I went to the UPS store in Denman Mall here in Vancouver. We've had a federal postal strike in Canada and I really needed to mail off an important document to my Union.
I've bern to this store before for computer, fax and express mail stuff before. I knew they were a bit pricey, but my experience tonight was ridiculous.
There was one guy working and about 8 people wanting service. The store was a mess with boxes littered all across the floor. People couldn't move in there and were bumping into each other. The one worker was over whelmed and kept apologizing. He was very disorganized as we all were waiting to mail off letters and send gifts with their mail service.
I had to grab a pen behind his desk because he was busy helping someone else. I filled out my envelope and when it was my turn he told me I needed to fill out another form…he did this with everyone which I thought was a waste of time when UPS could have had those forms and pens out and excesible for all people to fill out while he was busy with other customers.
Finally, after a 25 min wait I got up to the workers desk again and I asked him how much it would cost to mail off a single page letter locally to my Union her in Vancouver. I aLeo asked him what my options were? He told me there was only one option to send it express and it would cost me $35 plus tax. I was shocked! The woman before sent out a whole box filled with gifts for $75 and she was sending it to a different province, For a one page letter I was expecting $10 maybe $15 it was a single page letter and being delivered locally. There was no way I was paying that! I remember thinking is UPS using the postal strike and Christmas to rip people off?
Also none of their prices weee listed in a price board,
I found the store to be extremely disorganized, short staffed for the Christmas season, unprofessional staff, messy interior, no pens or execible forms to fill out and they wasted my time. I even shared this with the one worker there, but he didn't seem genuinely sincere and he just kept apologizing almost as a way to get ride if me.
Anyways will not be going back….$35 for 1 letter…I can't get over it! What a joke and ripping people off. Very upset!
I never seen this kind of unawareness.even parcel is delivered at warehouse but they don't have responsibility to deliver it with customer with reasonable time. I was unaware about UpS. I recommended,never post you parcel UPS. All perishable goods are destroyed due to their delay in delivery. Why you are providing such service even if you cant do it with customers needs. It's about 15 days but I didn't get my parcel, I guess everything will be scrap now. I give one star but they even not deserve any star. Please everyone don't destroy your parcel with deliver by UPS. Worst, unfavourable service.
UPS was chosen through the company I ordered some items from.
I had around 35 emails telling me that they were delivering the items each day then to receive another email to say they were rescheduling as they couldn't deliver.
I waited in on those days between the times they said.
No UPS van ever appeared outside.
I also left signs to leave items in a secure place too and also for neighbours to be in and amended this on the UPS website.
I have advised the company that I ordered from to start using another delivery service.
UPS keeps sending our orders to the wrong address in another city 40kms away, thousands of dollars worth of stuff handed to someone else for the last two years and still right now. Multiple complaints and investigations to simply get compensated weeks later without our ordered items. Unbelievably irritating
1 star is one too many! This is the second time I have used UPS for expedited/overnight service and they have again failed to get it to me on time. First time I paid $130 for next day early morning and it didn't arrive until 2 days later! And to get a refund took months and I had to keep on it with them to actually get the refund. Second time was today, I had an emergency and needed to fix a computer and ordered to have something shipped to me for next day... again paid $60 for it. I got a tracking alert saying it would arrive today at noon. NEVER arrived...just got an email 8pm alerting me that it will now arrive on Monday... 3 days later and AFTER the day I needed it! UPS is doing no favors to themselves or us and their customer service reps SUCK too! If you want your package to get to you onetime and as requested DON'T USE UPS!
As a small business owner I am shocked at UPS charges. I purchased around 700 dollars worth of items from England and they charged me 800 dollars for duties and taxes. Customer service I thought would be helpful but was useless. As a small business it is already tough to survive but stuff like this can take you down. Horrible. So just a warning do not use UPS when ordering out of country.
I ordered a product from ebay to be delivered to me at my place a business, an elementary school. They CLAIMED they attempted the delivery at 5:39 am on Friday morning. Of course we were closed. Per the tracking, the next delivery is scheduled for Saturday, and the school is closed. I called the UPS customer service because trying to change a receiving address on their website is one big ball of confusion and was told that it could only be done by the seller. What I really wanted to do was just to pick it up at the nearby UPS location. No kidding. So, I asked the agent if the package could be delivered on the following Monday, not Saturday because we are closed and she stated again it would have to be done from the shipper's end. I asked her how many delivery attempts do I get and she said three. The kicker was when she told me UPS doesn't deliver packages at 5:39 a.m which means no delivery attempt was made. Lastly I asked her to at least change the time on Monday to be after 8 a.m. She said she would NOTE it. If it gets done that will be the only plus from UPS.
Worst experience today with an aggressive delivery guy. He was full of hate and not happy to do his job. Didn't even bother ringing or answering a question. Parcel 1Z6W845R*******515
If there is NEGATIVE STAR option, I would give NEGATIVE 5 stars. I ordered skin product from UK $376 CAD, UPS charged me $126 for broker fee. Btw I ordered before from same company, I only paid about $50 duty or less. More frustrating thing is delivery man left a note on my door with French. I could guess, I have to pay $126 on online if I want to my package. I called CS let them explain about $126. The associate said it's just what UPS do. I said I only paid with Canada Post $50 or less (can't clearly remember but I'm sure it was around $30) I kept asking why I have to pay $126 for $376 order? He passed me to their accounting department, the answer was same. Every company are different that only the guy could say. I said but why I have to pay $126? So on. After my steam is down, I didn't want other headache rise so I decided to pay it. Went to their website as they said, Went through all the process but the blue bottom didn't work to pay. It already took many hours while it was nice day out on my day off to enjoy outdoor. They said delivery man can bring the machine.On the note, he will be come 10:30- 2:30and it was already 4:30 and their excuses was he was already came once. Which is not true. It's like what is this? You got me so you charge me huge amount money and then making mistake triple... Worst experience. I never going to deal with UPS again and I don't want purchase from who's using UPS. Every time, something like this happens and just ruin my day and took a lot of money from me like thief.

I send a package from Canada to USA, they package has not been deliver since the second attempt, I call ups and ask why? Reply was driver need the access code for the building. I ask, why is ups asking for Recipient phone number when o be on the package? Can you call the Recipient? Reply was recipient phone number is only for Incase the address is wrong. LOL

We pay for them to pick up our out going AMAZON inventory (MAJOR dollars). THEY NOW REFUSE TO SCAN OUR OUT GOING BOXES. This needs to be done for Insurance and PROOF of them taking possession of VERY EXPENSIVE items.

I have been here (UPS Store 791 HWY 77 N STE 501-C Waxahachie TX *******) a few times and the staff is usually nice… My only issue is they charge you to print the return labels. This wouldn't be a problem if they would either post a sign that says they charge you, or tell you before printing the label… The lady that was helping me never stated there would be a charge for printing the label… She gave me the a binder that had the email to send the label to and started helping other customers… I was waiting at the counter to see if she got the email, and another staff member asked if I had been helped… She had to tell the lady that was supposed to be helping me to check the email… At no point did anyone say there would be a charge for them printing the label… The lady printed the label and said my charge is $3.08. I was confused because I used a prepaid label… I had to ask what the $3.08 was for because she still never said… I asked the lady if there was a fee schedule stating the charge to print labels, and she said this store charges to print labels… I told her if she had told me that from the beginning I wouldn't have had the store to print the label. She proceeded to scan the label and stated she would tape it for me while I went to get the money… She never apologized or anything… I have been to several UPS locations and they don't charge… I used this location for convenience, but convenience isn't always best… It's not the amount, it's the principle…

On the SAME DAY, the SAME SHIPPER mailed a package USPS, and now UPS, that I PAID THE INCOMPETENT company $15 for, will be delivering the same day as the FREE USPS shipping. (Who are widely known as messing up on cue themselves.) UPS CAN'T EVEN DO BETTER THAN THE WORST! DO NOT GIVE THESE SCAM ARTISTS YOUR $$$!

The worst shipping company I have dealt with. Parcel delivered destroyed with things missing. UPS took no responsibility despite proofs. Demanding illegal brokerage fees paid before parcel delivery with threatening attitude. Billing department demanding credit card details without invoice being process. Extremally rude hardly any English speaking customer service. Other call services want to talk only about payments and bank details. Rude, unpleasant unhelpful, impolite, obnoxious people. KEEP AWAY if possible choose other services
I have stopped being a UPS convenience center due to the charges being incurred from UPS. My company is out in the middle of nowhere. 40 miles one way to the nearest UPS store. UPS has been charging us penalties of $250.00 to $300.00 a month. They said it is because we are not selling 5 packages a week. Yet the last week we were accepting packages we took in 49 drop off packages. My Quartey rebate was $73.00. Now they are still charging my Credit Card $107.00 for Aug so far. Even though we canceled services as of 7-31-24. They even have charged me a late fee. How do you incur a late fee when they have a credit card on file to run the payments? If they did not submit the payment on time, they have no right to charge me a late fee. The supervisor said they will not refund the late fee. I am very disappointed with UPS. Beware small business if the approach you to set up a convenience center. I would prefer to choose 0 Stars.
Rate a zero but that option is not available. The driver is a liar and never made any attempt to deliver My package. Never rung the bell I work from home, so there is no excuse. I was waiting for my package. Worst service I've ever seen. I see all the reviews are one star really sad

I am not a happy customer of the ups store but if you are getting death threats you need to contact the police. It is illegal in America to make death threats against anyone no matter their race, creed or color. That is the beauty of living in United States of America. You do not need to wait for a company to file charges against another human being who is threatening your life. You just need to take the appropriate, legal action against that person, good luck!
