VC ARE SCAMMERS!
I purchased a pair of Balenciaga triple S sneakers and sent them for QC check to their hub. I am not sure if they really checked the shoes but they confirmed that it's compliant and they sent the sneakers to me. When I received the shoes they were unglued and with a hole above the sole. I reported it to VC and their costumer support told me that I need to send the shoes back to them for a second check and they will refund me. After I week they informed me that there is nothing wrong with the shoes and they are matching the description of the seller. I am sorry but holes were nowhere visible or mentioned in the description. Seriously doubt the authenticity as well. Of course they didn't refund me but relisted the shoes on my account but they didn't mention that there is a hole so I will have to scam the person who is going to buy it. I just told them to sell it by themselves and to take the money. I am not going to wear shoes with holes, nor I am going to scam people. Never again buying from there.

Customer service is appalling. App is horrible, difficult to navigate in it on iPad, Before I was able to speak with Vestiarie on phone, now it is rubbish chat.
I am not happy with their process but I can't challenge it.

It takes days to get anyone to respond -- there is no live chat or phone, which is inexcusable for an international company -- and then you have to explain the problem again and again and again to the next so-called agent. Frustrating as hell and very time-consuming. Meanwhile, this company is holding on to my money after the seller went awol and never shipped my item nor responded to a single message. Nearly two weeks later and still no resolution. Utterly unprofessional and shady. I will never shop here again after this.

I had an order of a Chanel bag that I reported not received because I didn't receive it. With the height of fedex workers doing outlandish things, I assume they marked it as delivered but just kept it or delivered to a different home. It has been over 2 weeks now. No resolution no nothing. The chat hasn't responded to me since Nov. 28th and they are just ignoring me. I have ordered from Vestiaire before but this time has made me never want to order again. I had to file a dispute with PayPal. They know this information and are just giving me the runaround. I should've read reviews before continuing to purchase from them.

VC doesn't pay for sold items
On 21st of November I sold D&G coat. First I receive the message that I will get the money on 29th of November. On 2nd of December I still didn't receive anything. I used chat on VC website to communicate. Luckily (because it's not possible now) I got quick replay that money was send to me on 27th of December and that I have to wait 5 working days. Today is 6 of December and I still didn't receive anything. I spoke with my bank and they don't have any transfers in waiting to my account. I would like to add that my bank details are correct because I sold an itom over a year ago and everything was fine. I tried to have a chat with VC but it's not possible to talk to real person. All the replays are done by a bot.
What a disappointed experience. This website it's not the same as in in the past.

In the past I would tell you I loved VC and to 100% use them. I have prob spent close to 3K on the site in the last few months. I recently
Bought a Canada goose there, and the lady emailed me a child's L instead of a woman's as stated multiplied times in the bio. After going through the horrible email process the coat was "deemed" to match the seller's description which is simply which is just impossible. This was truly a horrible experience and I will never use VC again as now I am out money and have a product I literally cannot do anything with.

Ordered a designer bag (to the tune of $4k) and it shipped to me from the UK on 11/16/22. It has been sitting in some FedEx customs purgatory in Indiana since 11/18. I have not been able to get FedEx to move on it, but it appears that the paperwork for the shipment was incomplete, which is why customs held up the package. I was charged shipping and all the required import/customs duties when I purchased the bag, so it shoudl have been easy enough for Vestiaire to fill out the paperwork correctly.
I have since called FedEx several times (daily, at least) to get my package released. Have written several emails to Vestiaire to no avail - each time they say they're working "with their experts" to provide "the best possible resolution" to my issue. There is no detail or anything about what they are actually doing, if anything.
At this point, I have no hope of receiving my bag, so I requested a chargeback investigation from my credit card. Do not order anything using this app/company - even if the products are legit, the company itself is trash.

I thought Tradesy was bad & hoped for a better selling experience when it was acquired by VC. So much bad I can not articulate it enough! For starters, their chat is 100% useless. Don't look on getting anything resolved there. Next, they reject legitimate listings for no good reason & are inconsistent. Some days they allow modeled photos, somedays they don't. Often they give you a canned response that is not applicable. And to make it worse, once rejected, you can't edit any listings! Not rejected or live listings! As a seller, I have little control over my photos & listings! It's insane! And they have this bs policy that a buyer can make an offer and not pay! I accepted offers only to be alerted that the buyer has 24 hours to pay, what? And guess what? None of them paid! No other marketplace does this! Offers should be binding! What a complete waste of my time.

I purchased an authentic Gucci bag which was in excellent condition when I received it, came with the original dust bag and box that were in great conditions. The only issue I had was the bag was much larger than I had anticipated, however I turned around and sold it to The Real Real and got all of my money back as the bag sold pretty quickly in their Los Angeles store.

The worst shopping/selling experience ever.
They sold me 2 fake pair of designer shoes noting that every time you buy you HAVE to pay 15eur authentication fees, and in the end you get fake items, so when i contacted them to inform them that the shoes i got (Valentino rockstud heels and D&G sneakers) didn't have any serial number and that they seem so fake, they assured to me that not all shoes should have a serial number to be authentic and that the shoes are authentic for sure, so i tried to sell the Valentino on their website and when it got sold and i shipped it to their warehouses, they refused it saying it's fake, and later on i sold an authentic Valentino which i bought myself from a Valentino store, they refused it saying it's fake, and every time i had to pay shipping fees, import fees back and forth so i lost an amount of around $1200 in the process.
Not to mention that they have the worst customer service ever with dumb automatic bot replies which are almost never related to your issue, plus they take forever to reply.
I've been using ebay and therealreal since years and they are excellent and very professional.
Vestiaire Collective is not recommended at all,
Unless you want to buy fake items and lose your money.
A total failure kind of business!

I had a $800 credit from Tradesy, which was transferred to Vestiaire Collective, since they bought out Tradesy. I found a LV bag and purchased it using my Tradesy credit plus additional $$$ needed and paid via Apple Pay. The next day I got a text telling me to pay for my VC item that I have a receipt and order number for the LV bag that I already paid for. I tried chat, email, phone. All to no avail. Still no word from VC. Now what to do? No phone number works for VC. No chat works. I was ripped off for $47 by Answer Expert trying to get a working phone number for VC. I'd never do this again with VC. Don't buy here!

I used to be a fan of Vestiaire but first their app is terrible, if you do saved searches, it doesn't really update on the searches you get notifications for right away by the time you go click items are gone. It's constantly spamming you. If you sell they are constantly bothering you to lower your prices, their commission fees are high, on top of that you can correct your listings and it doesn't let you add more photos like it kinda picks what it wants, which if you are trying to sell / buy an item is better to have as many photos of it as possible with the item worn! I had an issue recently with buying a pair of shoes that when I got them they were not the size marked in the shoe, I contacted costumer service, which is the worst, every time you get a response from a different person who seems to not have an idea of what you are contacting them about, their only job is basically to tell you "our experts have refused your claim and request for a return" only to then offer you "re-list your item for sale on your account with small amount of selling fee" not even for free, you pay for this quality control and they can't bother to check something very important that the size is correct, also I've gotten items that were listed in "very good condition" to get them as not, with flaws that their controls didn't bother to report.

I've been an avid seller for a year now and made another sale… only to find out that they have removed my country from the pre paid shipping list.
Without warning or notification.
I live in Dubai and we don't have a regular postal system here, so to use registered post myself it would cost at least $100 (as I'm not a business like Vestiaire).
Spoke to customer service and they gave no explanation just 'sorry we removed UAE and Turkey, now you have to pay it yourself'.
Honestly so devastated as someone who works in the fashion industry and valued a website like that for contributing to sustainability.
And to cancel UAE is crazy considering the luxury fashion resell business is at its highest.
I really hope they changed it back, because including all but two countries feels like discrimination.

Complete rip off. Bought a Fendi bag in "very good condition." NOT. The strap is disgusting, discolored, and splotchy rendering the bag useless! Seller won't do anything. I'm completely dissatisfied. Seller said I should have seen it in photos (can you?). I paid for authentication. I guess that doesn't have anything to do with quality.

I sold a gucci bag with them, everything was fine until it got to the point of getting paid. ITS BEEN a MONTH and still have not gotten paid. Sold on Nov 6 and still nothing. The scary part is, someone changed the bank info on my APP to receive payment...i repeat SOMEONE changed the bank info receiving the payment, never seen those bank numbers in my life (i changed the information back to mine yesterday) Not sure if they have hackers or what is going on with this app but it was so slick. It does not seem trustworthy at all. I really HOPE i get a response from them

Stay away from this website. They claim to have an authentication process, yet my 100% authentic Jimmy Choo boots were rejected. They came with receipt, tags serial numbers. And I have to pay for them to get shipped back to me. A total waste of time and money and if you Google them you will see hundreds of complaints from people who got scammed.
