, when Vestiaire has already charged me Singapore import duties in its invoice. It refused to clarify with DHL despite the latter's queries. Something is seriously wrong. It appears that Vestiaire has no intention to declare the tax to Singapore. I will have to escalate the matter to the tax authorities of SIngapore and France to see if Vestiaire is properly accounting for the duties to Singapore.
