Tradesy generally enjoys a positive reputation among customers, particularly for its user-friendly platform, quality product offerings, and effective communication throughout the buying process. Many users appreciate the variety and affordability of items, often highlighting the meticulous packaging and attention to detail. However, concerns arise regarding inconsistencies in item descriptions, delayed shipping, and customer service issues, particularly regarding returns and authenticity claims. While the majority of experiences are favorable, a segment of customers expresses dissatisfaction with the handling of disputes and the accuracy of listings, indicating a need for improved oversight and support.

We monitor reviews for authenticity
I have yet to have a bad experience with this site. I have sold three items over the course of about five months. I have always been paid on time and have never had a problem.
Out of all of the "consignment" type sites out right now, Tradesy is my personal favorite for buying and selling.
I've been selling a little less than month and have had nothing but positive, seamless transactions. I've sold over a thousand dollars worth of merchandise in 3 weeks. Payouts are always on time, buyers are fabulous. Since I haven't had a reason to contact customer service, I can't comment but I can't imagine they are anything less than great.
I haven't done alot of buying yet because of bad experiences on other sites but took the leap and just purchase a Tory bracelet. I have a good feeling and can't wait to receive.
Best part, authenticity is guaranteed.
The site is extremely user friendly and often have generous sales. I give this site an A+
I sell and buy from many different platforms and thus far, Tradesy is the "bomb" :)
The absolute biggest waste of time and money. Professional liars amateurs acting as professionals and a voice of fashion. My experience from buy side and sell side has been a nightmare. Seems the owner and her very inexperienced staff who likes to self promote is letting the money of U2s wife get the best of them. The worst attitudes I've met in the business. I've sold my goods all over the place and other than Fashiophile and Realreal, ebay is always the most reliable. Shop hers is composed of a bunch of brats who are not educated and have no idea how to run a business and say thank you. Grow up children and learn how to run a business before you buy your "press." WARNING!
BUYERS BEWARE OF THIS WEBSITE... THEY DO SHADDY BUSINESS! They claim they have all these experts to check for authenticity but whoever they having checking for authenticity, they have no clue of what they are doing. Everyone knows that all LV EPI style has a LV symbol at the bottom corner of the purses and when I purchased a purse, I received it And I knew right off the bat that it was fake just by looking at the fact that the bag was plastic and nowhere on the bag was the LV symbol. MIT you correspond with the, and they tell you they'll give you a percentage off or an amount off an item because of a mistake or something they will NOT stand by their word, they will make up very excuse and tell you you didn't understand their email that clearly states the discount that they promised you.
I purchased a necklace from this website. It is not 'in stock' the company has many co-signers that keep the merchandise and mail it to their address once the item sells. Within 24 hours I had to cancel the order. I was told I would be charged the restocking fee - they had not recieved the item in there store from the seller yet! After 10 emails to their customer service person -- they hid behind email and do not have or offer a phone number to call I was told my situation would not be charged the restocking fee. They DO not have a cancellation policy on the website but a return policy that mentions the re-stocking fee. This is a very shady website. The emails were very accusitory - ' you made a concious decision when you clicked the purchase button' REALLY? I am a customer paying you money and they is the response I get to an email? You are better off to shop somewhere else!
Just finding my way around this new designer website!
Best thing about it?
All items 'guaranteed authentic' or your money back!
Yippee, how can you go wrong w that?
Very cool items too!
Very awesome website- similar to ebay but used wedding material!
You can search by typing in an item, by color, by price, or by date listed. This website can use paypal (or you can type in your cc number).
I personally have not bought anything from this website, so I can't give reviews about shipping or anything. Which brings me to the only downfall I had- the reason being that the items I was searching for was not on there.
But hey- recycled and inexpensive wedding stuff? Heck yes!
Answer: Don't Do It! It takes at least 10 days to get paid. They prefer people that they can control. When you become successful, they will make upp a reason to suspend your account. TRADESY sell fakes, the owner is the closet owner of PENNY LANE It has been proven time and time again she sells Fakes. If you question TRADESY, they will shut your account down, and they do so WITHOUT even talking to you. Bunch of Bullies! Find an alternative. I AM IN THE MIST OF COMMENCING CLASS SUIT ACTION. THEY NEED TO BE TAUGHT A LESSON!
Answer: They advertise a strict selling policy of authentic and accurate descriptions for listing. If by chance an item received is questionable, they have a review process to protect the buyer unlike many other sites out there.
Answer: It says that everything is guaranteed authentic but you have to know your stuff to know if it is authentic. Tradesy people don't see the items unless it is sold and the buyer complains about authenticity. So if you put your trust on tradesy, you are 100% WRONG and will get scammed.
Answer: Yep. Tradesy are infamous for holding your money! They will also refund a sale without any communication with the seller, they don't even tell you why. Tradesy hooked up with Authenticate First, these people don't know what they are doing. Well the messed up big time with my bag, see it was authenticated by a very reputable company. I have ALL my bags authenticated BEFORE I list for sale and of course have the documentation to prove it. The bag was in perfect shape. Tradesy are ignorant, unprofessional and teamed up with a company (authenticate first) who have their heads where the sun don't shine. Tradesy are totally so unprofessional they have not bothered to send me an email even notifying me of the refund, I only found out when I checked on the sales delivery date to find a little sentence that says "refunded". No explanation why, nor when I can expect my property back. Punks! I am still waiting to receive my bag back. I have read on other sites that Tradesy keep the returns and seller is SOL. One seller was screwed out of 2,500 and never received her property back. Tradesy are shady. Another seller has started a class uit action. It's about time Tradesy were taught a lesson and realized that they have no right to keep sellers property. Apparently they resell the items on another site. The person who started the class usit actin has proof of same. Ironically, although some were refunded allegedly for item being fake, they resell and state that it is authentic. I have removed all my items from this shady scam company. I hope the class suit action closes this scam company down!
Answer: Don't ever do business with Tradesy ever! Learned my lesson. Bought a Chanel bag that doesn't look like anything they showed. I took some pictures of what I received vs. what they showed on their listing. They still ignorantly argued that those are the same item. They refused to refund me back the money. I finally disputed it with the credit card company. Tradesy almost ripped me off of my $1,600
Answer: I do not shop with tradesy any longer. FAKE prada duffle bag and im done.
Answer: Eileen: There is not a feedback option on Tradesy as there is with ebay and Threadflip. If I were you, I'd contact Tradesy immediately. While the seller may have purchased a bunch of bags to resell, that would definitely make me nervous. How many days has it been since you purchased the handbag? The number of days that the seller has to confirm the sale may have elapsed so you'd be in the clear. We only have so many days to confirm that we will have the item will ship in a timely manner.
Answer: I would highly recommend you look at RealReal or even ebay as I have sold over 100 items on both and although there is occasionally that one off glitch, they do protect the seller and are very fair from a buyer perspective as well. Do not use Tradesy... everything negative you read in reviews is true unfortunately. I did finally get my money back from tradesy as a seller, but I threatened them to no end and actually emailed the CEO... RUN from this site... save yourself the craziness of poor business practices. Best of luck to you!
Answer: I just had a worst experience with customer service also. I bought a chanel bag over $3K and the condition of the bag received was not the same as what was listed. The authentication card was also missing and there was no dust bag as listed. When I tried to complain & return the item, Blair said that the bag left the headquarters in perfect condition. How did the two big black marks were there within 5 second I got it if it left the headquarter in perfect condition. Instead of trying to solve the issue with the seller about the auth card, she said I could re-list the item to recoup the fund? There was no sign that the item was on final sale. If I knew there were no authentication card and the item was on final sale, I would not spend over $3K for the bag. It was the worst experience of customer service they've had. Lesson learnt and I will not do any business with this site anymore. I will write to BBB and I hope people will do the same.

We truly apologize for the confusion. Shop Hers is a marketplace, composed of individual sellers and buyers. As such, the listings from private sellers are not in-house with us (just like they would not be on eBay). However, among the many benefits with our platform, the sellers will need to ship their items to us for inspection first, after which we will ship the item out to the buyer if all is well. We protect both sides of the transaction. Regarding the specifics of this order cancellation, please contact Dana in customer service and she will resolve any concerns you may have. Thank you for giving us a try!
