I purchased 3 bags. 1 is good. 1 is not same as listing and I got refund. 1 is not the same as listing but they don't agree with me. Can't believe that they keep my bag and don't ship back. Ratios 1 bag good/3 bags inspected are not good for me to keep doing business with them. Then, for the bag that they kept, it is stated as brand new never worn but couples threads coming out, so I sent back to them for checking again. An authentic bag should never have threads coming out. Even if they don't agree with me that the bag is not brand new nor authentic, they need to ship it back to me. I kept messaging for few days and no reply. Once they said that we need to find a solution. A solution for shipping my bag back to me? I was already upset that they think I should keep a ba like that, now I am even more upset when they don't return my bag.

I've bought several things with Vestiaire and for small things it was OK. But when I bought a shirt for 189- the problems appeared. First, it's never arrived to me, but marked as delivered in app. I contacted support team, but they didn't do anything. It's already been a month and support keep writing me standard email "we're working on your case ". They also don't want to return my money. So if you decide to buy something, be prepared that you just give money to Vestiaire.

I have sold four items worth of around USD800 - collected by the buyers - and i have not got paid. I have repeatedly complained on the chat and via email and no action taken. My bank confirmed payments were not received and despite that they are not taken any action. My bank asked for a code that all banks in the EU use as it was not indicated in the proof of payments that they sent me and they never did. The proof of payments were useless - no sender, no mention of my account, only one of the four amounts due indicated and uncomprehensible coding that my bank did not recognize. I will not sell any item again, loss of money and loss of time.

I just bought a bag from Vestiaire collective and it came not as described. I tried reaching out to customer service on their website 3 times and got no response, I also sent two emails and got no response. I am very disappointed and won't be buying from Vestiaire ever again!

Misleading customers

"I purchased a Burberry Coat with reference number ******* on November 29th. The picture of the item showed a beautiful clear blue color. However, when I received the item, it was nearly black and not the same as what was shown in the pictures. I returned the item because it did not match the description, but they refused the return. To my surprise, they have now put the ad up under my name with no option to change the price, using the same misleading photos. They did not seek my permission to do so, yet they are selling the item with a commission included. To make matters worse, they are now sending me emails suggesting that the item is too expensive and recommending that I drop the price by $100. This is a clear indication of their dishonesty. They misled me the first time by selling me an item that was too expensive and now they are trying to scam potential buyers. Beware of this site!"

Do not expect your item to arrive. I placed an order on Vestiaire Collective in early December for Christmas, but the seller shipped the item without providing the necessary code to open the designated locker. Despite the steep shipping fees of 10-15 euros for domestic shipments, the site failed to deliver a basic service. When I tried to address the issue with both the seller and Vestiaire, they played the blame game, leaving me stranded without the correct codes to contact the shipping company. Despite my efforts to reach customer service daily for a week, there was no resolution. The item was eventually returned to the seller due to the incompetence of Vestiaire, and there was no apology or plan of action to prevent such mishaps in the future. Their repeated response of waiting to hear from the shipping company was utterly inadequate. A week of no follow-up and an inability to provide pickup information make this a truly terrible experience.

Order # *******. I placed the order through the phone app and applied the WELCOMEVC code for a $30 discount. The order total is $201.35, but my credit card was charged $233.15. On the website, my order automatically removed the promo code that was clearly displayed when I made the purchase through the phone app. I contacted chat support but was unable to correct the billing error. The phone app is very glitchy, and the customer service is TERRIBLE! There was no way for the company or the chat support to rectify their own mistake. Thankfully, the seller canceled my order. I will never buy or sell on this website again. There is no technical integrity or reliable customer service. STAY AWAY!

Buyer Beware

I bought a dress almost two months ago. Dress never arrived. They said there was a quality issue. They are full of excuses. Two months and no refund. Please save your money! Don't get fooled like I did.

I would have liked to give no Star to this review, which unfortunately was not possible. I ordered 200€ sunglasses over the platform that arrived with a high delay because tracking numbers changed and the article was repacked and resent multiple times. When the article reached me (after already being in touch with the customer support) it was completely destroyed and I contacted the support with the multiple tracking numbers to get a refund. The glasses are scratched, completely out of shape and the Etui looks like a car drove over it. The article had clearly been repacked after being destroyed and sent to me, as also the multiple tracking numbers and the long delay show. Following the requiries of the damage report I handed in all the documents (including a handwritten declaration with dates and all tracking numbers) and multiple pictures proving how I received the article. The customer support was absolutely unfair trying to put the blame on the delivery service. In the end they accused me of not following their shipping policies for whatever reason even though I didn't sent or return an article... The case was handled by different support people creating confusion and feeling absolutely not understood or valued as a customer. They now leave me with broken sunglasses and a 200€ damage. The worst part of all is that the customer support sent me pictures how their employee wrapped my article and the pictures CLEARLY show that the article is completely damaged! Still they don't cover the damage sending me standardized emails which is beyond unprofessional and embarassing...

It is beautiful!

I ordered a Tiffany ring for my daughter for Christmas. Every part of the purchase went perfectly. I was notified of a hick up, the size was different than what was stated. I continued with the transaction. I received the ring earlier than expected. It is beautiful. All that needed done before I put it under the Christmas tree was to take it to Tiffany's to have it professionally polished, it was a sterling silver ring, I picked it up and it was perfection and Tiffany's does not charge for this service.
I will definitely shop on this app again.

BUYER BEWARE: Back in September, I ordered a brown crocodile St. Laurent handbag - shortly after I received an unopened, undamaged box from Fed ex. Inside the fed ex box, there was a St. Laurent box and dust bag BUT inside the dust bag was a black Love Moschino handbag. I immediately reached out to Vestiaire customer service and informed them I recovered the wrong merchandise and provided photos. I have been in contact with Vestiaire customer service ever since documenting everything along the way. Vestiaire has taken zero responsibility and has done absolutely nothing to remedy the situation, They have not allowed me to return the incorrect merchandise I have received. They have not given me a refund. They have not sent me the correct bag. Instead, they simply keep telling me to open another claim with fed ex as it MUST be fed ex's fault — 6 fed ex claims and months of dialogue with Vestiaire CS and NO one is doing a damn thing. Fed ex delivered the box as they received it and I received it in perfect form. There is no denying that. And yet, Vestiaire's answer is that someone at fed ex opened my box guessing it contained a handbag and happened to have a spare handbag on hand to replace it with. Yeah — that makes sense. Do NOT purchase from this site and if you do, pray you get the correct item because customer service is a joke!

Wrong item received - company failing to take any responsibility

I ordered a Brown crocodile Saint Laurent handbag and spent over $1300. I received an intact, unopened box from the shipper (fedex) but inside the box was the wrong item. I received a Saint Laurent box and dust bag BUT inside the dust bag was a crappy black Love Moschino bag. I immediately contacted the company. They took no responsibility. Blamed the shipper despite me saying this was NOT a shipping error. The contents were the error. Please note: I also paid Vestiaire an authentication fee — and yet STILL received the wrong item. I do not know if I have been deceived by the seller or the company. BUT I do know the company is taking no responsibility and failing to assist as all. DO NOT ORDER from them or be prepared to throw your money away.

The worst service possible! 20% of the price represents VC inspection fees to receive a handbag that doesn't match the photos and description in the listing (food stuck to the bottom, various stains and discoloration, broken leather attachments). Bag returned with photo evidence and a detailed list of all undisclosed defects. Return denied, and it's being resold on my account with fees! 20%? On what grounds? The fees of a quality intermediary not doing its job or trying to scam consumers? Awful! Stay away from this website

THEIR AUTHENTICATION PROCESS IS A FRAUD!
I paid £15 for authentication, and the bag I received doesn't match the picture. I've flagged that to vestiaire on 22 November and chased them countless times for a solution. Only now, 13 December they told me to send it back for a recheck.
I cannot do that, as I'm now going away for 2 months. I've asked for a refund of the £15 in authentication fee (bc clearly the authentication was a fraud). I was told there are no refunds (funnily enough, if the bag is found not to match, there will be refund), but not for a service that I paid for and wasn't provided with.
Long story short: if you spend a lot of money and receive a fake item, you're left at your own lucky. Don't think vestiaire will do anything to help you - THEY WON'T! Save your money and buy from somewhere else! They don't care at all, I've waited more than THREE WEEKS chasing and chasing. Luckily I didn't spend a lot of money on it but there are LOTS of fake bags out there and I can confirm their check is totally useless. They even recognised that the bag I received and the picture don't match. STAY AWAY. Don't trust them! Their processes are shady and their customers service is even worse!

Worst customer service ever

Do not use them! My last two orders were disasters. One was lost and the other shipped after a week, when I no longer needed the item. They refused to refund and cancel the order even though the website says that it is automatically done if a seller does not ship within a week. I had a series of useless emails and chats with no help and no refund, always a different person. I think they may use bots because the language is always the same and doesn't address the problem. Use Vinted! Vestiare is the worst!

I dont even know how to start this review.So I posted for sale a set of Alpina Swiss made Cufflinks for £60 then that is where this tale of horror, friendship, heartache and tragedy started. I received a message from Vestiaire Collective saying my item had been deleted and this was a item that could not be sold, As you can imagine I was rather perturbed by this statement, So as any hero of a spectacular tale would have done I contacted the live chat from the app, Now this is were the tale friendship happened...I was put into a chat with a fine gentleman called Harrison and may I say this soldier tried and tried but the powers above would not let him help. I was sent a very generic message saying they would not allow my treasurer on the app as it was classed as a lifestyle item with it been Cufflinks...well as you can imagine to my horror what do my eyes see upon this fine app? I'll tell you...I find Cufflinks from brands such as Paul Smith and so on, so I replied to my good friend Harrison...How can you allow these treasurer's but not mine? Then he responded without hesitation...We apologise but we do not accept Alpina as a brand anymore on our website...Well with this as you can imagine my heart fell I was destroyed I could not believe this to be true! But they are the rules so I admitted defeat with a heavy heart...But! As you reading this, just when I thought the journey was over and the story was finished...To my horror and In my wildest dreams could i not have imagine this...what do I spy with my little eye! Well my friend's ill tell, I see the exact same product I was selling been sold on the app for £234! Well as you can imagine I was shocked horrified so I take screen shots and pass these on to my fellow compadre Harrison of the house of Vestiaire! Well do hear more not but a wisper...I've been left for 2 hours in a chat by myself...no response no nothing, what a sad ending to such a journey. Thanks Charlie

It's fun to shop items from all around the world. But don't ever email support. I don't think anyone there understands English or wants to help. They sent absolutely nonsensical replies that don't answer your question. Then they ask you to supply "missing" info over and over again when their response didn't ask for any info to begin with. I de-listed my items because the support is so bad.

I made 6 purchases, and 4 was refunded without any reason. Than, I contact the company, and show them that when I try to buy the same itens again, a message keeps showing "there is a problem with your shopping card." I tried all the possible ways of paymente, and the error still appears.

It seems like the VC banned me.
With no reason

Its absurds

The attendant said that he would investigate why this is happening, and i never had any news

ITS ALL A SCAM. RUN

DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS SITE THAT YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO GAMBLE AWAY ENTIRELY, BECAUSE IF YOUR ORDER HAS ISSUES, THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU. The customer service is NON EXISTENT with this company. I ordered two items. One item was cancelled for no reason. The other showed up a month later. It was a pair of gloves. THEY SENT ONE GLOVE. When I contacted the company, they tried to place blame on the carrier and drew out the "investigation" process. The carrier did their job. The package showed up perfectly in tact. They refused my refund. I have multiple email threads showing how absurd their responses are. I started a chat thread on the website, and the associate told told me she was ending the chat and to "refer to the previous emails". I honestly have never been this turned off by a company in my entire life. If I could give one million 0 star reviews, I would. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY!
