I bought a Louis Vuitton bag from them, I am now selling the same bag on theirs site, after sending it to them, they said they can not verify the authenticity of the bag. This is shocking! Even ask me to pay 12 euro to get the bag to be posted back to me. Avoid! Avoid at all cost!
We have yet received the payment for our bag two months after we shipped it to a buyer, even though the website shows a payment has been made and the transaction has been completed. We reached out to the customer service via online chat and their agents all have a horrible attitude. They forwarded the inquiry to the payment team and quoted 15 days max response time. We waited that long and reached out again and at that point they just couldn't care less and told us to be patient. We were patient for 2 months and couldn't take it any more. Consider yourself warned. Don't ever trade on this platform!
I made 2 purchases from the app both of which were never sent and canceled by VC. Their FAQs state that refunds by PayPal will be processed in 24 hours. Well, it's been 24 hours and no refund. I contacted them by chat and the agent stated that it can actually take up to 5 days. Stay away from this business unless you like lending them your money for 20 days interest free.
I have been selling and buying on Vestiaire for several years now. I will say things have definitely improved in terms of their processes. I also like the new upgrades to the platforms.
Most of the sellers take AGES to send the item or they don't send at all.
The website takes around 30% of the price which is way more than necessary.

VC transferred money to my bank account, but i filled all datas on my bank account, as VC manager said me. But there was an error on bank account, my bank send money them back. But they assured me and promised that they will re transfer backed money using PayPal, but they never do it, i am waiting 1 month, but they are sending me nothing. So i sell my clothing for free. Its very bad, managers are not professional, they are wont'nt to help me, they can do only one thing, leave the chat.
Sold item ref#*******. I am still waiting my money, i very need it, due to quarantine. It is 124$. I dont know what to think, when big Company like VC cant or wont'nt transfer me my money.

Wedding dress took months For delivery. Missed event. Item was incorrectly shipped as an exchange and so the delivery man wouldn't leave the dress without another item from me. This happened 3 times despite VC urgently asked to amend shipping. Rude, no response, didn't care. Customer service won't speak to you, can't amend orders. No one followed up. Eventually contacted their media department and was offered a 50 voucher. Horrendous. Distressing. Never ever again. Avoid
I unfortunately bought a counterfeit Fendi bag (Order no. *******) from Vestiaire who always boasts that they authenticate all products that are sold on their platform. I receive the bag today and the brand tag inside the bag spells "FFNDI" (!) instead of FENDI [please see attached photos]. I have already spotted this from the sellers' photos after I ve placed the order (my fault of overlooking this detail when I hit the "buy" button) and raised this to Vestiaire and wanted to cancel my order. However, they only said their "experts" of authenticators will look at it when they received the item. I am appalled that they missed out this very obvious failure and still sent this counterfeit to me! On top of this ridiculous mis-spelling, some other details of the bag are rather poorly made that can be signs of a counterfeit. Even a layman like me can spot that. How can some "experts" miss that out? If they cannot perform their authenticating job, they should not say so and make this as their selling point to attract people to buy items from them.
Please be careful when buying from Vestiaire. Obviously they cannot authenticate and one is still taking the risks of getting fake items there.
I bought a Gucci belt from Davide on vestiare collective, I received a fake Gucci belt for 200euros, I shipped IT back and they even said it's fake and I hâd luck after more than 1 month i got my money back but they refuse to ban Davide and he îs stil selling a lot of Gucci fake belt and wallets on vestiare collective and I try to Comment on his items to make people stop buying his fake items but vestiaire keeps deleting my Comments and he succesfully stilul selling fakes!
Two for two fails.
First item ordered was not as described, thankfully they did well and refunded my money, but still disappointing.
Second time, i made an offer on an item, it was accepted, i made immediate payment. Then the seller decided it wasn't available anymore. Guess they got a better side offer. I have been advised i will get as refund 'as soon as possible' yet paypal refunds are pretty instant, and they have done nothing, so i opened a dispute.
Buyer beware. L certainly wont be bothering again, asked them to delete my account - of which locking me out was instant, if only they could manage the refund as fast...
Never order an item from VC! After hours of researching the VC policies, I've found tremendous red flags. To start, there are no refunds for items sold by Private sellers. Also, you have to wait 15 days after your order was purchased to even request a refund. So the company sits on hundreds of thousands of dollars while we wait forever for fraud sellers to play games with our items. VC does not reprimand sellers like EBay and other sites. You can create an account and pretty much do whatever you want. Also, the entire company runs on an electronic clock system that does not get manipulated by humans. So in regards to refunds, cancelling sales, and disputes, nothing will be resolved if the clock hasn't expired. It's extremely frustrating an I will never shop on their site again. Seller fees are insane as well! Save yourself the headache an avoid VC like a plague.
I had an offer accepted on a bag being sold by SemiH in France. 21 days later, a refund appears, no explanation. I won't be using them again.

Not only they take high commission, they provide poor service and the assistances via email or chat are often rude and careless.
There is also lack of protection for the sellers and limited for the buyers as well. The VC policy clearly only protect VC from any sort of conflict and allow them to just disassociate the situation by sending you an email basically saying "well, too bad but it is not our concern"
Stay away from this platform, there are many other choice of platforms today, and VC will be the one that I stay away from.

I gave this rate to Vestiarie C. Because this company is a joke, I'm just done with their excuses. I sold a Swarovski bracelet on Jan/06/2020 and according to the company's policy I would get paid by Jan/21st. OK, I checked at the app and it was informing that the payment had been done. Checking on my account details at the app I saw that one number was wrong and I contacted them after I fix it. Well, let's make something clear here, I know it was my fault that the account number wasn't correct at the time of payment, but I contacted the company right away and I knew that it was "fixable". I waited for weeks because they said they are having a large volume of other issues to be solved; However I know it's very easy to solve my case, since they probably got their money back from the bank, the account they had paid do not exist, so the transference was never really completed. They just had to pay me again through the right account number. It has been over 40 days since I contacted them about this matter, I'm waiting for a solution and they just keep sending me the same email almost every week. I truly believe by now that they are trying to fool me and they will never going to pay me. Run from this company, go sell your things somewhere else.
If you find yourself on this website run away! I bought one pair of shoes which after a month were canceled, but during that time i bought another pair not knowing that there was a problem with my first order. They say the items gets checked, ect. NOT! The shoes came in different sizes! And they wouldn't return them! I even shipped them to a New york office and then was told "nope sorry, no returns for these" so pissed! Thats my hard earned money that just got stolen! Even if its its something you want and you want to try it, dont! Save you money and headaches!
I paid good money for a Lemaire trench coat on Vestiare Collective. Had to wait while it went through the authentication process. I wonder what it's even for because when I received the coat, the tag was SO OBVIOUSLY fake, the fabric was cheap and loose thread was hanging off the seams. They have terrible customer service, the live chat is a robot, couldn't connect to a real person to resolve the issue. I will be taking this up with Paypal.
I started ca. 3 months ago to shop with them and now since 2 weeks selling as well.
So far I am happy with the
- 3 articles cancelled by the buyer
- 4 articles received (Hermes scarf & Dvd dress checked by their expert team, Versace Skirt and Prada ballerinas through direct sellers) all in pristine condition and for good price
- 2 articles sent back: one Prada skirt was either fake and/or just had stains amd One LV bag that was listed as in great condition had big discoloration. Both items were checked (!) by the expert team. I sent both back amd got a refund.
- so far 4 articles sold.
All in call I find customer service great and refunds come fast. Yet when it comes to authentification of bought product, they only have a 2/4 success rate in my case.
Horrible! Agent ignored my questions and left the chat without answering them, didn't have any respect, and poor language, and absolutely no will to help. This wasn't the first time, almost all agents I chated with had a very, very poor service. Wanted to make a formal complaint in the end and expressed this to the agent and he left the chat. VC is taking our money from their fees for then be treated this poorly way. Fortunaley there are other platforms!
I suffered from their so-called "team of experts" as a buyer last year when they sold me a fake LV Montaigne bag. It was such a terrible fake, not even a mirror quality, took me 2 seconds of looking at it to determine that this is a counterfeit. I really wanted to involve a lawyer and prosecute them for selling counterfeit but was too busy with work. Stopped buying anything from them since then. Today I received an email from this con artists saying that the item I sold there (item with retail value 2550 EUR) is not authentic! Can you believe that? The same bunch of cons who sent me a fake bag couple months ago now saying that the bag I sold through their platform is not authentic. The bag I purchased myself personally from LV in France early December, for which I still keep the original receipt and which can be authenticated and confirmed by ANY third-party professional authenticator because it was bought from LV directly. This bunch of "experts" is saying that this bag is a fake. Wondering, are they going to scam me now and send me a fake instead? Or "loose" it and send me nothing? Just FYI Vestiaire - even though you deleted the page with my item now, I screenshoted everything: all my original pictures including the data code. The packing and shipping process has been videotaped so I have more than enough proofs of what I sent to you. Such a nonsense! I'm going to France for business next week, planning on visiting their office in person and a closest police station. Just not sure where to go first
