Many users appreciate the variety and affordability of items, often highlighting the meticulous packaging and attention to detail. However, concerns arise regarding inconsistencies in item descriptions, delayed shipping, and customer service issues, particularly regarding returns and authenticity claims. I sold a brand new authentic Louis Vuitton Neverfull pochette that I had purchased on 7/29 with my Neverfull. I listed the pochette that same day and included pics from all views of the item as well as a picture of the receipt. The buyer's only complaint when she received the item was that I did not send her a receipt. I never said I would send a receipt or copy thereof. This is not a valid reason for return, but Tradesy let the buyer do so and get her money back even after I sent proof of condition with a video taken prior to me shipping the item. Tradesy could care less about sellers.
SCAM /SCAM / SCAM
This company is a scam, the items are FAKES and there is no return policy. Only a credit to their site. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
I purchased a LV bag and when I took it to the Louis Vuitton store to have it authenticated I was informed it was a counterfeit. Tradesy said they will not help me in any way and the bag is my problem now. They are so rude. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
I actually had a great experience, it definitely depends which store/closet you buy from. I got a gorgeous Louis *******@dmonti closet with very nice detailed images, descriptions and immediate service.
Just my experience... you may want to check yourself, I don't know about other people. But definitely going back
Oh the dreaded return box from tradsey... Once you open it you see nothing but the item you shipped before that was in new condition and now it's cracked, ripped, or dirty. I ask why doesn't tradsey get the sellers side of the story before they return the item? What do they make 15% commission for? So unprofessional a bunch of scammers. At least ebay hears both side of the story
Good god, where do I begin? How about from the beginning, 6-months ago when Tradsey.com sold me a fake Coach handbag for $150.00 and refused to refund my money, but sadly would only give me "site credit" where I could purchase more fake, overpriced, odorous, sloppy clothing.
It has taken me 6 months to finally spend my $150 site credit, only to be screwed and disappointed every time. The shipping for most items is $10.00! Today, after flipping through 600 items and wasting 3 hours of my time because the website is slower than $#*! and the search engine is from like 2001, I finally settle on a crappy Forever 21 overpriced tee-shirt, because I am exhausted, pissed-off and my eyes are swollen. Then to add insult to injury they charge me $10.00 shipping for a $3.00 shirt. Are you f*ck#g kidding me? Really? Then maybe 3 or 4 weeks later your order finally arrives in the mail. Everyone, please listen to me. Don't shop there! Don't even be tempted to shop there! You WILL regret it in some way, trust me! I've spent 6 months buying over-priced nasty clothing from this site and returning them over and over again. Save your time and money and go to Ebay, where you will be more satisfied and have purchase protection.
Never ever use this website. I included 12
Pics of my handbag and the specific measurements but the buyer of my bag decided she didn't like the size. Because of that, my funds have been "pending" by tradesy for weeks. They have my bag and my money and will not give me either of them. Their customer service is impossible to get in touch with and they are a total sham. I wish I had read reviews before I used this site. I will NEVER use this site again.
Horrible site bought a watch for 4500 that broke after 2 months the repair cost is 1500-2000 tradesy says sorry it's after the 3 days we can't help you reach out to the seller who states if I pay him he can fix wtf? Put a dispute through to my cc which I won now tradesy bans me from their site which I could care less just take the crap watch back and have a good one! The customer service reps are incompetent liars! FYI I was told by supervisor Sierra that should you have any balance in your tradesy Acct and the close your acct for any reason it's in their user agreement they keep the funds! What kind of stealing bull$#*! company is this?
I sold alot of items made a good profit and then I sell one item that I did
Not say was authentic and they close my account and not only that I can't buy from
Them when I did nothing wrong. Proceed with caution with this so called Team.
If you sell on here be prepared for them to always side with the buyer 100%. I clearly noted something in my description and was still forced to accept a return because the buyer did not read. Tradesy doesn't care, just like eBay did not care. This has happened several times. I'm closing my store of 100 plus items and selling through a consignment store. This place is a headache
I've been selling designer goods online for years and know my stuff. I always use plenty of pics and give accurate descriptions. I sold 2 items: a Tory Burch beach tote and a Michael Kors Santorini straw tote that were both in fair condition, with all flaws pictured, described, and priced accordingly. Both buyers chose to return the items as being "not as described" and of course, the idiots at Tradesy honored their complaints. I wasn't upset about the TB too much, but when they decided to return the MK, I went ballistic. I closed my account and sent them an email, telling them that no wonder everyone complains about them and the Purse Forum is full of complaints about the fakes they sell. I said a lot of things, but there was no way those items were not as described. There are far too many sites that treat you professionally before I will allow some 20-something who thinks she's cool because she lives in Cali and doesn't know her $#*! from a hole in the ground, to sell my items and also doesn't even know how to authenticate (which wasn't the issue). I'm almost 60 and I always tell my family I've earned the right to have no filter and Tradesy can slide into the Pacific; nobody will miss them.
I HAVE BEEN A NEW SELLER ON TRADESY FOR RECENT 2 MONTHS. PREVIOUSLY, I HAVE BEEN SELLING ON EBAY. I DECIDE TO WORK ON TRADESY TO TRY OUT THIS NEW PLATFORM. IT TURNS OUT THAT THEY ARE A HUGE THEF. I EARNED A LOT OF MONEY FOR THEM BECAUSE THEY TAKE 12% ON EVERY SALE I MADE. WHEN I WAS WITHDRAWING MY MONEY FROM THEIR SYSTEM, SUDDENLY, THEY SUSPEND MY ACCOUNT AND TAKE ALL MY MONEY (MORE THAN $1,500). THESE PEOPLE ARE STEALERS. THEY HAVE NO MORAL. THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY. TRADESY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES FOR STEALING THEIR PARTNERS MONEY.
Email me if you know how I can press charges
Address at bottom.
THIS IS AFTER THEY SENT ME AN EMAIL THAT I OWE THEM MONEY. I HAVE 7 PIECES OF DOCUMENTATION FROM THEM AND-MY BANK RECORDS THAT I RECEIVED NO MONEY FROM THEM AND THEY ARE HOLDING MY GREAT GRANDMA'S WEDDING SET. THEY HAVE BLOCKED MY PHONE NUMBER AND SUSPENDED ACCOUNT. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO PRESS CHARGES AGAINST THEM?
First, I am attaching 3 emails from Tradesy clearly stating that I have received ZERO funds from Tradesy. Also, attached is the bank statement from the account number (it is on the document) that the funds would have gone into.
Second, as you can see in tracking and return request this buyer requested return PRIOR to receiving the rings. I paid extra for signature at delivery and her return request and your email were 4 hours before she signed for them.
Finally, I have notarized, photographed appraisals of these rings. They were shipped as exactly as I described and advertised. What
Is my guarantee that a buyer that already lied about having the rings prior to receipts, and then had them for 4 days before receiving your packaging, has not alterered or replaced muly great grandmother's wedding rings?
I NEVER RECEIVED A DIME FROM YOU. I AM SENDING A SCREEN SHOT OF ALL OF MY TRANSACTIONS TO THE ACCOUNT THAT YOU NEVER DEPOSITED MONEY INTO.
Send tracking info for both of my rings or I am filing charges immediately.

After selling around 10 items on Tradesy successfully I though I finally found a great service to sell. I was very wrong.
I sold my last item and after 5 days (Trades's policy is 4), buyer returned. My already transferred seller-money was transferred to my account, but stopped by Tradesy with no warning, no emails no communication... absolutely no communication. My friend also sold a Chanel bag and it got returned as a fake (her buyer replaced her bag with a replica).
Be very very very careful as a seller. Please use eBay or a better service!
I paid for 3 items, the payment was made on Saturday and next day they cancelled my orders but the withdrawn the money from my credit card. When I asked them what happened they said that it is a fraud, they said that my bank cancelled my transaction. When my bank need my confirmation for a transaction they call or e-mail me, but this time I had no notification from the bank.
I wanted to confirm the payment to tradecy.com but they didn't want to listen to me. It seems they took my money and closed my account without any reason. I use this credit not only for online purchases but also for paying in stores.
How is it possible to wait 24 hours to withdraw the money from my account and then to cancel the items I paid for.
Who is that site Tradecy and what are they doing?
Tradesy is a joke and no seller or buyer should be using it. In fact, they should have a class action lawsuit brought against them for the dishonest way they do business. They won't prove what credentials their "so called experts" have and if a customer returns an item, they are not given cash back as stated, but site credit. If you are a seller on the site, they take your items and never pay you for them. There excuse is "website glitches". They refunded a customer twice for the same item more then once and I have never seen a penny back from either of these items. Customers switch out authentic items and return fakes and they get credit or cash back and the seller is left without any earnings or the actual product they sent. I have over 600 items for sale on the site but going to cancel due to the fact they can't even pay me $13.65 for an item that sold. Think they are having money problems and stealing is the only way they can keep operating.
I purchased some Christian Laboutin shoes from Tradesy for my wedding. When the shoes came in I attempted to try on what was listed as a size 10 shoe, and could not even put it on my foot. The shoe felt like I was trying on a size 7-8 shoe. So I put them back in the box and returned them the next day. Since there was only a few days left till my wedding I didn't have time to order something different. Of course Tradsy only gave me store credit and I feel like I wasted $680 of my hard earned money since there isn't anything else I want from the sites, and my purchase was for a special occasion. I emailed customer care and they told me that the seller listed the item accurately, and it is my responsiblity to know my size in a certain band. I feel like there should be something written about the shoe stating that they are not true to size. How can you know if you never tried it on? I just feel like the policy is very unfair to the buyer and is meant to keep you from ever getting your money back.
I had a terrible experience with this company, and if I had the time and energy I would do more than write bad reviews, because I am still mad. I was a VIP customer, in that I took my stuff in person and had them photo and list the items. They said that the final price is up to us to decide. Within one day they sold my items for almost nothing, and there was NOTHING I could do about it. They gave me 10% of an item I wanted (tom ford glasses), so I saved $10 after losing a few hundred. I complained, and the owner actually had the audacity to just accept it because they gave me "Such a good deal" on a purse I bought earlier.
I have bought two things from this website and although for the first dress I had a good experience given that there were no misrepresentations from listing vs the product/item received, it was my second purchase that was the huge eye opener that showed me just how much of a scam this website is. Not only did they arbitrarily "decide" to not give me my money back for a product which had a CLEARLY misrepresented size, now they are taking FOREVER to send me my item back. It has already been 2 weeks (way past the normal 5-7 business days that mail usually takes). Terrible! So untrustworthy!
God forbid you purchase an item that is not delivered as expected from the listing because they will NOT give you your money back. Tradesy claims that they will refund money according to "certain guidelines" but these guidelines are subjectively determined within their own company and disregard ANYTHING that try to show as support (I sent them pictures of dress and order confirmation that clearly showed a difference from the listing to product received). Then, you are left with only two options: getting site credit or sending you the item back. So here I am 2 weeks and 4 days later still waiting for my item to get back.
Lastly, customer service was SHADY to say the least. They took weeks to respond to my emails! It has been one of the most frustrating online shopping experiences of my life. This has been an ongoing headache since MAY! To make things even worse, Melissa, the girl I corresponded with through their *******@tradesy.com email was very rude and never even acknowledged any of the proof I sent her from pictures I took of the dress and my order confirmation email that CLEARLY proved there was a size misrepresentation. SHADY SHADY SHADY.
If you are willing to gamble with your money then shopping here is fine, but don't expect to get refunds or money back if an item does not arrive the way it was supposed to.
Me and my sister, we both got two same boy Chanel from our uncle as birthday gift. Didn't like it because I prefer medium size, so I recently sold mine on Tradesy( shipped and delivered to the buyer already), after I sold it my sister wanted to sell hers too,
So, we post it on tradesy. After a couple days, I couldn't login to my tradesy account at all, while I still have about $2400 that I earn from selling my Chanel bag on tradesy account.
I contact them, but they only reply me with:
Nikki (Tradesy)

Hello,
Due to a concern of authenticity of the items you have listed we have closed your account and will not be restored.
After this email, they never reply me again!
So, I just send a buyer a Chanel bag through Tradesy for nothing? This is ridiculous! They take away my money just like they have the right. Thank god my sister haven't ship her bag yet. Who would ever give someone a Chanel bag for free?
Answer: Don't Do It! It takes at least 10 days to get paid. They prefer people that they can control. When you become successful, they will make upp a reason to suspend your account. TRADESY sell fakes, the owner is the closet owner of PENNY LANE It has been proven time and time again she sells Fakes. If you question TRADESY, they will shut your account down, and they do so WITHOUT even talking to you. Bunch of Bullies! Find an alternative. I AM IN THE MIST OF COMMENCING CLASS SUIT ACTION. THEY NEED TO BE TAUGHT A LESSON!
Answer: They advertise a strict selling policy of authentic and accurate descriptions for listing. If by chance an item received is questionable, they have a review process to protect the buyer unlike many other sites out there.
Answer: It says that everything is guaranteed authentic but you have to know your stuff to know if it is authentic. Tradesy people don't see the items unless it is sold and the buyer complains about authenticity. So if you put your trust on tradesy, you are 100% WRONG and will get scammed.
Answer: Yep. Tradesy are infamous for holding your money! They will also refund a sale without any communication with the seller, they don't even tell you why. Tradesy hooked up with Authenticate First, these people don't know what they are doing. Well the messed up big time with my bag, see it was authenticated by a very reputable company. I have ALL my bags authenticated BEFORE I list for sale and of course have the documentation to prove it. The bag was in perfect shape. Tradesy are ignorant, unprofessional and teamed up with a company (authenticate first) who have their heads where the sun don't shine. Tradesy are totally so unprofessional they have not bothered to send me an email even notifying me of the refund, I only found out when I checked on the sales delivery date to find a little sentence that says "refunded". No explanation why, nor when I can expect my property back. Punks! I am still waiting to receive my bag back. I have read on other sites that Tradesy keep the returns and seller is SOL. One seller was screwed out of 2,500 and never received her property back. Tradesy are shady. Another seller has started a class uit action. It's about time Tradesy were taught a lesson and realized that they have no right to keep sellers property. Apparently they resell the items on another site. The person who started the class usit actin has proof of same. Ironically, although some were refunded allegedly for item being fake, they resell and state that it is authentic. I have removed all my items from this shady scam company. I hope the class suit action closes this scam company down!
Answer: Don't ever do business with Tradesy ever! Learned my lesson. Bought a Chanel bag that doesn't look like anything they showed. I took some pictures of what I received vs. what they showed on their listing. They still ignorantly argued that those are the same item. They refused to refund me back the money. I finally disputed it with the credit card company. Tradesy almost ripped me off of my $1,600
Answer: I do not shop with tradesy any longer. FAKE prada duffle bag and im done.
Answer: Eileen: There is not a feedback option on Tradesy as there is with ebay and Threadflip. If I were you, I'd contact Tradesy immediately. While the seller may have purchased a bunch of bags to resell, that would definitely make me nervous. How many days has it been since you purchased the handbag? The number of days that the seller has to confirm the sale may have elapsed so you'd be in the clear. We only have so many days to confirm that we will have the item will ship in a timely manner.
Answer: I would highly recommend you look at RealReal or even ebay as I have sold over 100 items on both and although there is occasionally that one off glitch, they do protect the seller and are very fair from a buyer perspective as well. Do not use Tradesy... everything negative you read in reviews is true unfortunately. I did finally get my money back from tradesy as a seller, but I threatened them to no end and actually emailed the CEO... RUN from this site... save yourself the craziness of poor business practices. Best of luck to you!
Answer: I just had a worst experience with customer service also. I bought a chanel bag over $3K and the condition of the bag received was not the same as what was listed. The authentication card was also missing and there was no dust bag as listed. When I tried to complain & return the item, Blair said that the bag left the headquarters in perfect condition. How did the two big black marks were there within 5 second I got it if it left the headquarter in perfect condition. Instead of trying to solve the issue with the seller about the auth card, she said I could re-list the item to recoup the fund? There was no sign that the item was on final sale. If I knew there were no authentication card and the item was on final sale, I would not spend over $3K for the bag. It was the worst experience of customer service they've had. Lesson learnt and I will not do any business with this site anymore. I will write to BBB and I hope people will do the same.
