I now buy most of my clothing from shop-hers.com which is a fantastic recycled luxury website. I was never into online shopping but now I'm gradually replacing everything in my wardrobe with really nice labels that I have never previously been able to afford - and which have either been sitting in someone's wardrobe with tags but never worn, or have only been worn a couple of times and is like new. I don't get stung with shipping for every purchase as you have free shipping up until the end of the following month if you spend US$250. This has saved me so much money as I live in Sydney and this website is based in Santa Monica. The website has the best layout too and is extremely easy to navigate. They also have the "make an offer" functionality which means you can negotiate the price with the online sellers. I have checked out other luxury recycled websites but they don't even compare. I am addicted to shopping on this website and I don't bother going to the high street shops anymore! Highly recommend it!

I am a REAL Person! I am NOT Fake! :) I have sold about 25 items and purchased 5.2 of my purchases were Chanel. YES 100% Authentic! Delivery was quick also! I also sell on 2 other sites. They are fun, take time and sells are slower. I remain on all 3 (and have a fulltime professional job, a CFO of a LLC) SHOP Hers is my favorite!

This is like Vaunte, Shop-Hers, and Ebay and it just doesn't work, for me at least. Buying recycled stuff online is just so risky. I bought a few things on the site and nothing was ever as good as the seller described it; there is almost always some smell, some stain or some abuse. And, two fakes. Tradesy takes returns but they really prefer to give credit and not a refund, so it takes forever to get out because you have to use the credit. Their customer service which used to be pretty good has gone downhill.

To me, signing on to this site means a whole lot more emails on stuff that either isn't what it is supposed to be or isn't even on the site.

Ripoff
February 24, 2015

I purchased a supposedly authentic maggie sottero wedding dress from pennylane, tradesy secret closet, the dress is a very poor copycat. I took it to my local maggie sottero dealer, they verified that the dress is a fake. Starting the return run around. Do not buy from these people.

10/01/2016 - Was a very small "closet" seller on Tradesy for a couple of years, and was pleased to have made a handful of sales, not as many as on another, probably due to its clientele (younger; 16-35?) These sales went well, and there were no problems with collecting my funds. I was not required to check-in very frequently; my account was linked with my email address, so I was alerted if there was any activity. My last check-in was a couple of months ago, when I updated my listings, and made my firrst purchase. I just logged in again to check my listings to discover all were gone, apparently deleted by the firm, for no reason. I wanted to contact them, but also discovered that they eliminated the choice to phone them, but replaced this option w/ a chat service. I emailed them, and wow-didn't receive an answer (previously, I had excellent communication)! So, I guess I'm a gone girl as regards to using this site as a seller OR buyer - I won't return at all... What professionalism!

Terrible customer service
February 23, 2015

Worst customer service I have experienced. Do not waste your time or money on this site. I gave them 3-4 chances and they screwed up each time - they don't take responsibility always blaming anyone but themselves, they lie about the condition of the items they sell for their VIPs and then claim they never said this or that about the item, they're rude to their customers, they don't make bad situations any better by offering some sort of credit or discount... the list goes on. I've had bad experiences with Rachel and Camille. Blair is questionable as is the whole business. Customer service goes a long way when it comes to a business and it is just unacceptable to respond to your customers in the unprofessional manners that I have experienced. It was mind boggling to me that you guys couldn't just own up to certain things even if it was the seller's fault and not yours specifically... after all, you do get a percentage of the seller's earnings. Don't let issues drag on, please respond promptly to your customers and correct them immediately even if it means losing a sale or commission. Little things go a long way.

Shop H. — Tradesy Rep
over a year old

My name is Rachel Berman and I am the Shop Hers team member that worked with this customer. First I want to express my most genuine apology for the outcome of this incident. Never did I want to upset this customer or defame the company that I love so much. I think its important for the site jabber community to understand the specifics of this customer's rage. This customer made a purchase on a Saturday from a private seller located in New York. The customer received free shipping and a $200 discount on the item as all first time buyers on Shop Hers do. I worked very closely with the customer to make sure that the seller was giving her the very lowest price possible. We even offered a considerable discount on a second purchase to appease this customer. The purchase was made on Presidents Day Weekend. This customer is International and assumed that the order would be shipped the day of purchase. We did explain at length that the seller had three days to ship to our offices per our policy. We guarantee the authenticity of all merchandise on the site. Our customers credit cards are not charged until the product is manually vetted by our team of professionals. Yes this does delay the process but it is our way of protecting our buyers and sellers. The item in question arrived at our offices on the Thursday after Presidents Day and the customer was outraged by the delay. I explained that the order was ahead of schedule as the post office is not open on Sunday and National Holidays but she responded saying that she didn't care. She demanded a larger discount on the item for which we were unable to comply after already extending the first purchase discount. Again I explained how the issue was merely a language barrier and how I could understand her point of view but she again told me that she didn't care and proceeded to berate me. I take my job very seriously. I take our customer's happiness very seriously. I give everything I have to my job and I'm extremely saddened by this slander. For anyone that might read this, please understand that I really did try my very best to make this customer happy. The beautiful handbag is en route to her now and I believe she will be over the moon once she receives it.

I sold a few items. I was told they were accepted by shop hers and I would be paid in 3 to 7 days... but was not. They do not have a phone number to call and only one email which they never answer. I will not be selling anything more with them and I am out $$$$.

I have only purchased one thing here but it was a perfect transaction. A great bargain, super-fast shipping, and the item was just as described and very well packaged. I will definitely shop here again.

Its mighty funny how all of the 5 star reviews are within days of each other and come from users with only 1-2 reviews. Hmmmm I was just about to make a big LV purchase on their site but I think ill stick to Yoogis and Bag Borrow Steal or even Ebay

Items depending on the seller can be amazing have had some good luck! But free shipping is a lie you get charged by the courier if your international and after speaking with the courier they explained it wasn't duties or custom it was an actual shipping charge. THE WORST PART IS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE, ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE AND BLAME EVERY THING ON THEIR CUSTOMERS. Was going to sell some items on the site currently not sure if I still want too after dealing with them. Would only spend my money here again if the item I was dying to have was reasonable priced. Very disappointed over all. Being generous with 3 stars.

Purchased a bracelet that was very pricey, but posted as new, and never used. Received in pretty bad shape. Scratched and very clearly used. Returned item and even after an email requesting a full refund due to the fact that Shop Hers didn't double check the item. They charged me a 5% re stocking fee. I purchased a few other items and just not happy. I would rather buy from the store if I am looking for new items.

Not at all thrilled
February 6, 2015

Not at all thrilled. Purchased 3 items from 1 seller, whom I later found is a resale shop. First, the items were described fairly well, but were in worse shape than I expected. Then, I couldn't purchase all three at the same time, so had to make 3 separate purchased. The only good thing is I did complain that I shouldn't have to pay shipping for 3 items coming from the same place at the same time and they offered me store credit. Not a refund. So I ended up finding a blouse, which isn't all that great. I really have no interest in trying my luck there again.
