I have not yet received my item, so this review is about the experience I had on the platform only. It was torture trying to complete chat, offers, and, finally, buying. The platform would not accept offers (i. E. kept freezing when I made an offer or counter offer), and when I tried to communicate with the seller (as is usual on all other platforms (TheRealReal, Poshmark, Tradesy, Etsy, Ebay, etc), I was banned from the chat, for reasons that are completely opaque to me. There is a terms and conditions link, but Vestaire should really be made aware that its community is comprised of busy people who don't have time to read a fine-print, multi-screen, jargon rich document concerning what should be a simple market transaction.
I had multiple issues with this aompany and still not Solved. Vestiaire could always surprise you of how ridiculous their business is. Don't sell with them if you don't wanna lose money or you simply expect a good day.

1. My sold Christian Dior pin (which was in perfect condition) was reported an issue by the buyer, Vestiaire agreed the buyer's return request WITHOUT any detail updates with me. After I receive the returned item, I found the buckle has BROKEN!
They blame the damage on me. When I try to argue for my right, they CLOSED the conversation and refuse to listen to me at all!
HOW RIDICULOUS!

2. My sold item was showing DELIVERED to Vestiaire hub both on Vestiaire app and the carrier website, and it has been under quality control for 2 weeks.
I contacted customer service then they told me their hub did NOT receive the item.
They request me to provide many information, including shipping receipt and my official ID, otherwise they could NOT start investigation. I don't have the receipt anymore because it has been too long ago, and thus they refused to solve my problem.
AND I feel SO UNCOMFORTABLE for them asking for my official ID.
What? The item has already shown DELIVERED isn't it? Why you still requesting such a lot info from me?

I have been using this company since 2015 and neve had an issue until I just purchased a LV palm springs pm backpack. I received the order and it had the most intense chemical smell. The exact smell of fake bags. A Louis Vuitton will never smell like chemicals. This bag was listed as new and never worn but smelled like it came right out of a factory. The interior is also off, it didn't have the canvas interior it should have nor is the serial number embossed in gold its embossed in black. I filed a complaint 1st week of June and it took a month of atrious customer service to send me a return label because they wanted to double check it. I send it back and they tell me they concluded the bag is real but the tag with the serial code doesn't match up to the real bag as far as coloring goes and the stench of the bag was the big issue. I'm thinking they are not really authenticating these bags and are letting replicas pass through and when people complain they resell the bag to make money off of it again. The customer service is God awful I've never seen anything like it. I will never ever use this company again. I've never had an issue until now so I'm not a huge complainer but this was bad! I will have them send me the bag and will have it taken to another authenticating service.

I never bought from Vestiaire before and was skeptical to get an expensive item. However, the whole experience was amazing! The item was delivered timely with the tracking information to follow, and the item was wonderful and great condition better then unexpected! I recommend this site now to all my friends and family!
Check the item very well before you buy it. Ask a lot of questions to the seller. Don't rely on the listing descriptions or on Vestiaire Collective feedback because they are inaccurate. I doubt the existence of a competent 'team of experts' that they keep referring to. Their refund policy works well if you are dissatisfied with the item and return it within 7 days past that period it becomes a total mess. It happened to me as I was on vacation and was only able to check the item after I returned from my holidays. The item which was listed as new had cracks which the seller fraudulently refused to acknowledge despite the photos I sent him. No actions were taken by Vestiaire Collective against the seller. On the contrary they advised me to resell the defected item on their site! I refused. It took them two weeks of back and forth emails until they agreed to refund on exceptional basis only because I am a good client and not because I am an ripped off client! By that time I was out of my country. They sent me the wrong waybill courrier label which was not accepted by the courrier and they insisted on having the item returned within 7 days. They finally asked me to pay for the return waybill since the courrier was not accepting the wrong one they sent me. I refused. Bottom line…don't expect a good customers protection policy. They don't care about their reputation or the reputation of their sellers and buyers, they just want to collect their fees.

Unfortunately, my purchase of the Burberry wallet wasn't completed because the Seller didn't send it to Vestaire Collective to verify the authenticity etc.
This is the first time in which my purchase wasn't Completed however I will say that Vestaire Collective kept me informed with Notifications of the process of my Order.

Different, nice, good price, if only de extras collected by the business not the seller, like more than 50 Euros each piece is too much, but other than that real good place to buy...
This is a thief company, I sold an item and their so call quality control couldn't verify the item, they requested more information i. E original invoice via email and it says if I don't have the invoice requested then the item will be send back to me free of charge. I responded on the same day saying I don't have the invoice. The next day sale was cancelled and my item was refused and asked me to paid $12 to have the item back to me. I emailed them asking that in the previous email it indicated item will be return back to me free of charge and an agent responded saying will investigate and come back to me within 3 days. No reply until I follow up again to have my item returned, however they refuse to provide a timeline. So they keeping my item for no reason and not returning my item. When it's new order they take less than one day to have the item sent out. But when it comes to return item that they have no legal right over, they just make excuse. This is thief! Don't sell via this company unless u want your item taken.
UPDATE: since I can't wait for their ridiculous investigation about the free return charge, I now paid the $12 to the their US bank account as they provided in the email. GUESS WHAT, they told me now the account is no longer active and I have to wait another 5-7 days for progress. How can this company operate by sending customer wrong bank details and refuse to take any responsibility for it. This is absolutely a nightmare. I will NOT use this company again.

I received an offer from a buyer, I accept it. Shipped the item out, then 10 days later I receive a email from Vestairie, informing me that the buyer reported a problem... I was then advised to hang tight, that they; Vestairie, will work it out with the buyer, and then provide me with an update in 5 to 7 days. We'll that was over a month ago, since then, my account have been closed, I have not received my Celine bag back, neither have I received my earning for the sell. This site is dishonest. Their model is greatly flawed., Unlike Poshmark, once a buyer sends a offer, they are automatically committed to buying. If the seller accepts. With Vestairie, after you accept the offer the buy has 24 hrs. To decide. Flawed. And a complete waste of time. I'm going to call them Monday, and see if they have resolved this matter with the buyer. We'll see, as they have not made any attempt to contact me..
