Many users appreciate the variety and affordability of items, often highlighting the meticulous packaging and attention to detail. I own a profitable luxury designer bag reselling business and have been a seller on Shop Hers for about 7 months. I have had such a great experience. The app and website are very easy to use and upload your items. Items practically sell themselves. Super easy process! Ship your items to shop hers, they authenticate for the buyer, then ship. Makes my life easy, they handle any issues the customer has, which saves me time.
I absolutely love Shop Hers. I've ordered from their site on 5+ occasions and have been completely satisfied each and every time. The products are authentic and you can't beat the prices! I'm hesitant to tell other people about the site because I want to keep all the good deals to myself :)
I purchased Louis Vuitton bag. But that is very different expect
I think That is definitely fake ( looks like very cheap)
So I tried that return. However they didn't accept to my asking that's why that item is final sale
This site really really no good
I Will never get buy anything after!
I purchased a chanel necklace from SHOPHERS which came in broken and FAKE. When I tried to rectify the situation I only got more discouraged. NO ONE WOULD CALL ME BACK and all of my questions in my emails were ignored. I would NEVER use this site again bc the customer is always at a loss when CAMILLE(Customer service) refuses call back or just plain ignore everything. It was so incredibly frustrating bc I had already paid, so they had my money. DONT USE THIS SITE... unless your money grows on trees!
Like other ppl says, I think ill stick to Yoogis and Bag Borrow Steal or even Ebay,
Because the costomer service staffs are horrible to handle the situation. They have lost some items we sent as a seller, and there is a lot more issues about the customer services.
Only CEO jaclyinne is someone you can talk to. ( she is very understandable person)
I had a Chanel Flap Bag that I inherited and no use for. It was vintage yet in pristine condition - always stored with tissue paper and in the dust bag. I listed it on Shop Hers and it sold very quickly. I shipped it to Shop Hers who on the same day they received it - accepted it as authentic. I received my payment as promised within 5-7 days. They do take a larger percentage than E-Bay but I also sold it for much more than I would have on E-Bay. Everything went as promised!
I ordered a bag last week then happened to see the same bag in a store... was not as impressed as I thought I'd be, so I canceled the order before it shipped. Tradesy told me to contact the seller directly, so I did. The seller said she'd cancel and I should contact Tradesy for my refund (I had already been charged). I waited a few days then contacted Tradesy for my refund as instructed, and they told me the sale had not been canceled and I would need to contact the seller. I am not a ping pong ball and would love if Tradesy and their sellers could get on the same page. Until that happens, I'm out a couple hundred dollars. The business model doesn't seem to work... too many cooks in the kitchen and this customer is incredibly frustrated.
I heard the founder talk about everything being authentic but it doesn't take long to realize that Tradesy does not authenticate. You buy an item on the website and only if you question authenticity and return it will Tradesy get involved. So if you aren't knowledgeable about the brand, you have a risk of getting burned. Worse, if you send Tradesy back something that you say is not authentic and they say it is, they will not give a cash refund. Ebay's buyer protection plan is so much better but it's the same problem about authenticity. YOU CAN BUY ON THESE SITES IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE PRODUCT ENOUGH TO KNOW AUTHENTICITY
Hello Tyler,
Thank you for your review. I greatly apologize for any negative experience you may have had on Tradesy. We have a team of authenticators who closely review all photos of items posted on Tradesy. In the event that they are unable to confirm authenticity of the item that way, the item will be removed and they will reach out to the seller of the item in order to request additional information/photos of the item. Tradesy also offers the customer the option to send the item they receive into the team of authenticators at no cost to the customer. If the authenticators are not 100% certain of their determination, they will reach out to Authenticate First for a second opinion before making a determination. They want to be certain before making any sort of determination, as an item being inauthentic will result in the seller of the item being removed from Tradesy entirely. I highly encourage you to reach out to our returns/authentication team directly if you have any additional questions regarding this process:

I hope this helps. If there's anything else we can help you with please let us know.
They claim to be the only exclusive online retailer of used and new luxury items which should have alerted me to their dishonest business practices and claims. There are hundreds of online sites that deliver these used and new good such as Real Real, Tradsey etc.; I purchased a number of items and they would not ship them at the price that I purchased them for. They called and said there was an issue between them and the seller and the orders were cancelled. This was not an authentication issue but an error by Shop Hers. How can a company NOT back there online price?
I purchased a jacket from tradesy received it in a timely manner but it was dirty stained and smelled. The seller listed the jacket as looks brand new no signs of visible wear.
I returned the jacket the next day and I am just waiting for the team to inspect the jacket to see if a refund is applicable. I don't know how long it takes to inspect a jacket with clearly visible stains. I emailed them and they are glad to give me credit right away. I don't want credit I want my money back!
I signed on with Tradesy after the founder did a segment on the CBS morning show. As soon as I registered I received a discount coupon to purchase on the site - driving sales - that's good. However they advertise they want all brands but they only promote the couture stuff. Banana Republic, Zara, H&M, J Crew, Ann Taylor, Etc go elsewhere. I'm removing all my stuff!
I have been buying items from Shop-Hers since last year. I live in Australia and all my items arrive quickly, beautifully presented. I could not be happier with the service. The online sales assistant provided valuable information and support every time I needed it. I will definitely will be using their service and can truly recommend it to everyone.
I have sold and purchased on shop-hers. During both processes, it was a very smooth process and customer service promptly answered all questions I had. However, the second I tried to make a return, it was the complete opposite. I couldn't get a peep out of customer service. I sent several emails inquiring about my return that went unanswered for days. I'd have to catch them on the live chat just to get a response. This is an issue because they have a very strict and time sensitive return process. When I complained to them about my experience, it went unacknowledged. No one reached out to apologize for my experience or provide any type of explanation. Bottom line sell if you want, but only buy if you plan on not returning.
Tradesy is the best thing that has ever happened to the online fashion world. "Your closet is a goldmine", nothing truer was ever said. I have been selling on Tradesy and have had over 100 sales, with NO PROBLEMS AT ALL, one return out of 105, and that was TOTALLY MY FAULT, as I was not that familiar with the product. Tradesy even returned the item to me, ON THEIR DIME, which was impressive in itself, the way they care about their buyers and sellers. The only problem I have ever had is with USPS not scanning packages, but Tradesy always makes it right. The customer service reps are second to none, never once called without a problem immediately solved.
I can not thank Tradesy enough for offering to allow me to sell my many closets, and my 3 girl's 17-25. And I have not even made a dent in all the closets. YES, I LOVE IT SO MUCH, I WANT TO TELL THE ENTIRE WORLD. By the way, I very rarely write reviews or post on forums, not even on Facebook. Just saw some of these outrageous reviews, and had to comment. Anyone wanting to contact me about Tradesy and my experiences feel free to, as I have nothing but praise for them. Vicki Paar
I love the items I receive from shop hers however the delivery time has to improve. I will be more apt to use other sites like Tradesy and Yoogis closet just for that reason. Most sites don't debit your card until the item has shipped, however, I have purchased items as much as $1200 from shop hers, in which, my credit card is debited immediately and for up to 2-3 weeks there is no sign of the item being shipped. That's bad business. Not happy with that at all.
I just started selling on Tradesy.com a few weeks ago. My first sale was a pair of boots. I had selected to ship with the printable label, but what I didn't realize was that the size of the package is pre-determined. You can't just ship using any box and slap their label on it. It's a priority mail label (and you can't use a flat rate box). The post office clerk took pity on me and accepted the package but made me promise not to do it again. The second item I sold was a pair of shoes and I had selected the free Tradesy shipping kit (which, from what is promised on the website, includes a box and tissue paper and "beautiful packaging"). I waited 5 days for the kit to arrive. When it did, finally, it was a plastic polymailer with a label on it. No box. How was I going to put a pair of shoes in that? When I contacted customer service, they said they don't provide boxes. When I asked why the website says they provide boxes if they really don't, they never answered me. I was later instructed to pay the shipping cost myself, using my own materials, and they promised to reimburse me. I did get an email after the package was accepted at the post office giving me the steps for reimbursement, so I'm hopeful that this will actually happen. My advice is not to ship anything that won't fit into a polymailer.
So my 5 year wedding anniversary just recently passed and I was struggling to find something great for my wife. A friend told me about Shop Hers and the amazing products they have at a discounted rate, so I figured I would check it out. Not knowing much about the fashion industry and what I was getting into I was a little worried, but the person running the sales chat was extremely helpful! They walked me through the process and even gave me some ideas on what to buy for my wife based on some of the things I told them she liked. I then was introduced to Meredith who helped me through the entire ordering process and kept me updated each step of the way.
They really do make the process very simple and easy, while making you feel comfortable with your purchase. I ended up buying my wife a new bag and she loves it! The only down side is that I ended up telling her I bought it on Shop Hers... and now she's always buying stuff on the site!
I definitely would recommend this place to anyone (male or female) looking to buy an awesome product at a great price.
I AM DEALING WITH A CUSTOMER REP NAMED BLAIR.
I SOLD A REAL TIFFANY BRACELET TO A SELLER.
SHOP-HER EMAILED ME SAYING ITS INAUTHENTIC OK, NO PROBLEM SEND IT BACK.
I SENT THEM A PRE-PAID SHIPPING PACKAGE & THERE TELLING ME OH! THE MAN GUY FORGOT TO TAKE IT.
MAN LOOK I DON'T SELL FAKE STUFF! MIND YOU I SELL ON POSH, EBAY & TRADESY, ETSY.
NEVER HAD A PROBLEM.
SO THEY BETTER SEND ME MY REAL BRACELET.
MIND YOU I HAVE AN OFFER ON THERE SITE NOW FOR ANOTHER BRACELET.
LOOK IM NOT DOING BUISNESS WITH THEM ANYMORE.
"I DON'T TRUST THEIR CREDITABILITY"
I WILL BE CONTACTING A LAWYER IF I DON'T GET MY STUFF.
I listed two items and the promise is they will clean up your photo within 24 hours. One was, the other was not and after two inquires and two weeks I removed both items. The excuse was they use a third party and it won't affect your sale anyway and "tell your friends." So, friends, they don't honor their promises. They don't care or resolve concerns.
I have tried to purchase two items from Tradesy and have had very good, prompt, effective customer service. In the first situation, the dress was not as posted by the seller, but Tradesy agreed and refunded my money. In the second situation, the seller did not confirm the purchase in the 5 days set by Tradesy. I called on day 4 to customer service to inquire on the shipment. The customer service representative stated he would send a separate email to the seller to have them confirm the sale. The seller did not confirm the sale and Tradesy, true to their policy, released my money back to my card. Although I have not been able to buy any items through Tradesy YET, I am pleased with their customer service and consistency. Tradesy is a place sellers and buyers can come together to purchase. Tradesy can't be responsible if the seller misrepresents the product or does not confirm a sale. But in each situation, Tradesy provided very good customer service and refunded my money.
Answer: Don't Do It! It takes at least 10 days to get paid. They prefer people that they can control. When you become successful, they will make upp a reason to suspend your account. TRADESY sell fakes, the owner is the closet owner of PENNY LANE It has been proven time and time again she sells Fakes. If you question TRADESY, they will shut your account down, and they do so WITHOUT even talking to you. Bunch of Bullies! Find an alternative. I AM IN THE MIST OF COMMENCING CLASS SUIT ACTION. THEY NEED TO BE TAUGHT A LESSON!
Answer: They advertise a strict selling policy of authentic and accurate descriptions for listing. If by chance an item received is questionable, they have a review process to protect the buyer unlike many other sites out there.
Answer: It says that everything is guaranteed authentic but you have to know your stuff to know if it is authentic. Tradesy people don't see the items unless it is sold and the buyer complains about authenticity. So if you put your trust on tradesy, you are 100% WRONG and will get scammed.
Answer: Yep. Tradesy are infamous for holding your money! They will also refund a sale without any communication with the seller, they don't even tell you why. Tradesy hooked up with Authenticate First, these people don't know what they are doing. Well the messed up big time with my bag, see it was authenticated by a very reputable company. I have ALL my bags authenticated BEFORE I list for sale and of course have the documentation to prove it. The bag was in perfect shape. Tradesy are ignorant, unprofessional and teamed up with a company (authenticate first) who have their heads where the sun don't shine. Tradesy are totally so unprofessional they have not bothered to send me an email even notifying me of the refund, I only found out when I checked on the sales delivery date to find a little sentence that says "refunded". No explanation why, nor when I can expect my property back. Punks! I am still waiting to receive my bag back. I have read on other sites that Tradesy keep the returns and seller is SOL. One seller was screwed out of 2,500 and never received her property back. Tradesy are shady. Another seller has started a class uit action. It's about time Tradesy were taught a lesson and realized that they have no right to keep sellers property. Apparently they resell the items on another site. The person who started the class usit actin has proof of same. Ironically, although some were refunded allegedly for item being fake, they resell and state that it is authentic. I have removed all my items from this shady scam company. I hope the class suit action closes this scam company down!
Answer: Don't ever do business with Tradesy ever! Learned my lesson. Bought a Chanel bag that doesn't look like anything they showed. I took some pictures of what I received vs. what they showed on their listing. They still ignorantly argued that those are the same item. They refused to refund me back the money. I finally disputed it with the credit card company. Tradesy almost ripped me off of my $1,600
Answer: I do not shop with tradesy any longer. FAKE prada duffle bag and im done.
Answer: Eileen: There is not a feedback option on Tradesy as there is with ebay and Threadflip. If I were you, I'd contact Tradesy immediately. While the seller may have purchased a bunch of bags to resell, that would definitely make me nervous. How many days has it been since you purchased the handbag? The number of days that the seller has to confirm the sale may have elapsed so you'd be in the clear. We only have so many days to confirm that we will have the item will ship in a timely manner.
Answer: I would highly recommend you look at RealReal or even ebay as I have sold over 100 items on both and although there is occasionally that one off glitch, they do protect the seller and are very fair from a buyer perspective as well. Do not use Tradesy... everything negative you read in reviews is true unfortunately. I did finally get my money back from tradesy as a seller, but I threatened them to no end and actually emailed the CEO... RUN from this site... save yourself the craziness of poor business practices. Best of luck to you!
Answer: I just had a worst experience with customer service also. I bought a chanel bag over $3K and the condition of the bag received was not the same as what was listed. The authentication card was also missing and there was no dust bag as listed. When I tried to complain & return the item, Blair said that the bag left the headquarters in perfect condition. How did the two big black marks were there within 5 second I got it if it left the headquarter in perfect condition. Instead of trying to solve the issue with the seller about the auth card, she said I could re-list the item to recoup the fund? There was no sign that the item was on final sale. If I knew there were no authentication card and the item was on final sale, I would not spend over $3K for the bag. It was the worst experience of customer service they've had. Lesson learnt and I will not do any business with this site anymore. I will write to BBB and I hope people will do the same.

Hello Jennie,
I apologize for the negative experience you had while on Tradesy. When an order is confirmed by the seller, Tradesy gives the seller 10 days from the date of purchase to update the buyer with a shipping update. In the event that the seller does not cancel this order, and it's still within this 10 day time frame, Tradesy is unable to process the order cancellation. I greatly apologize for the confusion and inconvenience. If there's anything else we can help you with please let us know. Please contact us at 310.912.7966 Monday-Friday 8:00am- 4:00pm PST. Saturday- Sunday 8:00am- 2:00pm PST or via email at [email protected].
