The worst online experience ever! Bought a bag from them and after using an online authentication agency I found out this bag is a fake. Contacted them and they just insist their quality control expert said its authentic. The customer service is also very rude and replied my email with arrogant tones. Dont waste your money people! Their quality control department is nothing but a decoration for their shady company! You are not protected at all as a customer because all they say is how professional their experts are, which clearly nobody ever did the authenticate job. Id rather buy from EBay, at least you are protected as a customer.

Terrible terrible terrible! Stay away! I purchased a dior bag (with a seasonal discount code) in the trust that vestiaire has reasonable pricing for it as a second hand bag. Shockingly this is substantially more than a new one in shops which I came to know about a few days later. I was so upset I felt conned I rang vestajare and was told something will definitely be done as this is unfair. I then receive an email a few days later asking for pictures of the new products. I just recorded the exact pricing of brand new Dior bag which I was told at Dior selfridges. I won't be travelling into London sefirdges just to take pictures. It is equally as easy for vestiaire to call Dior and confirm the price if they have doubt. I then get a response from

Saying there's nothing they will do about it as I was given indication of size of bag upon purchase. Riduclous! They con people! I've been selling and buying regularly for pst2 years. Disgusting customer service making me send emails and calls and have nothing done about my issue!

I think the staff who work in the quality control section need to have their eye sight examined. Courreges bag ( very good condition) frayed inside. Tried to sell a Brioni silk scarf ( Gustaf Klimt geometric collection used twice) Refused as is 'doesn't fit into their requirements'; however, selling me a 'gray scarf' that is actually pale brown and smells was. Never again.

I didn't believe it when I saw the bad reviews, and thought my experience will be different. I've had two run in s with them. They sign you up automatically to a premium subscription and it was months and months of being auto billed before I realised that my attempt to cancel it right away had failed. Cost me 80 for nothing. Before that, I had to complain super hard to get my money back because they sold me a jacket that had sweat stains after they repeatedly refused. Waste of time. Rip off. AVOID.

Wish I could do 0 stars! I bought a pair of shoes which stated they are very condition. Once they arrived turned out they are completely ripped on one side making them unwearable. Basically they could be thrown out. Contacted Vestiaire about it since I don't understand how shoes that are unwearable destroyed have been check and named "very good condition" by their quality control team. Their answer was that they do not do refunds, the quality control terms are just a guideline and do not have to state damage (LOL) and that if I am unhappy I can relist them for sale... W T F
Well sorry I am not a liar like the people working in Vestiaire and I cannot see myself selling a faulty pair of shoes thats unwearable while claiming it's good condition and hiding the fault on the photos as well as NOT writing about this in the description.

The Hermes bag cost $14,900 + $1600 I received BAD condition, nothing like the seller pictures, I immediately canceled the Premium member but they still take money from my account over 2 years. Stay away from this website.

Fraudulent! Two nights ago I placed an order with them but it said the order didn't go through so I quickly checked my bank account and they blatantly have taken the money out so I screen shot it and sent them a email. Then they replied saying fraudulent activity has happened ok but your company has taken the money out how is this fraudulent? Then they asked what card u used and the 6th and last digit on the card I used. No reply after wards very worried spent a lot of money. Also called the um and french land lines goes straight to a robot and you cant leave a message. This site should be shut down. I'm lost and don't know what to do besides constantly sending them emails.

Actually, fraudulent isnt even the right word anymore. It looks more like extravagant inefficiency to me by now, but I wanted my headings to harmonize...

A day after complaining to VC, I received a message prompting me to rate the quality of their customer service. Since they had offered no service - the only response was an automated email that they would be in touch - I clearly could not offer them any praise, so I duly clicked bad and added a note about their complete failure to address the issue. If the competence & logic with which they have handled things so far is anything to go by, they will no doubt be delighted with my response and congratulate themselves on another job well done.

Today, my supposedly non compliant because badly scratched shades were returned to me with a tag from VC congratulating me on my purchase of an article in very good condition and which had passed their quality control. Perhaps they now expect me to pay the full price for them as well, in which case I should perhaps remind them that they themselves had urged the seller, me, to lower the price by 15 because of a mysterious blemish. I phoned customer services straight away but the lady on the phone didnt speak enough English to understand what was written on the tag. Very professional, I must say.

I thought Id give VC a try after being conned by a buyer on Depop. After one month, someone purchased my immaculate 600-euro D&G glasses At the original asking price of 150, which would earn me 100 net. Today, VC notified me that the glasses were scratched and that they had lowered the price by 15. The flaw in the attached photo was enormous, but it was certainly not there when I sent them the item in its original packaging. Now I have to pay for postage and packing for a damage that is not of my own inflicting, and neither, I dare say, of the postal services. Needless to say, Ive deleted my account and severed all ties with a company that is fraudulent at best.

I wish I can choose ZERO STAR as they Deserve ZERO. I bought few items as brand new and they arrive disgustingly used. I last time purchased a jacket and was sent a totally wrong jacket. Jacket stayed in customs and delivered late. I asked to return, they closed the case because it had past two weeks to return, when there were easter holidays. These crooks just want to sell the item and dont care what product you get. I will never buy form this bull crap website. NO returns allowed. I received a jacket that had pen long straight mark that cannot go and they described it as NEW.
I just want everyone to be careful from purchasing anything from them.
ASK 10 QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BUY ANYTHING.

I ordered a Birkin which cost me £******* ( approximately $*******; *******). Seller described the Birkin is brand new and never used. But! When I received it, I found there are scratches on the hardware and marks on the corner. Also, no protective films on some hardware! This is not what the sell said on VC! Seller said brand new, all films are on the hardware... Brand new birkin and Kelly always have protective films on the hardware! This seller is a cheater, she is very dishonest! The bag was apparently used by someone, either herself or someone else. But she sold the used bag for a brand news price! I reported to VC in the day I received it. However, no replies yet! Its been 5 working days! Of course, they dont want to miss the commission of this order, they can earn at least 25% of the order value. Customer service is useless and unconcerned! Worst online shopping experience ever! Will not buy Fromm VC again!

Lost my item

Sold my item on this site, after not being able to print shipping label i contacted them to see if i could send 2 items together to which they advised that was OK.

Sent items, confirmed delivered by DHL. Vestiaire now say they never received and refuse to reimburse me as they were sent together and thats not allowed... EVEN THOUGH I CONFIRMED WITH THEM PRIOR TO DOING SO!
NOW I AM OUT OF POCKET OVER £400.

Terrible service and horrible business to use.

He worst customer service from the US site, especially from a man named Richard. He was utterly rude and not at all helpful! I have completed the transaction and for some reason the system did not capture my purchase despite having paid through PayPal. The item is now still available for purchase and they are unable to reserve or hold the item nor cancel my transaction. They are telling me that it will take them 2 to 3 working days to solve this problem. Please do not ever deal with this company again.

Disgusting service

Disgusting. NEVER PURCHASE FROM THEM. No email address for international customers to enable resolution. Placed order and paid but only after advised dont send to PO BOX so now risk of parcel being stolen from apartment block. Ordered 3 items. One unauthentic so refunded but not the cost of delivery. One month later advised an item is no longer available. How can this be? Again refunded but not the delivery charge. I am now stuck with a small silk sleeveless shirt whereby I got screwed a AUD$70 delivery for their non conformance of two other items. No customer service. Cant cancel last item. Cheers guys hope your proud of your company... What a disappointment

Be Aware of Trickery

Be AWARE Vestiaire Collective does NOT Accept Returns and holds your MONEY HOSTAGE for 30 days even if seller is not sending the product as they say on the website in 10 days. Dont get FOOLED. Even if you want to cancel a order that is not being sent by seller they dont allow you!

I ordered earrings ref Hello, I bought earrings, ref *******, on March 22nd. Asked VC if they could contact the seller after more than 7 days, as adverted. They responded by an automated email. I then contacted seller myself as I could find his website. He confirmed the item had been shipped DHL the day of the payment and they had received it the next day. I wrote back to VC to tell them that the item had been sent. The replied the same day that indeed, suddenly, the item had been shipped and they would send me an email when they would receive it. I then sent the proof of receipt with signature the seller had sent me. So today, one day later, they suddenly have lost the item and it would take them 6 WORKING DAYS to search for it. So now, as I have been lied to twice and as I read all of the similar cases and start to get very worried as I also ordered three other items on the website, I have sent the emails exchanged to my lawyer just in case. So that is my experience for my first item bought through their website. The items should better be authentic too.

I wasted whole night time to get the expensive LV. After accepted my offer VC changed the price and sold to another buyer (by the way who was sitting 2 weeks and was not interesting to buy until read my messages). I know that the others can buy it now without offering, but ANY site not able to sell to another buyer, to change the price or something in listing since a seller accept offer from buyer!
And admin remove messages (they did not mean any violations!) just because these messages not comfortable for VC.
NEVER AGAIN!

Ordered a bag and was told Id save 15% pre-paying duties & taxes for $304. Sounded like a good deal so I did however then received an invoice from DHL saying I owed $135 to get my package because VC didnt fill out the paperwork properly and showed charges are to be paid by recipient. Two phone calls and all receipts and proof sent to email box and nothing. I was told it would be expedited but crickets.
VC, check your email and handle this properly. A $135 invoice has now cost me $440... you owe me my $304 back which I was scammed into paying in the first place!

Chanel Backpack Debaucle Mal a la tete.
Tried to buy a Chanel backpack but was told that a preferred customer had reserved it. After several weeks of checking back I was finally told that it was available for purchase. The seller agreed to the price I offered and Vestiaire told me I had to purchase it within a period of time. I tried to purchase it within that time and was told that the item was unavailable because a preferred customer wanted it. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told that none were available. When I asked for someone to call me back, I was told, "Our customers call us, we do not call them." WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I see why the ratings are so low. Sadly this company does not seem to care. It is like trying to have a meaningful conversation with Donald Trump.

Avoid this company unless you want to be made a complete fool of! I paid over £200 for 3 items, they arrived in an awful state and they refused any returns, offered me to only relist the cheapest item and they take half the takings! Rip off merchants!
