I don't know why this company has so many bad reviews, i'm a first time customer and I purchase a Dolce & Gabbana bag and a wallet from Different sellers, my items had to go through authentication before they got sent to me, The bag no problem It went through authentication just fine and it is amazing and beautiful as you can see, with the wallet I received an email stating that the measurements of the wallet where off, so they gave me an option to accept or cancel, so I went and cancel and I got a full refund the next day to my PayPal account, if it wasn't for their authentication I could have received a fake item I am so glad I did not, so this company is awesome as a first time buyer I am so pleased with this Purchase as you can see it's beautiful, I do recommend vestiaire collective to everyone

Hello everyone I bought a big brand gianviti rossi boot which size is 37,5 my feet are 37 but this boots is tightly I sent many message for return I dispatched and they returned the item to me again so I lost my money. The company communication is not good, I cant get any help from them so I stopped to buy. My boots was checked 2 times for size but they approved the size 37,5 they are joking me. I said them "you tried the boot on any 37,5 foot of women... I know they don't want to refund my money also they know this boot is not 37,5 :)

I got a good deal out of a pair of YSL. VC authentification team said there's a scratch and send it back to the sender. I said I didn't care for the scratch and willingly to pay. They sent it back anyway said it's customers service which I think is bull$#*!. The customer wanted to buy and the seller wanted to sell. VC got a commission so why would they have to go thought the trouble?
I use it regularly to buy slightly vintage items - and am glad that i as a buyer have the option to make an offer to the seller, this feature has been useful. During a year, there has been minor problems which were resolved quickly, one instance the quality-control team forgot my item so i had to remind them, another time i received an item with a hole in it which i got refund for so the service i received was good because my questions and my complaints were resolved by refunds or offers using email or phonecall. It has overall been straightforward - one thing which has got to improve, are the shoes! At vc they got some decent measurements listed if you buy from their central storage BUT no i hate it when the shoes dont fit because surprise not all shoe designers use the same tapes and there are no exceptions to return them. They have a resell option available for a day or so, but i got involved as a buyer, not a seller. Its still good from my perspective in which depending on items not being shipped from another continent.
Vestiaire Collective has no customer service! Their phone number doesn't work, they almost never respond to emails and when they do, they send a generic response that has nothing to do with an issue. How can you run a business without having a customer service?
NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! If you have a problem don't count on them to help you.
I live in the US and got paid duty long before they knew how much it was going to be. In the end when the package arrives in the US, DHL contacts me to tell me that Vestiaire did not pay them and that therefore I had to pay the customs duties within 5 days otherwise the package would be returned. Note that the customs duties that Vestiaire Co made me pay are higher than the amount that DHL asks me. I explained the situation to DHL, and according to them under US law it is a fraud and that I should sue them, which I think I will.
No one has contacted me for a week. They might be more responsive when faced with a letter from a lawyer.
By the way, their customer service blamed me because according to them I contacted them too often which is slowing down the procedure (great when you know that you have 5 days before your package is returned). It's been three days since I contacted them for the last time, yet still no response.

I will never ever sell an item here again, and I strongly recommend people that wanted to try selling on this site to stay away and try somewhere else.
They received my item and after 3 days they send an email saying that they could not verify the authenticity. No other explanation!
Now to get my item back I need o pay the shipping myself!
I am really mad and also upset that although I read other reviews saying the exact same thing, I still sold my item here.
I wanted to sell my LeBoy bag through VS a few months ago, and had no trouble finding a buyer for it. But when sending it to VS authentication team, the team said it was undoubtedly a fake one. I was shocked as I had bought it myself at the boutique, and I had also attached with the DUPLICATED RECEIPTS that I requested from boutique email, after all, who keeps a receipt for that long. Anyway, after they said it was a fake bag, I had to pay for them to send it back. But when I received my bag I was stunned with what I received, they put my bag in a very tiny box. And when I opened it, I saw that my bag had indeed been deformed. Since it was during lockdown at that time, I could only send pictures to Chanel after-sales and they told me that there was no way to fix the bag being squashed in this condition. I first contacted VS aftersales but got absolutely no response. So I posted a REVIEW on Trustpilot and they told me and I emailed them, but no reply. In fact, I replied shortly after, but they never bothered me again.
Have sent an item using the UPS label provided by Vestiaire and the address seems to be wrong or the buyer did not receive it for reasons that I will never know. I don't have any form to contact the buyer and Vestiaire says the item will be returned back to me and the sale cancelled. While this is not obviously my fault, vestiaire does not simply want to contact the buyer or provide a new label. They even suggested me to send the item again once this gets back but at my expense and they would take the same comission... not only they are not capable of fixing this they also don't understand how frustrating this is, stressful and the time you lose... obviously this company doesn't honor their sales and service they say they provide and there is no point on selling here. I would strongly recommend you to use other platforms in the market and avoid this!
I placed 2 orders within days and both were cancelled I thought I found the perfect site to buy things that I would normally not be able to purchase. Extremely disappointed this has happened twice now. Doesn't give me hope. Cancelled without reason. Why?
Worst customers service in the world, these people do not have ANY training before they handle and check your bag, just ask for recipe everytime. How on earth am i gonna find a receipt of something i brought a few years ago? And why the hell do i need to pay up to thousands of commission if u just gonna ask me for receipt? Isnt the whole point you exist is to check bags without certification? AND NOT TO MENTION HOW RUDE THOSE STAFF ARE! It's they are working for us for free or they are actually paying us or something. Btw some tips for new sellers, when they refuse to return your bag, just call the police to their shipping address :) that's the only way works, no need to wait for their emails cause you very likely need to wait up to months
I've been a member for ages, and unfortunately felt compelled to tell other potential customers not to get their hopes up. Over the last year I've had six (6!) consecutive orders cancelled after the sale went through – a few times after weeks of waiting and hundreds (sometimes 1000s) of $ being transferred. It is refunded of course, but after waiting, expecting for weeks and weeks, and then suddenly the item is 'not available'. There seems to be no accountability or trust system to actually follow through on a sale. No way to leave a review of the seller or contact them, either. After these multiple bad experiences, I wonder how many of these items are actually for sale, or whether there is something else going on. It's like shopping at an imaginary store. Quite a big waste of time, in my opinion better spent on other sites where you actually receive what you bought! :)

I sold an item I bought on Vestiaire a while back, then they declared it counterfeit and I now have to wire them 12 euros to get it back in 3 weeks. In addition, their customer service people are rude and incompetent and their entire platform has horrible UX. I would give 0 if I could.
I've tried to order items multiple times off VC and have had the seller 'change their mind' weeks after I've already paid for the items! Incredibly frustrating considering most of the items are discontinued or hard to find! I have been refunded promptly though, which is appreciated. But its still an annoying circumstance!
If I could leave zero starts I would, I sold my item on July 25, they got it on Jul 31, shipped it and payment on the website says it was transferred, never got it. They told me that there was an error in my account number for my payment, I did not make this error it was them and they tried to blame me for it. Still no payment, I have contacted them several times and I have spoken to over 10 agents and one over the phone, yet nothing. I have messaged them through Instagram, they ignore me what kind of service is this? This is a huge scam and will be getting a letter from my lawyer suing them.
First they blocked a purchase because they said they cannot deliver to other countries. Then when i repeated them they rudely "corrected" me and said continents. Then when I changed me delivery address to be within the same country as the seller/item they STILL block it. CS told me it's because my billing address is in the US... wtf? I have never had an issue like this before. And CS couldn't care less. These policies make zero sense what a horrific company. After reading all of these other 1 star reviews I think I dodged a bullet.
Purchased a 1000 item from the Erika Jayne collection. Paid for four weeks ago, I notified company it had not shipped, they stated they will not ship to a post office (but accepted the order direct shipping to the post office and nowhere on the website does it say they don't), and are refusing to refund my purchase. Customer service has been contacted seven times. After holding the order without even notifying me they don't ship to P. O. Boxes, I have no product, and they won't return funds nor will they ship the product. Will never order from them again. And apparently I'm out 1000 bucks or will have to file against the company. All potential customers, beware of this shady company.
