They do not give clear instructions. The "easy" process is not that at all. 1. You need a printer available or you will pay to have label printed. 2. They list FedEx/UPS when it is actually USPS (US postal service) 3. No barcode is provided, so downloading will be required! 4. You can only drop off your item off to be shipped, once it has already been packaged or you also have to pay additional for this as well. They already take a hefty portion of what you sell your item for, so at the end of the day, the seller is investing money to sell & the buyer does not get as good as a deal on their purchase. Heads up!
This is clearly the worst customer Experience, please never buy nor sell from this website as it is a big SCAM! If a problem happens to the product that you bought or sold they will not take any responsibility in refunding you!

This place is not to be trusted. This is my first time trying to buy a second hand luxury item and it is horrendous. I ordered a mini lady Dior bag (the description said "mini) and it was listed for 3300$ and it had to be shipped from Uk to usa. I asked the seller a couple of times is it "mini" and she confirmed yes. I had to go through the hassle of customs and ended up print 4K overall because of "sales tax" by vestiaire collection and then I get the bag for 21 days and guess what it was a frikking "micro bag" like literally only my keys would fit. I messaged him the second I got the bag and the customer service said they'll review the bag and refund of the description doesn't match. The seller also listed wrong dimensions of the bag so I was frustrated but confident that once I ship the bag back to vestiaire they will refund the money back because the title was purposefully misleading and also the dimensions were off but guess what as soon as they received the item they said it matches whatever the seller listed and then relisted the same frikking bag under my account for 3300 and wow I lose 700 for nothing and I didn't even authorize them to re-list the bag and the customer service constantly kept saying the description matches despite me sending a screenshot of the dimensions vs the pictures of me measuring it. But nope. They didn't wanna do anything and didn't wanna give my money back. If you are looking for good second hand luxury bags, please please don't use this website. They don't have a means to cal them and the customer service is only available through chat which is frustrating and if anything goes wrong with your order they won't take any responsibility. I gave this site a shot because it was "woman owned" but god, this site is run my scammers. SO STAY AWAY!

I am suffering from Cancer and was feeling the cold very badly. I saw a Prada puffer jacket on the site and it was the same size (50) as another vintage Prada piece I had. It arrived and fitted like a child's coat. I asked to send it back for a refund but missed some kind of return window due to Chemo by one day. They said I had to sell my £500 which they put up of around £350. So I will get £224 for trying the coat on. I have been in touch with customer services and everyone I have spoken to is as cold as ice and they just won't budge, referring me to the T&C'cs. I have asked for it to be sent back, at a cost of £48. I will never deal with them again and strongly recommend that everyone avoid these heartless money grabbing horrors. They will take your money and offer you nothing. Hateful.

Several months ago I purchased an unused BV Intreciatto Shoulder Bag from Vestiare. I paid top dollar for one in unused condition. The following day I received an email saying this item was no longer in stock. I was very concerned because I had just paid $1850. I thought maybe I had been scammed. I immediately contacted them about this. NEVER has anyone from the company contacted me? I sent several more emails but no response. Thank god I'm happy with my purchase because I can see their Customer Service is very poor. I would never buy anything from them again.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have been trying to ask a couple of questions about a garment for about 10 days now. Customer service just keep sending me generic replies, they don't read the question or look back on previous chats to understand what the inquiry is about. I have tried to be patient however, I'm now done. I'm going elsewhere. The jacket I've been looking to buy isn't worth the stress of dealing with Vestiaire. I would hate to think what you would need to go through if you received a faulty or fake item. I doubt you would ever be able to have the problem rectified.

This is the worst website ever. Sent me a bag with wrong measurement and refuse to refund. I bought Balengcia hourglass small and they sent me mini. The price differece was huge and intiially they agreed to refund. But after I sent the bag back, they refused. Please do not buy from them, scammer.

A first time user, I purchased a Burberry Trench coat posted as 'very good condition" and applied my WELCOMEVC -$30 offer. Quality control found several stains on coat which was not disclosed, order was cancelled. While I got my money back, Vestiaire Collective won't credit me the $30 WELCOMEVC offer to apply to my first purchase which I receive. Seller falsely listed item which was not in 'very good condition'. Very disappointed how VC handled it. Unfair to buyer.

An Item I listed was sold, I sent it according to the instructions I got. The sale was canceled after I already sent the parcel, (for reasons of unprovided certification I was never asked to send). The parcel was sent back to me and marked "personal import" instead of a return so I was charged customs tax as if this was a purchase I made (luxury item so, the tax was not cheap!).
Concerned I would be charged customs tax on this parcel of items that was already mine, I had spoken with a phone representative who finally got back to me who assured me I would not have to pay the taxes. Later when I was sent a notice to pay taxes - I contacted customer service again in hopes to resolve this matter to no avail. No offer to fix the problem or refund the tax I have to pay due to a mistake they could have avoided.
DAYS LATER, they called twice, hung up then sent me an email claiming that they notified me "because as I confirmed early when the item will return to you, you will need to pay the taxes." - This is a lie, ofcourse. (see email in screenshots below)
I don't recommend listing anything on their website or working with them as if there is any problem, you are on your own, stay away!

- sale cancellation email - just to show there was no notifying of taxes I'd have to pay on return AND a suggestion I relist the item that I would not actually be able to sell again due to the same reason this sale fell through (due to a lack of certificait of origin, that they never even asked me to provide)

- chat screenshots - a reply I got only after 6 plus hours and very odd and unhelful reply, demonstrating a general unprofessional attititude ( with time stamps to show how long it took them to answer me.)

I was going to sell some of my items... I took the pics requested, with serial numbers, in some cases orginal packaging... They refused my listings. Tradsey was MUCH better. Just terrible. I predict they will go out of business. Their experts are sadly not experts.

I am currently selling a bag through Sotheby's (see link below). As I want to sell more bags and 12 rodeos which I bought from VC through Sotheby's, I delivered the rodeos to Sotheby's for inspection. Please see screenshots below for my purchase history of rodeos from VC.
On 27 September 2023 Sotheby's notified me that as some of the rodeos are fake, they are unable to accept additional items from me at this stage.
Customers have been complaining authenticity issues but VC dares to say it has a 99% accuracy rate and even offer authentication service. VC ignores customer complaints but you now have an eminent, if not the most eminent player in the industry who confirms the goods which you are selling on your site are fake. Please, what is your response?
VC is disgusting and shameless. We work hard to save money. I want my money back but VC does not allow for this, even though the product is faulty or a fake. Even eBay allows money back. I would have litigate but serving out of jurisdiction is difficult.
I suggest to all persons who purchased goods over EUR 1000 to get it authenticated. If it is a fake, litigate. We can establish a victims group and try a class action. It is not simply about the money, but the disappointment and heartbreak which is truly at stake here. Can you imagine a husband saved for 3 months to get his wife a nice handbag for her birthday, only to find out it is fake?
Also, please stay away from Chanel, LV, Celine, Hermes, Gucci. They are expensive items and it is simply not worth the risk. There are plenty reputable resellers.
After today incident I spoke to my Chanel SA. My Chanel SA bought a top from VC and through her experience with the fabrics, she immediately knew it was a fake. However, VC denied this and like me she is out of money.
My Chanel SA came to the conclusion that the so called authentication service which comes with a charge is really to check the condition of the product, but not its authenticity.

I purchased "Very good condition" coat but what I received was "Fair condition". Heavily used and it has multiple holes (not completely penetrated but the top port of fabric was lost. Please refer the picture). Of course, VC doesn't care about it. They reposted the item and now waiting for it to scam other people to pay me back. What type of business is it? They must go bankrupt. I DO NOT recommend this company! I was away when my package arrived and did not get to review my item until it was too late. The item was not in the conditions stated or like the pictures! Customer service did nothing to help with the issue. I tried relishing my item on their site but of course, you can never get your money back with ALL the charges and import fees added! Be careful.
