As i write this i cannot even get into my selling items to pull them to close my account a the site as per usual in constant site error cycle.
The commissions are crazy crazy high, no contact with the end buyer, i hear they loose stuff in delivery.
Terrible payment terms, ONCE A MONTH PAYMENT PAYPAL, 3DAYS for bank transfer! IN THE MODER AGE thats BULL.
Bunch of total cowboys and crims, they wont last long, my bet is there money will run out soon so beware of them going bust, something does not smell right there for sure.

The mistake is on the company's side. I am a buyer. A seller shipped the item on time, the tracking number is available, however the company's not picking the item from the post office and stating that the they are still awaiting the receipt. I am frustrated because there is no way to contact an actual person and they are obviously don't check our emails or complaints. I am afraid that this is a fraud company.

This company is bad. I bought a very expensive bag in 'Very Good Condition' but when it arrived, it was clearly damaged and in a poor condition. I did get a refund in the end but they would not listen to complaints and the complaints procedure is awful. They refused to speak to me on the phone and didn't answer emails, I had to be very persistent.
Vestiaire Collective then re-listed the same bag for a higher price than I had originally paid. I tried to leave comments about this on the re-listed page but Vestiarie keeps deleting my posts. Don't trust them.
I purchased a bag from Vestiaire Collective at the end of December. Within 30seconds of looking at it when it arrived I could tell it was a fake. I have sent the item back (one week ago), have rung repeatedly and sent emails but all I have had from them is an email telling me it can take up to 2 weeks for quality control to reassess the item. Why does it take their so called authenticators up to 2 weeks to recheck an item that they passed in one day when it was sent to them from the original seller? I already own one of these bags in a different colour, purchased direct from Bottega Veneta in London so I sent comparison photographs and listed everything that is wrong with their fake bag so it should be pretty straightforward. I bought this item as a gift for my daughters 16th birthday and it has been such a disappointing experience which is still unresolved. I will update further when I hear from Vestiaire. If they send this bag back to me I will refuse to accept it and take further steps but Im hoping things will be resolved satisfactorily.

Recently purchased two LV items in "very good condition", even verified through comments with seller item was in perfect condition. Well it was a silk scarf and it was full of runs, snags, and lose threads. I would really put it under "very used" condition. But according to their website if it's purchased through private seller there's no recourse except to relist... What? I trusted them to do quality control and it was a lie. Never buy again. I emailed them over a week ago no response whatsoever.

ry careful with selling since Vestiaire doesn't pay you right after quality control and holds out payments for weeks. Now they keep my bags AND don't pay me which is under scrutiny by European Law. Unfortunately Vestiaire made the decision to cancel an authentic new gorgeous bag and hold it. It is an original one off, there are no different sizes and now the buyer misses an excellent bargain. I am completely done with the stupidity and meanness of the so called Authentication Team. I only offer authentic bags with the best quality and they place me in a bad light because of a measurement mix-up. From now on I only sell through other sites and I'll make sure this will be out there on social media.

I am based in Australia and recently bought an expensive vintage watch from a private seller in England through Vestiaire Collective. Having read many reviews, I was very apprehensive about the company but I am pleased to say I am impressed with how the transaction was handled. The seller was very helpful, keeping me updated throughout the process until the item left VC in France. I also made sure to keep in touch with VC that everything that the seller included in the original package was included as I had read about some bad experiences people had had previously with missing packaging, documents etc. Every time I got in touch with VC, I received a response to my question within 48 hours and a survey subsequently asking for feedback on their customer service; perhaps a sign they are reading some of the negative reviews on websites like this and trying to do better... It did take about 7 weeks from purchase to receipt of the item, however most of this was due to the logistics companies making errors. I was also concerned who would be responsible if the watch was lost during transit and found no answer on the site; upon asking VC however, I was told they have insurance policies in place to cover this, just in case anyone else was wondering! It may be that my queries were prioritised due to the high value of my purchase; however I found VC to have acted and communicated consistently throughout the somewhat long process and would buy through them again.

Don't buy through Vestiaire.com
At the end of march, I bought a Louis Vuitton bag through Vestiaire Collective. In the discription it said that the condition was as good as new (very good condition) and no user marks. When I received the bag, I was dissapointed about the colour so I used the resale option and sold the bag whitin 3 weeks. I didnot check the quality enough because there were some using marks. But in the resale, because it was a resale, without provision, I did not change the discription, condition, price etc. when I put it one the site for sale. I did not use it so why should I? After the sale, I send the bag to Vestiaire to send it to the buyer but then it went wrong. According to the quality check, the condition was not correct, it was good instead of very good. I found that very strange because I had bought it at their site and had not used it in those three weeks. I started asking through the contact form how this was possible and looking for an solution. The buyer did not want the bag anymore so the bag was send back. So I was back were I started but with a bag that I can not sell for the price I bought it for and no possibility to sell without the commission. After I think 15 mails my side and receiving an email back but never receiving an answer to my questions I litterly gave up. I have tried to call but after 10 minutes from Holland to France, a voice told me it was to busy and the connection was disconnected. I have never been traeted so badly and therefor I am very dissapointed. I tried everything to find a solution but every time I received an email back that was not an answer to my question but they wished me a nice day, hounestly an insult. I want to warn every body not to use the site because if something goes wrong, you have a problem!
Horrible service, I bought a dress which was marked "shipped tomorrow from Paris", so it was an urgent purchase for important but unexpected event. Purchase was made on Friday, on Monday evening late I checked order and it was still not sent to me! No mail, no warning, nothing.
They use this "Ready to ship from Paris" and "Shipped from Paris by tomorrow" indication just to make you take decision faster and you are not only get trucked, but also experience lots and lots of stress because of this disrespectful attitudes and low quality service! Please use other, more reliable and professional services.
I already made my new item very cheap to sell it at Vestiare, and then, as it got sold, they reviewed it and claimed it was not in a good enough state. Now I know you can have different opinions on that, but I truly send in an item which was in a new condition. They tried to make it even cheaper which I refused. Friends have told me similar stories. I ´ll never sell or buy there again.

Always LOVED Vestiaire Collective but now they are not paying me for my items sold. I currently have 6 items that were scheduled for a payment through paypal on the 1st of December and still I have not received the payment. I called customer service 3 times. The first time they up front lied to me and told me that payment had been made and probably there was an issue with MY account. Furthermore, I was told that my claim could not be sent to the accounts department before more time had passed. Like what? Payment was already 4 days late... today 7 days and still no transfer of funds.
I called Paypal and they said there was no problem with the account in question. I called customer service again. Spoke to the same person and this time I was told that payment had only been scheduled. This time around I am told my query will be directly sent to the relevant department. I call customer service again at the end of the day to ask if they have an update for me. This time around I have to explain all of it again as there apparently was no indication that anything had been sent on to the accounts department earlier in the day. Seriously? This should be really quite easy for you to find out and should be taken care of immediately. It has happened one time before but back then customer service were so friendly and payment was made immediately.
Day 5: Called customer service again today and still NO payment.
Day 6: No payment. And still no update. SO DISAPPOINTED!
Day 7: No payment and no update. I was promised they would get back to me within 48 hours but that passed already. What a disgrace...

VESTIAIRE should be ashamed of their customer service! Their representatives are not helpful at all and they have no power to resolve any issues. They have cost me money due to their mistake. They returned an item to me because the zipper was sticking (understandable), however, they placed the original value on the bag for customs, so I got charged to receive my own bag! They could not see the error that if the bag was not sellable at that price then that should not be the value put own the customs paperwork. I had to PAY TO get my own bag back... When I called them, they were not at all helpful... HORRIBLE SERVICE!

I have sold one Moncler jacket, and send it promptly to their office in Paris.
They have sent me an email stated that they paid me to my bank account but this money never reach it- I have contacted them several times, every time explaining again what happened - and they have promised to sent me the proof of payment. They failed to do that, and I either have my item nor my money. AVOID.

Ive used VIP London concierge service to sell my items.
This week Ive requested all my items to be returned back which is after three months.
Vestiaire Collective said I would have to pay 15 fee for recover costs + return shipping coat for the each item.
At the time I was offered VIP London concierge service to sell my items the return policy was free return after three months.
I have been ignored by Vestiaire Collective! My items are still not removed by Vestiaire Collective also my items are being sold without my consent.

If I could then I would give this 0 star for such ridiculous customer service and how they managed to lost 4 items that I sent for sale.
They lost my Gucci watch, damaged my Dior Bag and lost it when they return it to me, now i recently sold my Hermes wallet and Stella Mc cartney, they also lost them without any idea how to track or simply send me an email saying: we would cancel your sale item and keep your disposal in further investigation which you would never hear back from them because they simple leave it in a hole forever. I would take it further action to customer right in tribunal court if they dont get back to me. Horrible!

Appalling service
I have shopped on line for years and have never experienced such poor customer service, a total take it or leave it attitude. In answer to every question she replied I should have read the T&Cs more carefully.
I bought a pair of earrings which I believed were in France but turned out to be in the USA I now have a bill of £110 in import tax as I apparently neglected to tick a box which would have limited my liability to 15%
I cannot refuse to pay the tax as Vestaire will keep the payment and just resell them
I just wish I could leave minus stars

Do not buy on Vestiaire. This company doesnt care at all about the buyers and doesnt punish at all the irresponsible sellers. And if you leave a negative comment on a sellers profile, they delete it. So the potential buyers cannot know at all if a seller is a good one or a bad one because Vestiaire deletes all negative comments from unsatisfied buyers. The badge Trusted Profile worths nothing. I have bought a jacket from one Trusted Profile but the seller has not delivered the sold item and, furthermore she lied to me about the delivering the item. My negative comments on the sellers profile have been deleted.
I will never buy again on Vestiaire, there is a plenty of another excellent websites for pleasant shopping.

I WISH I HAD SEEN THIS SITE FIRST! I live in Sweden and the site is in France. That means we DO NOT pay import tax. At no point was I informed that my LV bag was coming from the US. Even so, it is VESTIAIRE COLLECTIVE that is the handler.
A day after I receive my bag, I receive a bill from DHL for IMPORT TAX of, 230/$250/£215! A NO POINT WAS I INFORMED OF THIS! I am trying to contact Vestiaire Collective but no one answers!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THERE SHOULD BE SOMEWAY TO STOP THEM FROM OPERATING! A HOAX SITE! A SCAM!
