I rented on 2/17/23 in Charlotte, NC. It took an hour to find the shuttle pick up areas since they do not have a sign or info on rental email. I called for a pick up but get a voice mail. Called repeatedly and finally called another # and got a human (30 more mins). Was told 10-15 mins which was actually 47 mins. Once at the rental site (off-airport). One woman working and 3 mens walking around the office. Another hour passed before I get a vehicle and I was third in line. Wasted 3+ hours. Not worth the time. The truck was not cleaned since water bottles were scattered in front and back. Gas tank was half full and noted as full. Next day someone called to ask which car they gave us as they did not know. Pay more and go elsewhere or your blood pressure will go up. Also, took 13 days and 4 calls to get deposit of $250 returned. DO NOT RENT FROM EASIRENT! Priceline should not offer rentals from them.
UPDATE: I returned the car on Monday, January 9,2023, at least one hour before the return time. I received a call several days later if I returned the car! I explained how I returned the car. Today( February 27,2023), I saw that they have charged me $39. Not sure why! Trying to reach them to get my money back… no one is answering my phone calls. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
A lot of trouble with this place. You pay a little less than compared to other companies but then face substantially poor service. It is not worth it! The pick-up was very hard. It took a lot of time to get the car out. After I made the payment and signed the documents, I was told I need to wait for an oil change.
I returned a car on 24 of February, 2023. I was attended by two exceptional employees whose names are Eisha and Tony. They were very helpful and pacient with me, they provided an outstanding attention and interest to give the best of what they could in order to attend the clients as fast as possible, and as better as it is possible. They one of the best, if it is not the best rental car employees I have ever seen in my life. Specifically about the company in itself, Easirent is a good company but I think it needs a bigger office to attend more people faster and more employees such like Eisha and Tony.
This company is a complete rip off. Tons of hidden charges that turn out more than the car rental. I was not offered a walk around inspection of existing damages nor was I shown the sheet with existing damages, scratches etc. We added my wife as a driver but were not told that this would double the dailey rate. You are far better off to go to a name brand rental agency who are forthcoming with actual charges. A very expensive lesson for me. One that I would never repeat and never recommend. It was not possible to do no stars
I rented a compact car from Easirent after Hurricane Ian in FL. I had a layover in Atlanta where I missed my connection due to the wheelchair service. I immediately called Easirent to notify them that I would be about 2-3 hours late, but still wanted the car. The woman on the other end assured me there wouldn't be a problem. I arrived at Easirent and was waiting in line. The couple in front of me were told that their midsize car was not available any longer and they could upgrade to a full-size but would have to pay the difference. They argued with the employee but were told that was their only option. Luckily for them someone else in line who was returning a midsize car spoke up and they got that car. It was now my turn and I was told the same thing. This was a classic bait and switch. I argued that I shouldn't have to pay any additional $ as I had called and was told not to worry. They said if I didn't like it the shuttle could take me back to the airport where there weren't any cars. As my house was damaged by the hurricane, I needed a car desperately because I was only there for a week to get things done. They charged me $140 for the upgrade. Although I disputed it with my credit card company I was still charged. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE DURING A NATURAL DISASTER.
That's unacceptable! Came to Fort Myers FL airport on Saturday night pick up my rental car, and they're announced that there is no cars available! It's dark outside, I'm not familiar with area/ state. No one called me or email me with to let me know about.
Young man at the customer service very careless, instead of apology told me to shut up when I start complaining about all situation. Ruined my all vacation. Called many times to get my money returned with no luck
People, run from this company! I can't believe that they're still in business after so many complains here
I have nothing to say other than we had great service from your agent at the Tampa location.
Sam went out of his way to accomodate us in every way.
I highly recommend Sam as a valuable employee. Thankyou so much!
I order a rental and I was not told I had to deposit $500 for a two day rental, no where was I informed of this in the website, or else I would of went with another company. I have NEVER had any issues with other rental companies, when I arrived was told about this deposit which is a complete inconvenience since I was not informed, I am assuming travelers will do it in desperate cases since this was near the airport but since I was a local I refused. I had paid a $30 insurance deductible and now they do not want to refund when I did not even drive their vehicle, DO NOT GET THEM! EXPEDIA tried to get my refund and stated that EASIRENT refused my refund. SO NOW I AM Going to post this in every review. DONT RIP PEOPLE OFF!
I reserved and paid for a car with Easirent at Miami Airport. First of all it's not actually at the airport. My flight was delayed so instead of a 530pm pickup we got out of the airport at 740pm. The Easirent offices close at 8 so there was no shuttle to get there. I called over 10 times trying to get a hold of someone to notify them I was on my way, no answer. I needed a car to leave the airport and get to my final destination so I had to rent a car from a rental company at the airport. I did and initiated the process to try to cancel my reservation and get a refund from Easirent. I was denied my refund and in essence paid for two rentals. I will never rent from Easirent ever again in my life. Don't advertise that you are a rental company at the airport and then only have offices open until 8pm. On top of that, don't list a phone number for service that is never answered. Even when the expedia agent was attempting to contact them to cancel my reservation, it took 4 days to get a hold of anyone. Worse service I've ever encountered.
Excellent service from Raquel S from St Pete/Tampa, She went out of her way to help us out, hope she is up for a promotion, Dave L 1/11/24
They do not answer the phone or provide customer service. I could not get my car and they DO NOT REFUND
I rented a car from this company, the TPMs light was on. The next day I woke up to a flat tire. I changed it to the spare and went to return the car and to my surprise, I was charged $100. If anything, you should have given me a credit for the inconvenience. You're adding insult to injury. I was given a phone number, but each time I called, and I got placed in the queue for about 20 minutes then they hung up. I do not recommend this company to anyone.
Outstanding service! Agent went out of her way to help me and I was also fortunate to get an upgrade with no charge. Highly recommended!
Had rented car thru Easirent ( broker not car rental company)totally got ripped off.
1. Do not buy insurance thru Easirent, because car rental will add their own and they scare you by taking extra deposit if you do not take insurance from car rental.
I had a parking fee that came to me less then 20 mins i was there. Easirent charged me 60 pounds just admin fee and then i got charged fee for park company another 60 pounds.
I will never deal with this company and anyone thinking about going with them please be very careful.
Wanted to give a small agency a try. Booked MCO through Priceline (never again with them too). Site advertised a shuttle to an airport site. It's not at the airport! We get there, and the slime-bag clerk insists that he needs my wife's phone number (wtf?!? - she doesn't even drive). Then he wants my insurance card (again - wtf?!?!?). I've a good credit card, DL, etc. and the itinerary makes no mention of me providing any of this. Then he rudely tells me to call my insurance agent and put them on the phone with him (excuse me - it's after 7pm). Also, I don't need this to rent a car (I rent cars often). He then tells me that I should always have my proof of auto insurance on my person - he does (supposedly). Really?!?!? That's when I told him no. As we exchanged expletives his meathead associate was hoping for it to escalate. I'm smarter than that, but I should have been smart enough to know that their shuttle - wreaking of port-o-potty sanitizer - is actually the scent of an impending scam. They're just trying to make you purchase their insurance - and who knows what else… We took an Uber back to MCO and happily rented from a reputable agent/agency - without all the non required bs to do so.
Easirent
Thank so much to Kimberly, she was very helpful, she answered all of our questions and provided a very good costumer service, we'll definitely recommend her and her staff. Their prices are very reasonable too.
YOU ARE BEING WARNED. What a joke. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Completely disorganized and mirrors a Boyz in the Hood type of place. Many people waiting while one guy was kind of working while the others were standing around eating snacks and talking about baby mama drama. I had enough. We finally get to the rental part and the guy wants to sit there and lie telling me he asked us about insurance when he didn't. I let him know I wasn't dealing with that attitude. Completely unprofessional. Beware...no paper contract rental agreement. They just have you signing stuff they see on their end. Time to get the car...again, waiting around. Nobody seemed to know what needed to happen next. Save your frustration and go with a reputable company. SIDE NOTE: Keep an eye on your teenage daughters. Apparently one of the MEN working outside kept asking my FOURTEEN YO daughter how old she was. Unfortunately, she didn't tell me about it until days later. If she had told me earlier, I'm positive I would be writing this review while out on bond.
They don't either bother to call you nor send e-mail with issues, additional charges!
They fix the problem fast, but with total incompetence!
I booked a car from Easirent at DFW.through the Orbitz website for November 15-18,2022. First of all, this is not located at DFW. It requires about a 15 minute shuttle ride from the airport. When I called for the shuttle - 2 times - there was no answer. A shuttle finally showed up and we got on with 2 other customers. Upon arrival, the whole place was in disarray. There were only 2 people working, one of whom said he was sick and should have been in bed. There were at least 8 people in line in front of us. One of the individuals had been waiting over 2 hours.
In spite of having my booking email, when I scanned the app to check in, my booking didn't show up.
What appeared to be happening was there was a very limited number of rental vehicles available. They were bringing them in and cleaning them to turn them over as quickly as possible.
When I finally got to the desk, we were able to confirm that I had a car available. When he handed me the agreement to sign, the price was over $100 more than quoted in the booking email. Although the email clearly states that the final price includes all applicable taxes and fees, I was informed that this was due to being located offsite from the airport and having to pay shuttle fees.
We finally received the vehicle and it was fine. However, they had used an excess of Armorall making the floor boards slick. They had sprayed some kind of substance that created a film inside the windows decreasing visibility.
Surprisingly, the return of the vehicle was a much easier process. But I will never again even look at an Easirent listing. This was anything but easy. We paid too much, and waited tool long.
