Avoid this company at all costs! They are thieves and liars. We rented a car from them and they had a paper license plate taped to the window, it fell off and the car was towed. We had to pay to get it out of the impound lot. They said they would refund the fee to my card. 4 months later, after numerous emails, calls, and a BBB complaint, and I still have no refund. For something that was 100% their fault! The manager at the Tampa location, Leia said she would refund it via email, and then just never did. Straight up fraud, despicable business practices. A cheap price always comes with a catch, don't find yourself a victim of this company like I did.
Charged a fee for parking fee where I was not even near. Calling to get answers they keep droppin the calls when I wait over 15-20 minutes. Representative hangs up while talking. Manager never available to talk to when asked. They know my number now they drop. I called blocked they answer and hang up when I say please don't hang up. She did it again while I was talking. Please don't deal with these people.
This is by far the worst and most crooked company I've ever dealt with. First when I booked my rental it only gave me the option to pay upfront not at pick up. My trip was cancelled and I had to cancel my rental. I called the location in Tampa airport where I was supposed to pick up my rental car from and was told I will receive a full refund from an employee named Stan! Stan also told me to call back on Monday and speak to the corporate office when their open for the refund. I called on Monday and first spoke with Gina who was rude and kept over talking me and putting words in my mouth. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was given to a lady named Stephanie who in my opinion sounded exactly like Gina. Again I was told I will not be getting a refund because I prepaid. I explained I wasn't given the option to pay at the counter only to prepay in order to book my reservation. Stephanie again repeated herself disregarding what I said. She said again I will not get my money back but I can get a credit for upto 1 year. I said I want an email sent to me stating that while we're on the phone. Stephanie said let me go to my desk and I'll call you back in 5 mins. Pay the extra money and go with a well know car service! This is a true example of you get what you paid for!
Went through a third party to rent (Priceline). Reserved a standard SUV. Bought the additional insurance. When I got there to pick up the car, looked like a very shady unorganized business. The gentleman who helped me I could barely understand, he went through the contract so quickly and added things I thought would be taken off, and was told it would all even out upon return, including a $250 deposit. I was sent outside, the car waiting was not what I had rented...I asked the lady in the lot and she argued it was. I had no time to try and resolve it then to get to the airport in time. When I returned the vehicle, once again, unorganized, I had to track down a woman wandering in the lot who didn't appear to work there, no company identity. We looked at the car all was good I asked again about the refund and was told it would take about a week for it to clear. Here I am 2 months later, no resolution, no response to calls or emails or from the BBB. Nothing but crooks! Never again, stick to reputable companies.
First, it took forever to get picked up at the airport. When you call, which we did many times, they don't answer the phone. This is in Ft Lauderdale. Their office, off site, looked like a glorified shack. No sense of urgency to help customers. It was like being at a remote island in a third world country.
We finally get helped and get a car and then they wouldn't honor my insurance, so they ripped me off for 50 bucks. The car return was fine. I rented this car through Expedia, so beware.
I rented this car in March and on my June credit card statement, I had a charge of over $100 in May. I hadn't been in Florida since March. When I called Visa, they told me it was set up as a recurring charge. Visa canceled the charge and put them on watch.
I've been renting cars for over 40 years and they are the worst, by far. Do NOT use them! Crooks
For me, my experience was great! I didn't use a third party use and the price was fantastic, especially for no mileage limit! They picked me up and took me back to the airport, which is fabulous!
The people was friendly, made it ease and quick to get my car! And what I love is that they actually had my car on the lot compared to other companies. This made my trip soo smooth! I will definitely use them again!
If I could give less than one star I would! Absolutely the worst of the worst! I booked a reservation thru their website! Got up 5 am flew from Chicago to NC. Arrived on time went to pick up location to get "free" shuttle to be told "lady were out of cars " are you kidding me what do I do now I'm stranded? Manager: call an Uber … WHAT? I reserved a car and I need a car. You can wait but no promises? I guess my reservation means NOTHING … Finally after 2 hours of waiting someone returns a car. Manager tells me he's going to clean it up and come get me. Another 1/2 hour goes by I go to the garage where I find all the employees sitting huddled in a corner talking, laughing and ignoring the fact I'm waiting. He proceeds to tell me he doesn't have the key? WHAT IM READY TO PULL MY HAIR OUT! When we're u going to inform me.I know I saw a key when the customer walked in to return the car. I look on the counter and there it was just sitting there! They were too busy socializing to worry about anyone of us sitting in the waiting area! They had me the car keys to a FILTY DIRTY CAR! Truly a VERY VERY BAD managed buisness! Buyers beware!
I arrived in Orlando at 9pm on a Friday and was told to call them the second i land and someone will come pick me up since they close at 10pm. Well i called them at 9:05 pm and just got a recording to stand out side at this location at the Airport and they will pick me up. Well me and my son at Orlando airport waited and waited and no show. I call all the numbers i could find of them and could not get a hold of a single living person. By 10:30pm i was freaking out cause this was the car i needed for the whole week and im stranded at an airport with my young son in a state we never been in before. Asking around to other pick up groups i see i was not alone in waiting and they even tried to call them as one worker for another car place knew the one driver. But couldnt get ahold of anyone eitherLucky i figured out how to use Uber as that saved me. Next day i call them and explained the situtaion and the lady was so darn mean and she just said we close at 10pm and i told her i was there at 9:05 and she just brushed me off rudely. And then she said they dont do pick ups outside of the airport. Im like you got to be kiding me as now i need to find a ride to their location to pick up my rental car. Thank you Uber again. When i arrived the lady was again rude and just talked so fast and she had bad english that i didnt understand most of what she said and just didnt care to re explain anything. I pick up the car and do my vacation with my son. I arrive a day early for personal reasons and didnt know where to park the car and i asked and no one could talk in english so i couldnt make heads or tails for anything they said. Guy did a walk around car and said its good and i signed the paper and after everything was done i left. Now i check my credit card statement and they billed me $28.26 for unknow reasons. I look at their site and got the email and emailed them and i get an error that Mail delivery failed. Tried twice and same thing. So now their email on their site does not work. I know when i call them tomorrow i will have to hope i get ahold of someone that knows english and that isnt rude to me. But this company is horrible and this unknown charge is BS. Do NOT use them EVER..
These folks are so bad in business such that I had to abandon a two days rental with them. I didn't even bordered to pursue my money. They rude, they are about 10miles out of the airport grounds. They are a complete mess. No one should do business with them. You gonna regret it.
This company is the worst car rental company ever the service is so bad,the emplee is so slow doesn't serve the customer don't rent car from them
I made a reservation as usual (Rentalcars.com), but when I arrived at the airport noticed it was not with one of the companies I normally use. Had to walk approximately 100 yards to a pick-up location where I waited (1 hour) with a group of people for the shuttle service provided by Easirent. Thinking we were being taken to another part of the airport, I performed a google search and learned the location was 25 minutes away. Once we arrived, although I purchased issuance at the time of booking, I was told I needed to provide proof of Personal Full Coverage. Had to then wait for shuttle back to airport and rebook with another rental company (3 hours later). I got no support/refund from RentalCars.com, and will avoid both of these jokes going forward!
This is by far the worst Rental car ever PLEASE DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT RESERVE YOUR CAR RENTAL WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL QUOTE YOU A PRICE AND THEN MARK IT UP 3 TIMES MORE WHEN YOU ARRIVE I WENT TO THE 1777 MCCoy RD. IN ORLANDO LOCATION, DO NOT EVER RENT YOUR CAR HERE TRUST ME THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS THEN WHEN I RETURNED MY RENT THE LADY WHO CHECKED MY CAR IN TRIED TO GET ME TO SIGN A PAPER TO SAY THAT THERE WAS DAMAGE TO THE CAR WHEN THERE WASN'T "AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST THEY ARE CROOKS….
I rented this car several weeks before I traveled. When I went to pick it up I ended up waiting an hour and a half even though I had a reservation. I signed in and waited. They took several folks who came in after me. Finally I asked them why they were taking people before me. They tried to say I had not signed in. I pointed to the sign in sheet and saw my name crossed out. When I pointed it out I was told it must have been a customer trying to cut the line. Once I got the car I noted there was a crack in the windshield. I went inside to tell them and they said they had not noticed but they would make a note. Also there was damage to the rear area around the drivers side. No one wanted to come look at it. I was told they gave me a 2023 trailblazer because the care I booked was already gone. This was a fiasco. Not to mention I took out the online insurance and they told me that was not good enough as it only covered collision. They insisted on my private insurance. I can't wait to return the car and see if they try to charge me for the damage. I have a gut feeling they are going to try to say we did the damage since no one would come look at it. This whole experience was horrible. I will not use nor will I recommend this company.
Beware! This company is terrible. Unethical and unprofessional. They will sell you and upcharge you for things you don't require, from liability insurance to toll processing. They have horrible reviews on every major review site. From google, yelp, trustpilot and pretty much everywhere. We booked with them through economy booking (which as we now realize could care less about whether the company they connect you with are ethical or not)
We booked and prepaid for a rental. We landed in Orlando and waited for the shuttle which is supposed to arrive every half hour but didn't show up. We had to pay to take an Uber to easirents office. Once we got there we were rudely told we were late (?). Really nice way to welcome first time customers.
Even though staff was actually still working, supposedly the office was closed. Again, even though they're giving out and processing rentals. Nowhere when we booked our car rental online where we told they would be closed when we arrived. We did everything correctly.
While completing our booking at their office, we where told we had to add liability insurance. We explained we paid for insurance through economy booking. They said that it was not sufficient, we needed to by liability from them. Only later did we realize we could have purchased from a third party or used our insurance for our own cars. It was almost midnight and our VACATION, who's going to keep arguing. Clearly something this company takes advantage of.
They also told us we needed to pay for toll processing not knowing we had other options.
All of this effectively doubled our rental rate and was just plain shady.
To make matters worse when we returned the car it got even worse. A random guy checked our car and gave us no paperwork. We go into the office the rep said we needed to have paperwork completed by the guy. I said he didn't give us anything. He goes out and they're both confused and the rep literally is upset with us and said he's too busy to help us properly book out.
The entire experience with this company was ridiculous and disgusting. They're clearly broken and they're thieves. I would seriously not recommend using them and will never use them again. And I'm not done. Their business practices are clearly questionable, we received no paperwork on check in or check out.
I see a class action lawsuit opportunity here for sure.
Landed at PIE at 8:30 AM. Went to ground transportation called shuttle. Two tries, no answer.third spoke to Raquel. Said shuttle would arrive shortly.25 minutes later he showed and picked up two other couples.
Taken to Sleep Inn where the checkin was in a hallway of the hotel. Told to wait in dining area, fill out info from scan code and we'd be called to check in. One couple was called, 12 minutes to checkin, then had to wait 30 minutes for car. Myself and three others waited hour and a half, still not checked in by Raquel.
Pay extra with other rental companies to make best use of time. This is a fly by night company with two people working…one drives shuttle and cleans cars. One checks in and cleans cars. She had people waiting and spent time on phone with a personal call that I overheard. She took phone calls and told people she couldn't help and would be two hours before she could help. Later she came out and said computer was frozen and she was working with IT to unfreeze. I am
On my way to rent car at airport I came from…two hours later.
Horrible customer service, no understanding of the car rental business and definitely don't respect people's time.
I reserved a pick-up truck with Easirent because I NEEDED a pick-up truck. I flew 1500 miles to West Palm Beach Florida to my deceased fathers home. I needed to move his stuff out before we can sell the house. Two nights before I left Easirent sent a confirmation that a truck would be ready for me. I waited in line at Easirent for over an hour only to find that they had no trucks on hand. How can they allow that to happen? I couldn't switch into a car. Only a truck would do. I had to cancel the "reservation", walk to a nearby hotel lobby and start fresh. National Rent-A-Car rented me a very good truck. So all was not lost — but beware of this companies low standards with customer care.
I waited in line for 1.5 hours to get a car and there were two people and then when it was my turn one (after 1.25 hours) decided to take a "break" while everyone is in the waiting room looking at him...then he rented me a car with no gas and didn't tell me it didn't have gas (my fault I should've checked but traveling with a teen is chaotic) and when I got to the interstate I got a low fuel error. I called and I was told their protocol is to rent the vehicle with whatever gas is in it...smh. Will never use this company again.
I work at the airport and I'm familiar with the rental car process. Therefore I'm aware that the main drivers can indeed be changed if the person on the reservations allows it. Therefore I called to have the main driver changed and the representative I had refused to make any changes and instead forced me to cancel the reservation and continued to fully charge me for the services. Stated that we hadn't picked up the car when the whole time we were standing in the lobby trying to pick it up.
Paid/reserved car a week before, got to Orlando location, had to sign in? I told them I paid and reserved my car, said it didn't matter. Took 2 1/2 hours to get out of there with car I didn't reserve. Place should be called Sleezyrent, place sucks..
Priceline recommended the company Easirent for car rental. Their reviews are 1 star or worst. What Priceline says concerning renting is not what Easirent states once you arrived. The day I was suppose to rent the weather in DFW became extremely hazardous. I called several times to express my arrival would be the following morning. After no answer, which is several reasons for the 1 star reviews. No one ever answers. I sent an email that obviously no one from Easirent ever read or ignored so they could set me up with another appointment to charge me more. The following day I arrived and the first guy was rude and arrogant about parking in front of their business and there are no 'not parking' indicators. Then the young lady said I would need to make a new appointment which was almost one hundred dollars more. Priceline said $250 hold, Easirent said $500 hold and extra fees for toll, additional insurance, and gas. I promptly canceled and left. I went through Expedia and used Payless.
