I wouldn't use UPS if they were the last delivery company on earth. I needed to send an item to my 90+ yr old aunt. I went to UPS to ship it and they wanted me to dismantle the item and expected my aunt to reassemble it herself. I called them and I quote they told me " We guarentee it will get there but, can't guarentee the shape it will be in when it arrives". I got the same response from corporate.

Place sucks

Just found out my package that left St. Pete to come to Daytona just left the California hub. It was supposed to be here last Wed now won't be here till Saturday. 11 days to deliver across the state of Florida. 4 calls to customer service 2 lied to me 1 said I'll be right back and never did and now this guy says it will be here on Sat. We will see.

UPS meaning: It can't get worse

1 star because there is no option for zero stars. I really don't understand why multinational companies like DELL, WD, and others opt for UPS when delivering their products. UPS service is the worst I have ever experienced. The drivers are so lazy that they never call or try to contact the person. When they get late due to their laziness and are not able to deliver products to the customers, they simply update "The customer was not at the address". This company's license should be immediately cancelled and I am also thinking of moving my plea to the local court here in the Netherlands.

UPS Customer support is astonishingly bad.

After paying custom brokerages fees, UPS refuses to deliver my package. Several calls to customer support after sending them the clearance documents, the agents literally said it was cleared but its not their problem to deliver it. What did I pay shipping fees for? How is this legal?

I don't know what's going on... but if you're giving me an estimate for a delivery time I expect the package to arrive around that damn time. I am FURIOUS! I've missed my delivery 2 times because of them delivering earlier than they said. If I'm being told may package is to be expected around 7PM and I go out to run errands, there is no reason why it should be arriving at 11am! I. AM. BEING. INCONVENIENCED. This has occurred twice! Now I have to structure my day around a delivery time that isn't accurate because the company hires IDIOTS! And the package contains glass so I expect everything to be in perfect shape and I doubt it is because everyone knows UPS doesn't care about your package whatsoever. I. AM. PISSED! I have never been this livid with a company and here I was thinking USPS was the worst!

Today is 5 day delivery

UPS sent me a notice starting Friday morning that my package would be delivered at 7 PM it is now Monday morning and I got a notice UPS will deliver at 7 PM. Called UPS they said oh delivery today means we have five days to deliver it. If you actually need something get a private shipper.

UPS has messed up delivering my packages twice in less than a months time. They're drivers are liars! Making stuff up so they don't have to walk into an apartment complex to deliver a package. It's either you were home, or needs a signature, and this the best one yet "refused" why would I refuse a package i paid for?! All the other excuses are lies as well because I work from home and they never attempt to delivery. I never have trouble with FedEx or Amazon. I'll stick with them and hopefully UPS finds reliable employees.

UPS constantly claim that delivery was attempted but failed due to recipient not available. A lie that is perpetual every 3rd or so delivery. I am always in. I suspect it's the 3nd of thr day and the driver can't be bothered. Useless.

Item attempted to drop off- no call- no knock

No phone call
Email was sent that it would be delivered between 2-6 didn't think I needed to sign for it. It is such an inconvenience as I already waited long enough. Hire people who would get the job done. Or attempt to do it right.

I paid $60 to overnight a package and it was "possibly delayed due to weather", so I called, customer service said it would be an hour later that day-that was 10 days ago. They make you go through hell just to speak to someone in India, they don't care-use Fed ex or USPS

UPS Insurance Scam and Fake Driver Pick-up

I purchased a shipment and paid for insurance for a package valued at $1800 from UPS online. I also paid extra to have a driver come pick it up. On security camera, I saw the driver pull up to the house, never get out of the vehicle, and drive away in under 3 seconds. He never took the vehicle out of gear. Just a stop and go.

So, I eventually decided to take the package to a UPS customer service center myself. The UPS website says that to file an insurance claim (in the event my package were to be lost or damaged), I would need to provide a signed receipt from a UPS employee that I would receive at the time I give them my package.

The UPS employee at the UPS Customer Service Center told me her computer could not tell her if my package was insured or not because I bought the label from the UPS.com website. She said she could not provide me any signed receipt to validate the UPS insurance that I purchased as required by their coverage policy.

I now understand that this is a scam UPS pulls to get people to ship without getting the required documentation so that when a claim is filed, they can simply say "Oh, you should have gotten the signed receipt. Sorry, we can't cover this." Needless to say, I will not be falling for this again.

I am deeply disappointed by UPS. They used to be my go-to shipping company. I just can't justify that at all now.

05/31: Package Our for Delivery and reported damaged
06/01-02: You ask Sender to sign the form for us to Pick it Up
06/03-04: Sender has to request a tracker to be placed.
06/5-06/10: No one knows where it is, and some say it's ready for pick up to it's been damaged.
Shouldn't the policy be to seek Sender's permission or drop it at ours and seek our permission to take further action?
I think it's totally inappropriate, unethical, and misleading. This has affected my dad's blood pressure.

Shame on the management for not having a policy in place.
Shame on you for taking our package/money/efforts/hopes and being beyond ridiculous for not handling one problem.
PS: Precious products handmade by my 70+ parents to my children were ruthlessly made disappeared. NO ONE CARES at UPS.
How can you do this without our permission? Are you really a company?

The worst service there is as delivery

I have been waiting for a package for a week, the driver supposedly brought the package on Tuesday, but he never touched my hand, he left a piece of paper with a location where he supposedly left the package, but he never really left it, since I went the next day to the supposed point where he left it they left and it was not there; I called customer service in Spanish several times and everyone told me the package arrived that day; so 4 days passed; until the 5th day I check the tracking and it says that the package is being returned to the seller…….! What bothers me the most is that customer service in Spanish never did anything, and the worst thing is that I tried to make a complaint, but since I was not the one who sent the package, I could not do anything! SO THAT THE ONE WHO RECEIVES THE PACKAGE HAS NO RIGHTS WHEN USING THE UPS SERVICES! Dedde today I will not let that when I make purchases they send me the package by this company

My package was just delivered to me. And your UPS DRIVER SNUCK through my closed side Gate, past my pool, and INTO MY HOUSE TO DELIVER MY PACKAGE! I'm shaking I'm so livid! How scary to find a man entering my home! This was obviously not my front door! This was the Private gated SIDE entrance! Your people have no right entering a home! WTH?! Completely Unacceptable!
