Still waiting for them to call me and yet to hear back
We booked a Hotel through Travelup to Belize to do some diving... Dive operator call us 2 days out to inform us that they would be closed due to inclement weather... We went through the cancel protocol with travelup, and got an email confirmation that the reservation was cancelled... However, It started and stopped there... Still have yet to refund us our money, but gave us every excuse to why... From backedup orders, to Covid19... Please DO NOT USE THIS company!
Worst check experience in my life. The room has a view of trash. Check in takes for ever. Requested a high Floor and they gave me the 8th which is the third lower floor. No Microwave, No fridge. Pool for families is closed at 5pm but even if you do a check in after 5pm you still have to pay the resort fee. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to No one.
I have booked 3 Hotel Rooms in Turkey on TravelUp Site. After my booking it turned out that we are not able to stay in this Hotel. Reason is only UK/US citizens can book this hotel via this site. It was not mentioned in any stage during this booking and not written anything in Terms and Conditions. They charged full amount of money on my credit card. For 3 days i have been asking my full refund from the site but no reply!

Your website saved the day offering a space big enough to accommodate my family for a reasonable price. My first time and I will be a repeat customer.
I do not intend to waste anymore time with TravelUp.
I waited over 6 months for a refund after being tossed back and forth; I was still short payed.
Avoid with all cost. They keep you on hold for a long time and hang up on you. Very unprofessional and outright scam. I repeat; avoid at all cost.

Hello! I recently booked at the Rancho Bernardo Inn for your site. It clearly stated in the fine print below rates that the price was "inclusive of resort fees." After purchasing nice day, the fine print below the order confirmation set otherwise, i. E. that upon arrival we would need to pay a $29 resort fee. There is no phone number, and no obvious way to contact customer support. This was extremely disappointing as apparently purchases are nonrefundable. And if this is indeed correct, is very misleading. I'm not sure what else "inclusive resort fees" means other than the resort fee is included in the advertise price.

Reservations paid for but hotel doesn't recognize my booking reference number. Not happy at all. Good thing I verified before I traveled. I wont use travel up again!

Your booking is confirmed as we can see, our supplier keep the booking reservation in a central system which is passed on to the hotel. The hotel will have your reservation however it can take a up to a week for the reservation to confirm with the hotel as it is not direct from us to the hotel. This actually prevents overbookings and unavailability by having your booking on a central system which overall causes less problems for our customers

I make reservation. Paid. Got confirmation. 2 days later, got an email that the fare was withdrawn and I'll get a refund. I checked. The fare is still there. This company is not legit.

Very easy, my booking was confirmed a few hours after placement, included with the eTicket was a link to the airlines website where I was able to chooses my seats. Thank you
Pleasant experience. Friendly and knowledgeable customer service representatives.
Everything was good until I was asked to provide feedback as a way to confirm my reservation.
Charged an Admin fee and Charged a Cancellation Fee.
With Admin Fee, Travel Up worked out dearer than if I booked through the hotel alone. Hotel also had no cancellation fee.
On top of this when I cancelled booking they confirmed cancellation via email, then proceeded to withdraw full amount for the room. Fortunately after I called Travel Up money was put back into my account minus the cancelation Fee.
Would not recommend.

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, They ruined my vacation don't ever book with them even if they are the cheapest offer online as you will find your booking cancelled after you arrange everything but 2 or 3 days before your vacation booking date. I booked through their website in Canada as I found their offer is the best online. We are happy that we are going to spend good time in Hurghada, Egypt. I booked July5th and paid the requested deposit and the mentioned they would withdraw the remaining on Aug10th and will issue confirmation number and Hotel vouchers. In the hotel offer policy that the offer is only for Canadians and Americans, I booked as we are Canadians. August 14 just a week before our vacation they sent us that we cancelled your booking, WTF we already in the flight. I sent them email they said because you guys are Egyptians. I told them we are Canadian who told you that we are Egyptians, there should be a mistake here and you cancelled our booking before asking us to send you our Canadian passport copy. They said sorry this misunderstand from our side happened and we will refund you. I sent them email that I will send a complain to the ministry of tourism in Canada, USA and Egypt. I called the customer service to escalate the issue as this is from their side not mine and they should solve it and rebook. They said we are sorry that happen a lot, I book with Expedia, Booking, Agoda and never had such a situation. I called the resort and the sales manager mentioned that they have a big issue even in their room booking that room capacities are different than the actual Hotel policy so you will be screwed once arrive the hotels. I will sue them. The sales manager of the hotel understood the situation and was very helpful and rebook for me but sure more expensive.
The provider "TravelUp" does not seem to have timely support and the website fails to mention rate expections from some countries (without an option to refund if issues occur).

In these cases from where a customer books using USD rates but the hotel has different rate exceptions, if our team notice this on the booking it will be flagged up. We apologise this was not flagged up, however it does mention this in our terms and conditions in the hotel section.
It is quite a rare case and there does not appear to be an automatic feature set up on the website to flag this, however we have responded to our IT department for future use as it would be difficult to rely on human control when we have thousands of bookings coming in.
