I ordered a bag that came with 2 straps and it arrived with only 1. The bag was listed as being in excellent condition and arrived looking like someone had taken a butter knife to the front of the bag. I ordered a bag in the medium size and when it arrived it was quite clearly the small size. They should really have easier access the customer service and make their website easier to navigate to help resources.
I used to buy from vestiare collective until I faced my first problem. I bought a bag but the delivery company could not give me the parcel as the address was incorrect because a missprint of Vestiaire Collective and they returned it to Vestiare Collective. After 3 months still fighting with them to get my money back, basically 600, quite a lot. Terrible Customer Service and no solution at this point. No bag and no money, I feel cheated. I wont recommend it to anyone. Save your money. Buy cheap, you pay dear
You're not able to cancel your orders and sellers never reply, I'll be just a whole month of loss of your money because they won't give it back to you and the service is simply pathetic and difficult to communicate to them at all. Tried twice and it was just the same, never shopping here again
Bought a pair of shoes that were advertised as 38.5EU and when they arrived they were 38EU (and 38.5 in the designer's own sizing). I complained because the size displayed didn't match the size of the product and they were obviously too small and the only response that I got was that they couldn't take it back.
I bought a speedy 35 which is rated "good condition" and it was okay. Then I bought a pochette accessoires nm without getting an external authenticator because I trusted them. The bag arrived and it looks sooo off with visible damage on the side hook, it was even rated "very good condition". I wonder if Vestiare collective's quality control even exist? Or they basically just didn't check properly and send the product. I wouldn't buy anything from them anymore!
I purchased an Hermes Plume for $4400 AUD. They guarantee 100% authentic. Bag arrived, checked thought it looked good. Never once thought that it may be fake because I trusted the website. Put it away in their dust bag. A few months later I opened up and gold hardwear had changed its colour. Took it to Hermes Storef or repair which I have done a few times with my existing bags only to be told that it is a fake bag. Could not contact them, all emails were bounce back. DO NOT BUY FROM VESTIAIRE COLLECTIVE not ALL are authentic!
Dodgy payments with an elite "higher department" that is inaccessible.
I am very disappointed with this company as the whole customer experience as a seller has been nothing but stressful and time-consuming. Chatting with the customer chat only yield the template answer "The problem has been escalated to a higher department and will take 3 days to get a response" And of course, the 3 days never eventuates. Some chat operators hang up on you before there is a resolution, some are polite but can't help other than hoping the chat wins the lottery and obtains an answer from the relevant department. I have sold 5 item and all 5 shipments had its woes. Shipping out of Austalia requires a sales invoice, Vestaire does not provide that with the shipping label, you have to get on to the chat, request form the operator and hope the support team gets back to you within the shipping window of 5 days that I can now quote, as verified by chat logs from Vestaire staff, that it doesn't exist hence ship whenever or however with no urgency... Poor buyer waiting endlessly.
After that inconvenience, there is the most important PAYMENT. I have not been paid for 1 of my shipments from 22/10/19 and its 2/11/19 today. Daily attempts to hop on the chat line yields no result other than the please wait 3 days for a reply. I was given information that is already displayed on the app such as "payment completed on 22/10" but the money never came through. Verification from my bank was given that there was no such transfer to me as well. I'm also still waiting for another payment from 8/10/19 that Vestaire said got bounced back as the address was insufficient. That being said, I updated all my details again and on 22/10, still, I did not get my money for separate transactions and only got template answers. My regret is I have now 2 items due for payment on 5/11/19,1 outstanding payment from 22/10/19 and I am beginning to lose hope that I will never get my money and sadly, my sold items are already sent out to the new owners.
So my advice is to look for another site to sell your goods. It too much of a hassle for non-professional sellers and way too time-consuming to deal with the horrendous "higher departments".
They sent me an item which was not the one described, and then after requesting devolution, they sent me it back.
If you buy here you have the risk to lose your money completely, so think twice before buy here.
I bought a L size and they sent me a XS.
You can see in the picture the item categorized as L, but they told me I should have seen the tshirt label because there was XS.

After first telling me that they accepted the return, and without alert me, they send it back to me, they made me pay, 17 to send them back for 2nd time the item, and this time they accepted the devolution, recognising the error from the quality check team, so it ended well, but the process was a pain in the $#*!
Items are not as described. Customer service is non existant. Takes almost five days to respond and they just argue with you and don't do anything to try an make corrections or transactions right. Would not recommend this resale as as there are many other with much better buyer and seller protection.
BUYERS BEWARE - what a horrible experience with this company. They have the worst customer service. I haven't experienced anything this bad from a company. They are quick to take your money for a purchase and for my particular item it was listed as 'EXPRESS' to be shipped within 2 business days. It has been 12 business days and not one reply to an email - their customer service consultants all say the same thing, "your matter has been escalated" and nothing happens. It is appalling. The first and last time I will ever buy from this website. I am still waiting on an answer as to where my item is!
The platform says that my parcel was delivered and it wan't. I didn't receive an email or a message on the mailbox. I asked it to be delivered to my office and none of my co-workers say it arrived.

Awful company I rate them zero. They exploit people. Somebody bought a designer skirt and ir received zero pounds for it after versatairre apparently took their cut. I class this as theft as if I'd have know they had reduced their proces and I would have got zero I would have given he skirt to charity. They took three weeks to get back to me. They ate a disgusting company and I will be exposing them through UK consumer law programmes so other people can be warned. Awful company
I ordered a pair of Chanel 6040 sunglasses. They were in great condition, not scratched and real pearls. Came with case and no dust cloth.
I had an issue with a parcel going to the wrong address - could have been sorted easily but customer service would not contact the delivery company on the very day the parcel was sent out - weeks later the item is now lost still they are asking me to contact the delivery company (who will only deal with them as the account is with them) Asked to speak to a supervisor -there doesn't appear to be one! I am incredibly disappointed in their customer service - lost all credibility for me
Where do I even start? I guess with the fact that I bought a pair of Jimmy Choo boots and then waited 6 weeks to get them. SIX. WEEKS. The boots FINALLY arrived. I put one of them on to try it and the boot got stuck on my foot because the zip was completely broken. With great difficulty (having to entirely unlace the boot then re-lace it) I got the boot off. Emailed Vestiaire to tell them. It took them SEVEN DAYS to get back to me. Every single email in fact took them at LEAST 5 days to answer. I finally put a negative post on their Facebook reviews and only then did I get a useful answer; or so I thought. They sent me a returns label. I put the returns label in the box and organised DHL. DHL came and said to me "there is other paperwork that you will need". What paperwork? No idea. Vestiaire hadn't told me. Emailed YET AGAIN. Waited another week for an answer. You know what the answer was "I don't know. I will have to ask my manager". I mean are these guys on drugs? It is not EIGHT WEEKS after I got these boots and STILL I am waiting to return them because of the unbelievable delays at the other end. Like I said: the single worst shopping experience of my life. If it hadn't happened to me I would not believe it possible.
I recently bought a watch from a seller though VC and even if it's not the first bad experience with them it's just keep on getting worse.
The last item proved to be a damaged and counterfeit item, which should have been noticed by their so called "experts" if they have taken a good look at it and just run a quick check ( for what they actually charge you). The only decent thing was that they accepted the item return which I instantly did. And since then no track of my money or of the item: the platform does not allow tracking the items that you returned ( even though i received a confirmation email that they have it - 1 month ago!). They so called experts claimed to be doing a second check of the item ( initially they said 10 days now it's almost a month), and only after that they will decide if they will return my money or not - even if their policy states different procedures and time frames. During this period I was send from customer support representative to another with no exact answer and no word about returning my money back!
Worse customer experience ever! The don't even respect their own regulation and apparently the customer does not value anything to them. I reported the case and let other people deal with it as it takes to much energy to learn a service provider how operations should run normally!
I saw a listing where the seller said the bag was in mint condition and only had one tiny scratch. The photos looked fine too so I bought it. When I received it I found numerous scratches on the bag which the photos did not show at all! I sent it back to VC to have a second check and they said the defects were actually identifiable in the seller's photos. Wow VC, just WOW. I would not have purchased the bag if the listing wasn't so misleading. And did you even read what the seller wrote on the listing? I think you just want to keep the money and refuse responsibility. Shame on you! I wish I had read the reviews here before naively trusting that you would do more for your customers and for your own reputation.
My first experience with Vestiaire was miserable. I recently purchased a handbag and my CC was charged immediately, but I did not receive the bag until 15 days later. After receiving it, the bag smelled of perfume and was in worse condition that the photos showed. The issues were structural loss, frayed stitches and big scratches. When I submitted my concerns and asked for a return, their response was "you bought it as an agreement between you and the seller; therefore Vestiaire is not responsible." If that's the case, why did I have to pay for Vestiaire's Quality process that took 4 days in the 15 day process? They only offered to pay for cleaning but I have to get a quote first for them to approve the expense first. And secondly, which this is the truly ironic part, they said the reason for them to refuse the return was because the bag was only listed as "GOOD". When does good mean bad?
