We monitor reviews for authenticity
I booked a rental car for my trip through the Trip.com website. On two separate occasions, the system showed that a car was available, and I proceeded with the booking and payment. However, about a day later I was informed that the reservation had failed.
This caused significant inconvenience to my travel arrangements, as I had already planned my itinerary based on the confirmed booking. If a vehicle is not actually available, the system should indicate this immediately rather than confirming the booking and charging the customer first, only to cancel it later.
In my view, waiting for availability confirmation after charging the customer is not an ideal process and creates unnecessary uncertainty for travelers. Accurate real-time availability would greatly improve the customer experience.
Trip.com does a lot right, but the check in process is very different than major airlines, which is a bit confusing at times.

I was very happy with the service from Trip.com for my flight. Information regarding my flight was great, this included pre flight emails for the 3 flights on my itinerary.

The booking experience was fine. However, I removed the email address you sent this survey too, yet, you email me at this address. The only reason you have this address is because it auto-filled when I was considering booking, and did not process the transaction. You stole it. No permission given and I do not want you to email me at this address, ever. You obviously sell information. Awesome, really wants to make me use your services again :(

Notified that Frontier changed my flight and probably would not have enough time to make my flight to Greece. Now they say that I will have to pay a fee to Frontier for changing my flight that allows enough time to make my second flight.

The best customer service. It is so easy to call and immediately have somebody talk with you to resolve your problem. Travel deals abound on the site. Sometimes I could buy airlines tickets with cancellation benefits for a small extra fee. I could also book day trips for tourist attractions in China. This is very convenient and I highly recommend it.

I love this site, the excellent choice and prices, the trip coins are great value because you can apply them as money off, and keep earning, you don't just reach a level and that's it
The refund system is simple and fast
The bonus free lounge access passes are great
The only thing I don'tike is it doesn't seem to accept debit card as a hold pay later for hotels, so you do need pay ahead, however as mentioned the refunds are simple and fast,

Had to cancel a flight in order to rebook to an earlier flight.
Cancellation took around 15 minutes which enabled me to buy new ticket before
Price increased.

We booked a 6pm flight. Got to the airline we had been changed to the 3pm however no communication received from trip.com. Trip.com app still had us in for the wrong flight. Impossible to talk to a real person for help. We were out of pocket for a hotel. When trying to give feedback trip.com app just kept telling us there had been no change to our flight.

We travel multiple times a year and I would never use any other platform for flights. We have had cancellations, rebookings, change of flights - but trip.com has clear communication, lots of options and very informative. They have offered support many times. While finding flights is good, eveything else is frustrating. I can't find my frequent flyer information, it doesn't appear on my flight reservation. The wrong ID was used, and I can reach no one but a bot who goes round and round in circles. I couldn't get a hole of anyone in customer service just the same message over and over again then disconnect.

I booked with you in Egyptair from dammam and as per Egyptair cancelled their flight from dammam for the current pumps and war but you say Egyptair not allowing that, however Egypt air announced that before 15 March u have the the right to reschedule your ticket or even cancel it without any fee

Easy process with great options of times and cost of air fairs. Used at Xmas and done a package deals bundle. Looked at a few different sites, Trip.com came in with better prices with same options.

Answer: Do not book with them. If anything happens and you need to modify your booking they will not help you. They have canceled people's bookings at the last minute as well. This company is all about the money. Once they have your payment they are done with you. DO NOT book travel arrangements with them. Read the reviews and I'm speaking from experience. The price is good but if anything happens they will take your money and will not help you.
