I received an email stating that my card declined but my, but i called to confirm my booking.
Easy to process, but absolutely no help after the fact. Not a single phone number published worked. "I'm sorry, this call cannot be connected as it is not authorized. Emails immediately after booking did not recognize the booking number or the reservation number. The only method of communication that worked was email the next day. While I acknowledged my mistake, every travel site I have EVER used allows change within 24 hours. I tried to change reservations minutes after booking, but the site was cold. The following day, still within 24 hours, Travel Up offered flight changes for a $250 charge PER PERSON. The flights offered were available on their web site for $100 per person. I would never use this company or recommend it. A total scam.
The experience is pretty easy up until the payment part. I booked a hotel with you and I don't feel like after the deposit it gives very good instructions on where to go to pay the remaining when you are ready. I have been all over your website and I found in your FAQ that it says to go to the payment page, but I couldn't find a payment page ANYWHERE. It should be easier than that. Either update your FAQ or add the remaining payment instructions to the confirmation email.
I was hesitant to use this company simply because I had never heard of them, but they made everything easy and my travel plans went on without a hitch.
It was fast and easy and the price was right. It didn't take long to complete the booking.
I called 5 mins after my booking and was told to make a change it would cost me $70+. On snap travel, the price was $80 cheaper with free cancellation up to 3 days before arriving at the hotel. I would never book with you guys again.

Unfortunately it does cost us to make a change to your booking with our supplier so we do carry administration costs to make the change.
Our rates are usually the cheapest out there so we could be surprised to see a price $80 cheaper but it can happen.

I had a terrible experience I called the hotel and they said that my room was not paid for it in a hotel of already has taken out the money and I cannot find a decent phone number to cancel my reservations

I engaged TravelUp via a multi-cite venue. The price was quite enticing. Then I found out that the hotel stay needed to be paid a week before my arrival. This seemed quite fishy to me. I verified a room was reserved for me and assumed everything was being handled appropriately. In the end, everything was perfect. Their website was a bit out of kilter when I tried to pay, but ultimately all problems were resolved. Will I use them again? Yes... if the price is right.

Still stand by our review disgraceful behavior from Travel Up during the Covid crisis and only a rep to answer our comment! The answer is surely through the customer's pocket. No formal response from Travel Up about this and we will only be satisfied if a full refund is forthcoming as other travel firms have honorably done so. Read the positive reviews and will only say wonder what would your reactions be if you had had cancellations no e mail correspondence and no full and right refunds!

I called Travelup 5 min after I booked a reservation for an immediate cancelation before transaction went through and they charge me $406. Then the agent Danny Morrison hung up om me.
I will file a claim until i get my money back. But I will never use them again

I am always apprehensive about third-party online 'travel agents'. I got the reservations I needed; but what would be really reassuring would be to have the actual provider (airline, hotel) send a confirmation to the actual customer (me). If I show up and find I don't have a reservation, or it's incorrect, or there are hidden fees, or any other problem, then rest assured I'll be leaving a new review, and it won't be pretty.
Terrible experience. It said that it was a pet-friendly room when I booked. Then I found out from the hotel that it wasn't and TravelUp couldn't get it changed to a less expensive, dog-friendly room. And the hotel manager of the third-party bookings said they could have cancelled my reservation or changed rooms for free. They put a note on my file as well showing this. I would like a refund or for my room to be changed to the double queen room that allows dogs. We still have 8 days of free changes and free cancellation confirmed with the hotel.

At first I was skeptical about the transaction. I think communication between the agency and the customer should be clearer. The dates of the booking didn't matched at the beginning and taxes + fees wasn't and isn't clear to me yet. We called the hotel to ask if everything went through and to check if the booking appeared on their system. They were the ones who told us what really happens on TravelUp and the hotel's end.
Again, to this day, I am not sure of what I need to pay at check-in.
Worst Travel Agent ever, I was consistently on hold with multiple agents providing me with random names on requesting a refund for my flights that I booked months in advance where the country is has been moved to the Red List due to Covid Restrictions. Advised Customer Support that i was scared of traveling and would like a refund however they completely ignored my request and suggested i should chose a different date or country where i had to £200 more for flights. Very disappointed with there service and approach to venerable customer in this pandemic. Please guys do not book with Travelup and booked directly with the Airlines to avoid any disappointment.
