I will never use them again, and I will tell everyone I know to never use them. They said they had a room for me in a booked hotel. They never gave me a confirmation number from the hotel and told me to just fly down and if there is a problem to call them. Called the hotel three different times and they stated they are totally filled with Line Workers (New Orleans) and confirmed they DID NOT have any open rooms, especially a room with my name on it. I was not going to just fly down to a town where all the hotels in the town are filled already, WHITHOUT a confirmation number from the hotel. So, even though they could show me a confirmation number, they still kept half the money. Just BS.
Sketchy communication. Booked a flight and was charged twice and still have not received my e-ticket. Feel I have been scammed.

There was the fact that I was not made aware of Covid test before departure.
I was not in the system for transportation from the airport too the Resort I'm out of $300.00 because of neglecting to inform me of these travel codes! I can promise you that I'll never use this company ever again nor will I offer this company to any of my friends or family to use travelup!

Covid-19 tests before departure both to and from a country is not set by the agents. This is something all passengers are advised to check before travelling as this has changed so frequently. It is your responsibility to make sure you have your correct documents, insurance and tests before travelling.

This company is an absolute scam. I paid £150 for a flight which was cancelled 3 days before the due date. After nearly 6 weeks, I've received just £85 as a refund. I've tried to contact the customer service to ask my money back, but they didn't explain anything, just hang up the phone. I can read from their cancellation email that they charge £50 for the refund, but no explanation is given as to why they have stolen a further £15. Please stay away

Our terms and conditions state regarding £50 for administration to collect your money back from the airline which should take 6-8 weeks as stated.

There were clear instructions which made the process very easy
I was very disappointed. I logged onto Kayak, and saw that Travel Up had the best fare to Dublin. The Aer Lingus site said that it was a "Smart" fare, so that meant I could select a seat for free. But when I chose Travel Up, I got directed to the United site, and that turned out to be a "Basic Economy" fare, which means I couldn't choose a seat. I called Travel Up and talked with a person who was very hard to understand. He wouldn't let me change the order, so I had to call United directly and pay extra to choose a seat. I should never have gone through the Travel Up link, because it is misleading. I should have chosen United directly, and got what I needed for an honest price. I won't use Travel Up again.
There is no one here to help you. If you have any questions or problems you are Fcked.
This company will allow you to book and pay for rooms they cannot confirm, then the make it impossable to get ahold of anyone to discuss options, and make it even more difficult to get your money back once you realized this is a fraud. Sucks, I am out a lot of money because I trusted this company... if you ask them, that was my fault... this is BS.

I booked flight tickets to Istanbul in March 2020 and due to COVID the flights were cancelled.
Initially Travelup were good at sending communications out to clients and asked for patience due to high volumes of calls/emails etc. They also stated they were contacting everyone who had bookings (by travel date) and NOT to contact them if the travel date was between 18th March to 31st May, which my tickets were.
In May, they asked people to sign an online form to claim a voucher/refund for their bookings, which I did straight away. I even took it upon myself to reach out to the Airline themselves who confirmed to me the refund actually had already been paid back to the travel agent.
Since filling out that form, I have not received my refund and also have not heard anything from Travelup whatsoever. Checking my emails, I can see they went 'quiet' ever since August 2020, and stopped sending communications out to clients. Also, checking the online form again, I cannot even check the 'live status' of my refund.
This is totally unacceptable from a company who state that our funds 'are safe with them'. Avoid at all costs!

As explained by our agents to you numerous times, we have to wait for our supplier to get back to us regarding your refund as they are holding the funds with the hotel.
These processes can take a lengthy amount of time, especially if the supplier is being slow, mostly due to Covid-19.
