They charged me the same amount of agent fee as the cost of tcket from nyc to del. So I paid double the amount. They made it so scary that no tickes will not be available if I will not buy in half hour thing... crooks...
Travelopod screwed me big time. Please do not use Travelopod. We had a very bad experance using Travelopod.
I booked a roundtrip ticket for my wife and my 4 month old infant. I contacted them for change of ticket on their return journey. Every time I call, they say we will be transferring to corresponding department. Each time there will be a reson with out any solutions like Airline office is closed or there is huge call volume. We will get back to you. But no one will get back to you. So, if any one in a situation for changing their ticket for some reason, travelopd is worst and you book directly with the airlines even if its 200$ extra. I hate travelopd who is such a irresponsive to the customer. All full of liars. Dont ever trust them. It is my honest and sincere opinion expressed out of frustration.
They are just moneyminded... very non responsive to customer issues... very irresponsible staff.

Worst ever experience
- I got tickets booked through travelopod but too much effort involved
- "Aditi / Sahil / Parichay" - No one replying to my mails and hence I am not left with any option rather than sharing it here, hope they read now.
- They committed me ticket amount as 1060 and charged my card 1075 for one ticket, so 30$ extra charged for 2 tickets.
- They said I would get a refund within 5 days, but no refunds happened, when I followed up again I was told, refunds can not be processed on credit card to I need to provide them account details which I sent right away, a confirmation mail followed and stated refund in 48-72 hours.
- Nothing happened after that, I reached out to them many times over email, no replies
- Had chat with "Parichay", he said I will get a call with in 4 hours to confirm on status sadly no calls, now I have sent them mail again, dont have high hopes with the customer care, worst people i have interacted with...
I booked tickets with these guys for my wife and kid and they told that bassinet is free for kids. After finalizing everything airlines is asking for more money for seat to keep the bassinet. No one told me that there may be any extra charge. And they say we are not are of airlines rules. If you are so dumb and don't know about rules... you are in wrong business.
Don't ever use Travelopd, the agents are big lyres,,, they just know how to get the money out from customers, they don't care about any customer services... they will not help in solving any problem rather will blame on you or the airlines for your issue. I was traveling alone with an infant even then they didn't care to listen my problem or solve it..
Stay away. Stay away... My wife had booked a round trip ticket for $1500 with one check in bag free and she was told second bag shouldn't cost more than $100 but she ended up paying $2000 for the trip. She was charged twice for the second bag. The same thing repeated while coming back. I raised a concern with the customer service and provided with them payment receipts. I was told they will talk to the airlines and help get the money refunded but that didn't happen. Two months later my wife was told they(Travelopod) are not responsible for extra charges so the money wont be refunded. I don't understand how in the world your are not responsible for extra charges when you booked my ticket? You get no help but pay more if you run into any such problems. My sincere advise is stay away from Travelopod.com and have a better travel experience.

Answer: You should have confirmed with the agent first or you could see on your reservation list if they are flying on the same flight before you went to the airport

Answer: They are fake and do illegitimate things. Your data will be compromised and you will never get your flight confirmed for the price they tell you

Answer: Yes. Its better to go directly to Airlines rather than going through them.
Answer: Don't buy with them. They are very bad, If you have to change ur ticket, they charge u a fortune. For saving $50 with them we end up loosing a lot.
