Definitely not recommend. Their authenticate process has problem, my bag was authenticated by The Real Real and ebay, but they said it's fake and asking me to pay 15 dollars and I have to even do that in bank transfer. I never heard of this type of payment, I feel this business is not legitimate in a lot of way. The Real Real and ebay is both public traded company, i believe their authenticate process to be reliable, but vestiaire collective says it's fake that means maybe other bags that are selling at their site it's fake but they will mark it as real. It's a very unreliable site not even with a phone number to discuss, only apps and emails. I don't recommend anyone using it as I questioning their ability to authenticate a product and their lack of communication portals. Please think twice before using it, since none of the luxury products are cheap.
I purchased a bag that i got authenticated for an extra. The bag arrived and presented damages that were not included into the description nor the pictures of the bag.
That was extremely disappointing.
I contacted costumer service - no numbers, no real people - only robots who keep repeating the same thing over and over again. That is extremely frustrating.
I paid extra for a services that was supposed to protect me- i did not get it - and now they won't even partially refund me.

Problematic from the beginning! I am pregnant and needing more space at home as my size and lifestyle changes,, hence I need to sell considerable amount of my closet. My go to is eBay but I am looking for another platform to expand and expedite sales. So I decided to try VC. I have purchased a Gucci bag through their AU platform, paid in AU dollars all throughout and was given a checkout order total of $$$$AUD "includes shipping and ALL fees" says on checkout. Next thing I know I am emailed a receipt from Paris with a different total amount in US dollars and VC overdrawn my bank by the hundreds! Spoken to multiple VC agents and we just run around in circles. Days now passed with no update. The item arrived via sendle today and the driver just left my parcel out the front exposed. I opened my delivery and found damages on the bag not disclosed on the ad and seller also kept the bag's receipt and all paperwork's ie care card, original tags etc. which were included on his photographs. Bag also has stains front/back on top of odour issues. When I contacted the owner about it, he was immensely defensive and rude. I raised the issue with VC so I can return the bag, but I won't hold my breath receiving a prompt response. I had it authenticated through my trusted lux authenticator — it will be very interesting to see if it's fake given the seller's desperation to pass it on. VC is just headache after headache and customer support pretty much is non existent — and they want me to entrust them with my prized possessions after this? NO WAY!

Although I am a big fan of high-end fashion, I try not to shop with Vestiaire because of the additional fees. The fees significantly increase the cost of an item that should already be authenticated. Isn't that the reason for shopping on this type of site? I have had great success on other sites so I rarely purchase anything on Vestiaire because I know I am going to have to pay so much more than what should be necessary if this is indeed a legitimate high-end designer distributer. If you must charge a fee, make the sellers pay not the buyers.

Costumer service from nightmare!
I am unable to print my postage out. Normally I always use the same address.This time shown something wrong with my address.Then i added the same address again. But it's still not working. I contact "Jaden T" from customer service.
Which left me feeling greater disappointed then the system's error. Jaden refused to help or call for fix the postage problem.Saying nothing he/she can do.And left the chat open and quiet. Even I have asked to close the chat. Then I can open the chat with others to ask for help.

I sold a pair of Gucci shoes (for which I have the receipt in my possession) and they were deemed fakes. To get the shoes back, I was asked to pay £15 to an account and send a screenshot with proof of payment, which I did. Vestiaire came back to me and said that my proof payment was not enough and I would need more detailed evidence which I could get from my bank. Santander said that this wasn't possible and that Vestiaire should be able to confirm my payment from their end. Vestiaire came back to me and said that were unable to do this. As it stands, they have my £250 shoes and have also an additional £15 payment for returns postage which I understand I cannot get back. Highly frustrating and ridiculous procedure. I wouldn't recommend selling expensive items at the risk of Vestiaire not authenticating them and holding on to them.

Placed an order and 2 minutes later realized it was the wrong address. I updated my address IMMEDIATELY and requested that they have the seller send to the updated address. Customer service told me there is nothing they can do. I then asked to cancel the order so I can reorder and they told me no. Poshmark allows for one address change to the seller per order. This is bad business. USE POSHMARK INSTEAD

They have charge me an import duty where there's none for items under $1000 brought into Australia. When I queried this, they told me they have no means of calculating it yet they charge it. It's a crime. When I asked for the head office details, they told me to personal question and haven't provided me those details. I will never shop there again.

I have been purchasing many items from this websites. One day i decided to clean up and renew my closet so i listed some items. One of them i bought directly at Louis Vuitton boutique, Lv onthego mm, i listed with all angles images, including the original receipt. In the description i CLEARLY indicated this bag is 2021 with microchip chip, NO code. It also shown in the original receipt, "their authenticity EXPERTS" still asked the photo with code and decided they wont allow me listing the LV on the go. Are they crazy? Im now doubting all the items i bought and paid for authenticity with this website,
I even submitted a ticket and asked them to get back to me what are the reasons that they cant list it. No response at all to this inquiry. Horrible, you went from ok to horrible place to buy and sell luxury.

Everytime I purchase an item from Vestiaire I quickly remember why it's terrible. First of all there is a 9 day waiting period and during that 9 days it's not clear if the item is even available. Why isn't there a 3 day period that the seller has to approve the order to the buyer so you're not wondering for 9 days if the purchase is even going to happen. It has an option to contact the seller and if they do not respond, one still has to wait until the 9 days is complete. I just purchased a bag for work that I desperately needed from Vestiaire and it is cancelled because it wasn't shipped within the 9 day period. Now I have to find another one. I do know that I will not engage in another 9 day waiting game. DO BETTER

I use several platforms to sell my women's clothing and accessories online. Since Tradesy changed to Vestiare the process is so demented it's not worth the time to list items. Very complex process with limited categories. Just when you think you've completed the listing it shows more items to complete but you're unable to determine what else is needed. I've deleted my account due to the dissatisfaction of this platform.

Hoje recebi a bolsa que comprei em segunda mão no Vestiaire Collective. A descrição da bolsa era "em muito bom estado, material de pele autêntica. Vi as fotos "esclareci" positivamente algumas questões com o vendedor e confiei na aplicação Vestiaire Collective, pois parece que quando coloca as fotos já faz uma primeira triagem, a ser confirmada cobrando obrigatoriamente 15€ para o efeito. O vendedor teve de enviar o artigo para o centro de Autenticação do Vestiaire Collective onde permaneceu uma semana, para garantir a sua autenticidade (paguei obrigatoriamente 15€). Essa "garantia" veio atestada com uma etiqueta apensa à bolsa e com o nome de "Pauline", a pessoa que se responsabilizou pessoalmente para garantir que a bolsa era totalmente autêntica e não uma contrafação ilegal.
Porém, depois de pesquisar e mostrar a bolsa a várias pessoas peritas no assunto, confirmou-se que a bolsa parece não existir, o material é tipo plástico duro, o cartão é facilmente reproduzido e não existe nenhuma bolsa com o interior em bege como esta.
Afinal que tipo de autenticidade o Vestiaire Collective confirma pessoalmente com os seus funcionários, cobrando para o efeito?!
Ninguém fala comigo no chat para esclarecer este assunto (fui bloqueada!), não existe um contacto legal ou e-mail com respostas assertivas, nem um número de telefone… nada, só fantasmas.
A quem me posso dirigir se comprei uma réplica? Já alguém passou por isto?! As pessoas têm de ser alertadas para questionarem Tudo e Todos antes de receberem o nosso dinheiro… Preciso que o Vestiaire Collective apresente provas de autenticidade pelas quais paguei. A quem posso recorrer?! Quero devolver a bolsa, como?
Infelizmente há até vídeos no YouTube que confirmam: Vestiaire Collective vende falsificações que eles confirmam como autênticas. Querem que eu devolva a dita contrafação que me venderam para eu colocar à venda na minha conta, e passar eu a ser coniventes com crimes e ilegalidades como ele?!

I have bought various items from VC in the past. I was satisfied because the sellers' items reflected the description of the item itself. But this week I purchased a pair of YSL glitter boots that were described as 'Very Good Condition' from a seller from Italy named Simone. The pictures were a tiny bit blury, but he took photos from many different angles and they looked great. They arrived promptly and looked perfect from 1 metre away, but upon inspection I found that the glitter and the velvet detail was peeling off in various places of both shoes! He had also neglected to remove his used dirty sock from the shoe, yuck! What a surprise. The seller Simone had documented none of these defects of peeling glitter in his pictures. He took the pictures from different angles but not capture ANY flaws. He did not even let me know about these defects when I messaged him to express my interest in buying them, inquiring about the size. When I messaged him explaining I was dissatisfied that the shoes had come with peeling in some places and complained that he shoed have warned the buyer about the defects, he denied this, saying the shoes were "in excellent condition" when he inspected them before sending them! Now, according to VC's terms of description, Excellent condition means they were never worn, so clearly this seller was lying through his teeth. Give me a break - he even left his girlfriend's sock in there! He must have eyes in the back of his head. All I asked him is that he inspect things carefully and list them accordingly. He kept arguing with me instead of offering me a refund :(. Sorry, but no Vestiaire! With no clear policy on how I can get my money back, I will not be choosing to do business with them again. :( These boots were not worth the money I spent on them and I deserve a partial refund.

Evri somehow lost my package and says "the parcel is damage beyond repair", but Vestiaire refused to refund my buyer and release my money as a seller.
They customer service is absolutely useless. Pretty terrible experience and will be cautious about selling on here - it really is a bit of a gamble as a seller.

There were hiccups on my 2nd sale on their platform but I forgave them. They actually got the listing currency mixed up but made amends for their mistake by giving me a €20 voucher valid for a year. They also made uploading and adding new pics easier by offering the option on the item's listing page itself as opposed to going thru customer service to ask for assistance as was before. Payment was fast and smooth. I see the amount reflected in my account less than a few days after posting my item out. My only complain is that I feel their customer service just needs to shorten the downtime for their replies but to be frank, they are quite helpful in all the times I've interacted with them. To sum it all up, I honestly believe VC is showing a lot of improvement over the past few months since I started selling on their platform. I wish them the very best and I hope to continue offloading my preloved goods to buyers across the world with no issues. Just remember to stick to the selling guidance and you're all set!

I purchased a pair of ToTem jeans described as never worn and no memtion about having a manufacturing defect. I immediately sent, within two hours of receiving the package, an information about the irregularities found: the cut of the left side is defective and these pants cannot be worn. After I sent the information, with eloquent photographs, the answer from Vestiaire was that the "team of experts" analyzed the photos and did not consider a thing the defect, anything being wrong and that they would relist my product for sale, free of charge, if I do this in 72h. Since it doesn't offer you any protection against fraud, it encourages you to lie in turn, hoping that you will find another person to deceive... I announced that I am willing to pay for sending the product to "the experta" on the spot, to see with their own expert eyes what I am talking about. This is the second time i am in this situatio, the first time I gave up because they have the worst customer service I have ever met. You barely get in contact with someone, people are poorly prepared and simply not trustworthy. Do not buy products through this platform, I will make a complaint to the consumer protection in France, they cannot simply steal from me! Please be very carefull about your money!

Ordered a suit that had holes and dirt, none of which was mentioned on the description, suit was supposed to be in "good condition".
I made a reclamation after 1 hour of receiving the item (I have screenshots of the reclamation and also a confirmation that it went through to Vestiaire with a request not to contact them again with the same matter)
I have screenshots of the reclamation and also the message going through to Vestiaire.
Now that 5 days has passed without any reply from VC, I contacted them and they refuse to make a return because according to them I never made a reclamation!
I have contacted the Consumer department and will get my money back for sure because it is a clear case I did just what they asked me to
But after spending thousands on this company, I find it appalling how they treat their customers.
Edit: Vestiaire contacted me that I may ship the suit back to them and get a full refund. What I was hoping all along.

I ordered two items from Vestiaire on August 25th. I was initially very impressed with them! The first item I ordered was sent to the authentication center, properly verified, and then sent on its way to me.
The seller of the second item never shipped my item. No problem, I think, this company specifically advertises that I'll receive a full refund in case my item isn't shipped. THAT IS A LIE.
They are refusing to refund me for shipping and customs fees attached to the item. They're making me pay these fees for an item that was never shipped and never went through customs.
Their customer care team takes ages to respond, is not attentive at all and doesn't even read my messages. All I get is "we are happy to inform you a full refund has been issued". Which is completely incorrect. The replies are in broken English and my issue is not being addressed at all.
I had to resort to filing a claim with paypal. Do NOT order from this greedy, money grubbing company. If your seller doesn't ship the item they'll just steal your money. There's a million better ways to purchase second hand items, this one is a massive ripoff and not worth the hassle whatsoever.
I'm deeply upset about the stress this has caused me. This seemed like an awesome company at first, so I was extremely caught off guard when they turned out to be a scam.
Stay away from this one at all costs.
